One step closer for Barcelona with La Liga tittle season 2022/2023 for upcoming match winning against Espanyol on matchday 33 and not matter what match result for Atletico Madrid on 2nd standings right now. Trying to stay in the league in La Liga, Getafe put an end to their long-standing longing for victory yesterday and defeated Celta Vigo 1-0 at home. this is not a surprising result because indeed in the last few matches Real Madrid has played very badly and there is no greater desire in the remaining La Liga matches after they were far behind on points from Barcelona and unfortunately now Real Madrid has the potential to drop to 3rd place in the La Liga standings because of Atletico Madrid currently only 2 points apart and Atletico haven't played 1 match this week, it is very possible for Atletico to replace Real Madrid in 2nd place in the standings.

Valencia vs Villarreal ended in a first half draw. Villarreal needs to take advantage of this game to secure three points so they can close up on the point gap between Real Sociedad. I thought we were going to see a one-sided match. And Villarreal will win this match. But Villarreal's performance was not good in today's match. After 80 minutes, the match is still tied at 1-1. In the 62nd minute of the Villarreal match, Villarreal took the lead with Nicolas Jackson's goal, but Valencia was able to equalize the match in just 10 minutes. Now Valencia is playing a defensive strategy. Valencia's performance in this match was quite good. They deserve 1 point in this match.

Nicholas Jackson is the man of the match, he scored on the 62nd minutes of the match for Villarreal. He has scored a total of seven goal this season. Barcelona missed so many easy chances in this match that it was actually painful to watch. But I have to give credit to the goalkeeper of Osasuna because if it was not for him Barcelona would have scored at least three goals in this match.

The performance of Osasuna's defense was indeed very good in this match and it can be seen that even when playing with 10 players it seems that Barcelona is still having trouble with that.

Right now they are in the third rank. ATM were advancing from behind with a fast manner and inflicting much damage (goals) on the other teams. This time they knocked Cadiz with 5 goals. Meanwhile Real Madrid throw 6 points out of 9 in the last three goals alone!
For Barcelona, they only have to win another match to be declared champion. Another alternative is to get at least 2 draws in the remaining 5 games. Barcelona deserve that with their good team, nice defence and the absence of concentration of their rivals.

Right now, they are not thinking about this whether they are going to end at the second or third spot because their main focus is how to handle Manchester City in the semifinal of the Champions League Carlos Ancelotti is doing his own tricks which are helpful for them in Champions League with they already have enough space for staying into top three which is not bad for them after having double in last season, and again they can win one cup and now doing their all strategy for the big game I am also shocked with their performance in last two defeats but look like they are having no issue with these defeats but if they are able to stop Manchester City then surely things could be entertaining for them and their fans but with the current form of Manchester City it's not looking easy right now.

I don't think Madrid will win City in the champions league. Not because of Madrid's poor form in the league, but because City is on fire right now. They're more motivated than Madrid to win right now.

Real Madrid hasn't choose with Copa del Rey and Champion League matches schedule because left three days after facing Osasuna have important match against Manchester City in Champion League. Carlo Ancelotti have smart rotation with his players composition against Osasuna and seems can't push three days later with the same line up composition against  Manchester City. Both matches most important for Real Madrid after losing compete in La Liga tittle race and right now left opportunities with copa del rey and champion league.

Rotation is must adopted by Ancelotti if want their team keep in the top level performance from copa del rey and Champion League, I think Madrid still difficult finding new back up for Karim Benzema position after losing last game against Real Sociedad when Benzema absent.

Fix, Real Madrid really dropped to 3rd place and Atletico Madrid in 2nd place. This is really embarrassing for Real Madrid. They don't seem serious in La Liga. Even though they are unlikely to win the La Liga title, they should at least be in 2nd place, not 3rd. This is a really terrible result. Sevilla have made a great climb in the standings after improving their form in the league. They would have even been a part of a race for joining a European tournament if there were more weeks to be played now. But still they are in a safe distance from the relegation zone at least. Their loss against Girona was unexpected to me though. I wonder if they have dropped their tempo after reaching safety in the standings.

Maybe they just want to focus on the Europa League at this moment. This makes me think like Espanyol could also get some points from them tonight. Espanyol are in the relegation zone you know but they still have a chance to get out. This could be an opportunity to do well.

Real Madrid moving down to the third position doesn't really mean anything and this wouldn't change the reputation of the club. In life, we put our priority first to succeed in life. UCL and Copa de rey has been placed first by Ancelotti because he knows he can't win Laliga but if he stay more focus on the other two competition, it is possible for him to achieve it. As long as Real Madrid will qualify to the champions league next season then their position on the table is cool. Barcelona was slowly improving when xavi joined in the club. The problem if barcelona is not having good squads right now. IMO, this fight will be a dilemma for Don Carlo. on paper, Madrid is far more favorite when compared to Osasuna. after all, these two teams have a gap, whether it's based on the quality of the players or in terms of performance and meeting statistics. so naturally, if Madrid is more favored to win the Copa del Rey trophy. even so, I'm pretty sure Don Carlo doesn't want his team to have problems in this match. for example fitness problems, or suffered an injury.

Meanwhile, Luca Modric is currently recovering from his injury. Basically, I can't assume too much about this fight. because, we don't have the latest information regarding the predicted lineup that Madrid will field. the problem is that after the final of the Copa del Rey, Madrid will host City. that means, it is very likely that Ancelotti will not play some of his core players in the Copa del Rey final.
