I think the Alt season has already come, and many altcoins are very strong show growth, look at the arp eth stellar, they gave more than 20% now as a good entry point in many coins.

The alt season went for a day and now it has back again to red days. This is why you shouldn't be happy so fast when you see the market on green for the meanwhile but later on it will turn to bloody again.
However, bitcoin has been showing its strength again from $9,900 now it's back to $10,250 and trying to break into $10,300 but I can see the hardship on that price while it's queueing there.

I agree with most of the sentiment here, although if you look at the alts closely, you will see consistent change. Most are small and when they change dramatic. It does take a great deal of patience and knowledge as with any type of investing. Doing your own research is a must!

Scam projects will not go away, but good news for this year is that people have learned from their mistakes in the past and the victims of scam have decrease already. Altcoin season may come anytime, so let's be patient, we were patient in the past when we are still waiting the 2017 bull market so I guess we can still do the same this year, like the last bull run, it just abruptly come, so being optimistic all the time would help us here.

By now, It's quite obvious that Altcoins aren't getting as much demand like it had in 2017. Even news like mainnet launch come and go without any movement in prices. The fact that they successfully conducted an IEO doesn't make it a "good" coin. I think you shouldn't based your opinion on that. This is 2019. People aren't not longer investing blindly.

I'm not so sure we have to wait for BTC to hit its ATH before alts increase. Sure, maybe that's how things play out.
