For me Real Madrid is a great team and this is an excellent starting point for any team, i must say that Mbappe and Vini are a bit selfish but because they know that they are the best, in certain cases they should have the opportunity to make themselves more available to the team and try to be more humble, this is the most important thing.

Sometimes it's unnecessary because it actually harm the team and selfishness displayed on the pitch can actually cost them points in certain matches.
Mbappé and Vinicius are indeed good players, but they also need to learn to work as a team to achieve much better results. While not all of their matches may seem selfish. In crucial matches, teamwork is sometimes more important than individual achievement.
Next season, they need to make changes because if the squad remains the same as this season, it will be difficult to break Barcelona's dominance in La Liga especially. I hope Real Madrid can make these changes next season.

I agree with you that selfishness can't give a better presence to the team players, like sometimes it can cause trouble for the team because sometimes a player is lonely can't take a whole responsibility. Team help is necessary otherwise singly you won't be able to deliver a required network, whether you are big players or average players. Here is the quote that "Team work win titles despite Selfishness capped moment". So similarly if these two Killyan Mbappe and Vinicius Junior, play for themselves as individuals, then probably they will only capture moment. On the other hand if these two put little effort on teamwork then definitely they can make their teams much more better....

In previous season if we look at these two like they only used effort for individual and as result their team got nothing except lose like Real Madrid didn't even won any single major trophy. So teamwork is much more necessary than individual.

Even thou this is not champions league discussion thread but yeah the teams facing each other are from Laliga and that discussion fit on this thread as well. Football can be so dramatic sometimes and I won't be surprised if Barcelona make the come back but to be honest with I don't think Athletico Madrid will be that foolish to allow that happens.

That means you’ve not been very observant of Atletico Madrid in their games, they can just lose this match and think that nothing is really a big deal of it. I do not think that Barcelona has to give up, they could score 2 goals, it is not really that hard to score two goals against Atletico Madrid, of course we are going to see the most famous Simeone defense, which is horrible and very boring to watch but we are going to see that happen again, and Barcelona will of course have hard time scoring against it.

The selfishness in the players was what Alonso gas been fighting when comes to the team, he was able to succeed but the management couldn’t keep him due to some relationship with some players and how the team couldn’t perform during his time, which if we rated the performance it will be far better than the new manager’s performance.

There is one thing in Real Madrid squad, the individual brilliance from the players, but the team work to get the good result is what the coach could not achieve from the players and that’s exactly what is affecting the team because they have good players most teams are willing to have.

I almost agree with you that it is now difficult for Barcelona to actually come back from the loss in the first leg, but went on to say outrightly that they are out and cannot come back again and I disagree with this, in fact  I think in what we have seen in the champions league years back now the two goal deficit is simply just not that huge of a margin to say that they won’t come back from.

For me I think in this game that Atletico Madrid have to be on their best at least better then how they were last week because should Barcelona get a goal back early it will build up pressure and recently I noticed how poor they actually can play on those positions.

Barcelona used the Espanyol game to prepare for the Champions League fixture with Atletico Madrid, they are getting ready for Atletico. Hansi Flick knows what he’s doing he promised he was going to fight for the spot, FC Barcelona don’t give up too easily so Diego Simeone better have 22 players on the pitch cos it’s going to be a storm. The Wanda Metropolitano is not an easy place to play especially for this particular fixture.
Barcelona are going to have a lot to deal with but I’m hoping for a Barcelona win and knockout.

We saw a very organized performance from Barcelona against Espanyol. Many thought that barcelona would play carefully in the match and secure a narrow victory. But I agree with you that barcelona considered this match as a warm-up match. They performed well against espanyol and won by a large margin of 4-1.

The concentration of players during the game isn't at its best. I feel that the players are requiring a lot of efforts to prepare the match which is not met in many matches.
Kylian Mbappe is top and we know that. He can do better? For sure. Same goes for all the other players.

It appears as though you are viewing team which has fantastic players, but no teamwork that once saw them win all. It is difficult to see such talented team appear disheveled on field and you are correct that Real Madrid is not performing well because players are acting as individuals other than as one unit. Even most costly stars will not perform in pressure, unless players are concentrated or worked hard to prepare. Even such star as Mbappe needs more strategic approach to demonstrate his abilities and the coach can be forced to take tricky decision of not playing one of most recognized faces in order to make team play more as unit.

Atletico are playing their traditional bus parking or defensive style, it is true. But Barca's current attacking form has a good chance of breaking through the wall and getting inside. In my opinion the real trick will be to force Atletico to play defensively and come out of the box early in the second leg. Because once Simeone's team start defending too much it become much easier to catch them on the counter attack

I think I was having the same feeling about the game but I don't think it will be that easy for Atletico Madrid in this game because I can see it now that the odd is in favor of Barcelona which they might likely utilize it against Atletico Madrid tonight. However, I think it's necessary for us to always understand that football is unpredictable as everything is possible to happen in the game because I don't think it's advise able to make a conclusion right now, even though they are still in good condition does not mean that the game will end in their favor. We can't make conclusion now because no body knows what will happen in that game tonight as we know football can be unpredictable, the game is going to be hot it's a kind of game i wouldn't miss to watch Atletico Madrid still remain in a better opportunity to to qualify but this doesn't mean that Barcelona can't qualify it Atletico didn't play better and Barcelona does Barcelona will qualify but it will take them to score 3 goals ahead. Guys yesterday i was checking the leaderboard and damn it is super tigh in the bottom, i mean two teams are already relegated for me but between the last team in relegation and the 10º position we only have a very small diference which is super crazy, some teams who were fighting for european spots are not so far away from the relegation spots, this show how competitive is this league.
