Majority of people are still hoping the return of altcoin will actually get a big loss on it. It's not a problem if anyone still hope that altcoin will make its comeback in the future.
People are still doing their usual activity and i hope that you can take it positively and you should not judge them.
Some think long time to see the bullrun for altcoin.

Since the beginning of the year, bitcoin has significantly gained price. But altcoins still rose not as high as we would like. There are two options: either we still will dont see the season of altcoins, or he's just late and maybe very soon the situation will improve. We don't know for sure.

The problem I see with altcoin is that it has been manipulated that why we haven't seen most of them gaining this year even tough bitcoin have bounce back and recovered to 5 digits already. I just thought that investors are shelling out big money in bitcoin and staying away from alt coin because they can't make money out of it. We're almost done with the year, last quarter, I don't what to assume but maybe we won't see altcoin market regaining what we have lost this year.

Disregard regrets. I also did not reached the altcoins season of 2017. I just knew cryptocurrency last year but hey, I still have gained profits from them even until now. Altcoins time like 2017 I can't really say when will we experience that altcoins hype again. But hey, there is hope and there is a chance for that again. Though the reputation of most ICOs nowadays aren't good but we can still wait for the boom moment.

There's no assurance that Alts community will grow as expected, many projects still not moving and from how it's been anticipated most likely we will be waiting for some more time, Bitcoin showed bouncing back and trying to improve more chances to see Alts to do the same might happen again but there's no certainty or accurate time frames.

It is difficult to predict when the right time will occur because the market is very dynamic. In my opinion altseason will occur in certain altcoins, not all altcoins will be able to last for a long time. For now, bitcoin still dominates transactions and also market cap value

The first time i decided to invest in crypto was after the last bullrun of 2017 and i knew that 2017 was a big chance and i missed it since i never entered this space very earlier before the bullrun so after bear market takes over what comes straight to my mind was 'its never going to be easy to see a big change in market movement  like 2017'and since then i just keep my head up and find other means of living yet i cant do without investing in coins and tokens,the next altcoin season might not come anytime sooner but only those who are in hurry will be in pain,its never going to be that easy.

I also wish that we would experience the altcoin season like what happened last 2017. It's because 2017 was the year that ICOs are on a roll, and they use Ethereum for that (which ETH itself spiked to almost $1,400 that time). However, the market wasn't matured that time yet because I believe it's also where scammers are taking the opportunity as well by creating fake ICOs with their names hidden and do an exit scam afterward.

As a result, the market plunges for most of last year after Bitcoin reaches an all-time high of almost $20k. It started the following year with around $3k+, but good thing that it gained because the market has matured.

For the altcoin season, we don't know when will it happen yet, but I believe it will happen one day. But for now, I'm rooting more on Bitcoin.

This is true, it might really take time for Alt season to come, the best we can do is to buy some coins with good potential and hold, the Alt season might take a year or more, but just be prepared when the season comes.

Accordingly it is said that altcoin season may not come sooner or later, vut many hopes for it to come in the future and surely it would happen, we just hope that in the near future several.of potential coins would rise up their prices and hoping to pull many altcoins and possibly be making altcoins season in the future. We are in a better position than what we were, four or five months when the market is at it's the lowest price, but the market is still dropping from time to time, like the recent exit scam on one Ponzi scheme, the market has a mix reactions on what's happening in the industry.

We will soon have another all-time high, experts are predicting but if we are trading and investing for a long time, we know that good news will deliver just through another all-time high, and we have a lot of good news now than bad news.

You are right, if we are in hurry, we might worry on the market situation now, altcoins does not move based on its trend before.
Despite of the market condition now, there's still some positive things happening in the market, especially for BTC that has definitely recovered although it has slowed down a bit, but we can expect it will finish strong this year.

For Altcoins, it's alright if it will not grow this year because that does not mean it dies, or whatsoever, people are not ready yet to take the risk in altcoins since those who invested in the peak are really disappointed seeing their holdings are down 80% or more.

I totally agree with you. The previous altcoin season was affected by the increase of bitcoin price and the belief in blockchain technology of the people. I don't know which factor for the next altcoin season but I do believe it will happen sooner or later. That's the reason why altcoins play a big part in my portfolio now

the current market I see is still very good, don't blame the market if there are some coins that fall and die, blame the development concept because they are not able to maintain the stability of their coins in the market, altcoin in my opinion will not experience bulls, because not all altcoins have the same platform , so just enjoy the current market.

Technical analysis from experts can actually be altered in this space. It won't be the first time we see analysis and later on the opposite happens. Don't be surprised if the altcoins season finally comes against those experts analysis. The year isn't over yet.

We are not going to surprised id the result Will be opposite to the analysts of the experts because we know crypto is anonymous and it is hard to get 100 percent real prediction everyone only observer the market condition so we should be ready facing both the pump and dump of crypto just keep your eyes on market always.

yes it is indeed difficult to predict the crypto market. even experts sometimes mistake it. Markets often give surprises. there are many who fail and there are many who are lucky when the market starts to be difficult to predict.

True, now many altcoins are currently in low prices, and now is an opportunity to collect in large quantities, although we also have to wait for the altcoin season, and obviously waiting for it certainly takes a little longer.

Only if you're willing to take the long ride buying is essential as you can get cheap coins around the market, take chances and fill your bag while you still have enough time as a time will be there and the bounce will make it much interesting, the Alts seasons followed when Bitcoin is already highly appreciated, invest at your own expense.

Well, I´ve made the same mistakes (entered in Q1 2017, so I didn´t get teared apart).

I was so much looking for everything else than Bitcoin itself, to grow the value against Bitcoin and for a certain period that plan played out quite good.

But then again I rarely managed to get rid of shitcoins and became a bag-holder that collected >50 different, paying tax for every single asset I´ve traded in and out just to see most of them going down the river.

Now, over 2 years later I regret it big time to not just have bought BTC and ETH and lay back while holding tight.

Anyway, good times will come, I guess/hope and than certainly everybody that got hit hard in the past will be able to act better according to the mistakes experienced in the past - I will definitely do that...

It will definitely take time, especially that we're talking about altcoins here. They're all startups who haven't accomplished anything yet and as investors, you will need to be patient until they hit certain parts of their roadmap. It's good to see big exchanges like Binance listing quality coins that already has an actual product and real partnerships. Those are the small things that can trigger positive trends in the market.

absolutely right, we will need a long time to wait for the altcoin season, at this time I have not seen a sign that the alt season will come anytime soon. we need to be patient hoping the alt season will come again
