There aren't that many players that have retired or left Real Madrid. In my opinion it is only Benzema and Asensio. @CryptoBuds Real Madrid are a weak team without a proper striker and yes they have decent player’s but I’m surprised at their inability to replace Benzema this season. Lastly I don’t expect Real to win the title because of their striker issue and secondly this is the Ancelotti’s last season at the club hence player’s may not be keen to impress him much hence I’m expecting Barcelona to win the league title again.

Real Madrid needed suitable replacements for Benzema and Luka Modric this season. Because 38-year-old Luka Modrich is unlikely to consistently perform well. However, Modrich is still playing well and fitness is very good. Madrid management has added Jude Bellingham to the team as an alternative to Modrihc. And it was a very good deal. Jude Bellingham can be a worthy replacement for Luka Modrich.

However, Madrid have signed Joselu on loan to replace Benzema. Although Joselu is talented, I don't think he will be able to have the same impact as Benzema in the Madrid squad. In such a situation, the Barcelona team can be considered as the favorite for the La Liga title.

Bounou could be a good alternative as he already knows Serie A well especially his performance last season although in La Liga it was not too good but in the Europa League he performed admirably.
