The election mechanism determines whether DPOS will be fully effective.

EOSC mainnet utilizes the vote mechanism of 1-token-1-vote, so that one account can vote to multiple nodes, but each EOSC can only vote for one node at a time.  EOSC mainnet proves in practice that 1-token-1-vote can effectively avoid node alliances, building a more equitable, sensible and vibrant room for node election.

With the election mechanism of 1-token-1-node, no node is able to occupy long-term positions of BP, and there is enough room for new nodes to become BPs. The election mechanism of EOSC mainnet is imbued with vibrancy.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.
