I have faith that Valencia will start LaLiga with a victory today and 3 important points. They really looked good in friendly games , they create a lot of chances to score compared to last year where they approached a defensive style that almost relegate them so I expect goals from them tonight.

Sevilla...they did not great in friendly games and also they are well known for not having a good start when new season starts. They also lost against Magdeburg...who is in Bundesliga 2 in a friendly game where a lot of important players played.

I'm not sure Valencia can win away to Sevilla. Sevilla looked much stronger than Valencia at the end of last season, when Valencia were pretty much in the relegation zone. Friendly games don't say much. Today will be about earning points and that's what matters.

It's time to get back to the fun after a long break for La Liga.

Actually for the first game I wanted positives for Sevilla as you would expect but it's the opening game and to be honest apart from Barcelona and Madrid I didn't notice any other clubs in their readiness for the new season.
So for once the pdds are interesting enough for me but I'll probably wait and see for the first week in terms of matches as I still can't see clearly the strength of both clubs in the new season.

But certainly there will be some buzz especially the opening match is clearly important to boost morale.

It seems that we are too busy talking about Barca and Real Madrid during this long gap, so we don't see what the future holds for other clubs like Sevilla, even though this club is one of the big clubs that has won the defending European league title and will compete with Valencia later.
If you look at it from Head to Head Sevilla is superior in this match because in the last 5 matches Valencia has never beaten Sevilla even though playing at home Valencia has always failed and today's match will take place at home to Sevilla it will be much harder for Valencia to admit defeat.
Even though this is not a guarantee, this is only my small prediction and I will bet on Sevilla this time.
I am also sure that some of the people here who know this match will definitely bet on Sevilla because it is very clear that there will be a narrow win.

Rayo were leading by 2 goals at half time. Not even 30 minutes into the game, they had 2 penalties, and they had 2 successful penalties from 2 different players. Almeria tried to fight back, and they were able to gain a bit of the upper hand in possession, but they couldn't break the deadlock to create a goal and narrow the gap.
They weren't lost yet, there was 45 minutes of the second half that they could have used to equalize or even turn the game around. It's hard enough to make that happen, but nothing is impossible. At the end of the first half Rayo also relaxed their attack a little.

Basically, bringing David de Gea is very likely to be realized, because David de Gea also still has great motivation to play at a big club in Europe. Because after all, previously David de Gea also refused an offer to play in the Saudi League. Therefore, it is very possible for David de Gea to accept Real Madrid offer if the offer is really given to David de Gea. Because anyway, at this moment David de Gea is also associated with Bayern Munich and yes, it might be a competition between the two teams who will succeed in bringing David de Gea later.

It doesn't matter if he will be backup or not. He is going to play this year with Courtois out, and that means if he signs one year deal, he will play either most games or even all games this season depending on when Courtois returns.

So, having one year contract means that he can be back to being free agent next season and think about what he will do if he wants to (or he can sign a multi year deal and stay as real backup after Courtois returns) but at the very least we are aware that he could stay as he is right now and that is the greatest thing for him. Obviously not a lot of people will have that difference and should consider the situation to be ripe for a De Gea deal without a doubt. Hope that it happens and we can see it finally after all those years.

Benzema's move is really going to have a negative impact on Madrid because after Christiano Ronaldo left the club,it Benzema that was carrying the team on his shoulder.,he was scoring important goals which also helped Madrid win the Champions league then,but he is no longer at the club,and Madrid will suffer because they will find it difficult to have a forward that can replace him immediately at the team.They will be playing against Athletico Bilbao which is a very strong side,but I am still very surprised why they gave Madrid 2.22 odd against Bilbao.It indicates that the game is not really going to be easy for Madrid to win,and it might likely end in a draw.

Real Madrid is currently not looking for a striker. At least not in a way that we expected them to. And at the same time, Mbappé has told PSG that he does not want to leave in this season. He wants to complete his contract with PSG.

So is there a genuine connection between these two? Has Mbappé actually agreed on anything with Real Madrid? I have no idea. But I don’t think that Real Madrid coach is going to get a chance. Especially when this is going to be the last season for him with Real Madrid. Recently, Los Blancos have suffered crucial absence of their important players, Thibaut Courtois that got an injury while Karim Benzema exits Santiago Bernabeu. Real Madrid have alternatives to explore after the departure of Karim Benzema. Carlo Ancelotti got good quality players to utilized for the new season. Vinicius Júnior and Rodrygo will definitely suit in the spots.

Vallecano successfully beat the hosts with a score of 0-2 even though both were created from penalty points. Almeria basically dominated the match well, but unfortunately they had to suffer a bitter defeat in front of their own fans at the Power Horse Stadium. Of course this wasn't the defeat you wanted, but Vicente Moreno didn't find the best solution to find the net against Vallecano until the game was over.

Meanwhile, Sevilla and Valencia were both still playing goalless until the first half was almost over. Sevilla and Valencia both struggled for goals in the first half but I don't think it will end in a draw in the second half. Sevilla looks like they can score goals, it's just that they have to be able to find enough space in the Valencia defense.

I think by looking at the current match and with the time remaining now the possibility of sharing 1 point in their opening match is still very possible to happen because looking at the finishing that the two clubs did it can really be said to be balanced even though Vallencia had more possession of the ball.
But of course a 1-1 score would be better for both than having to be willing to lose and lose points in the final minutes.

Sevilla are believed to be the strongest team after they won the Europa League trophy last season. In fact they are still having trouble showing their best performance in the first match of the season because Sevilla had to lose at home. I also feel that the final result could be a draw but Valencia were able to score a goal in the final minutes of the match which brought them victory in this match. Getting a centre forward striker to replace the outgone Karim Benzema at the Santiago Bernabeu is Real Madrid's topmost issue at the moment and the earlier they try and sign a player of that position before the new season kicks off the better for them.
They've been linked to Kylian Mbappe since the end of last season but nothing serious has happened concerning the deal at this very point. Real Madrid should go for another striker that if they can't sign the Frenchman or risk having a poor season
