Oh, I see what you mean. Well, from my point of view, much in here depends on experienced and own preferences. But in my opinion, mining is rather interesting

Altcoins today are struggling , yes no doubt about that but if much attentions are giving to some altcoins with lots of potentials, i think it will make altcoins standout in the market. although some altcoins lacks vision and there are several coins i believe will defintely change the market positively.

Indeed, we cannot avoid that some altcoins have the potential to develop properly. but indeed the current situation altcoin is sluggish and many altcoins are growing just and many become scams. so when there is a growing altcoin that is very good and its growth can be very proud of, closed with the news that many altcoin scams.

Yes ... the situation is not very good for some Altcoins, but for some of other Altcoins have good potential. we hope that this bad situation will become better in a next 2-3 months.

i believe e lot of shitcoins will be dead in this situations and only a good and reliable alts will survive
so, research before buying is absolutely needed

This is the situations of altcoins almost are red. Only good project can survive and will become profitable. Were waiting long but those who can wait can hold their alts. We may losing hope but let’s think that some alts will increase again.

Your optimistic approach will help you to believe that the chance of seeing Alts to rise will be there, those  dying alts are useless projects that don't have any usage or just a copy of another good projects that sooner will be gone for good, but those projects that have a good intentions and have a usable plans for the entire industry will stay and will bring good bounce after the market start to shine green again.

Good coins will succeed while shit will die naturally, investors needs to take time finding the right projects to invest and support along the way, no need to fear if you got the right coin to place your investment.

However, not much Altcoin is able to survive against the trend because in competition there is usually a negative impact from party to party to reach the target. The market has not been stable for a long time due to many ICO failures and it is still uncertain what caused the fall in prices, I hope that this year Altcoin will continue to grow in price and improve its quality.

I hope too, but the whole situation is driving me crazy. Every time I'm certain that some project won't get much hit by the negative trend it turns out in a completely different way, last months were insane with the fluctuations and there is nothing left but hope for me, that till the end of the year market will somehow normalize.

Now it is clearly visible that the cryptocurrency market lacks an influx of new money. Until new money enters the market, altcoins will suffer from every sudden movement of bitcoin. And for the arrival of new money, we need a new hype of cryptocurrencies, similar to what we saw in 2017, when people shouted about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies on every corner.

This is what i am afraid of since with all of those ICOs everywhere and altcoins have been created almost everyday. The investors are being divided into a smaller group and the need of a new money is decreasing over time. But if these investors would stick to the top altcoins in the market the need of new money will grow eventually.

Partly the lack of money in the market will clear it of weak players. The crisis of 2018 reduced the number of fraudulent ICOs, and the lack of new money in the industry in 2019 will not allow projects with weak business ideas to come to the market, and the trend towards a decrease in the number of fraudulent ICOs will continue. This situation reminds me of natural selection in nature - weak or stupid animals do not survive, but only strong, intelligent or able to adapt well to environmental changes animals survive.

Not only altcoins; the crypto space itself is struggling with tokens finding it difficult to increase in price
And with Bakkt rumors suggested to be in September; we can only presume further dips

But still; know the value of coins you hodl and set stop loss / limit
