Yes Vini is outstanding in my opinion, he is a player who can decide a game, but he is not yet one level with a player like Mbappe. He has something other players don't have and this is not meant to disrespect the fact that Vini is world class as well. I have doubts about Joselu because if he was this rockstar-like attacker, why would it take him to become 33 years old before a big club finds him? This is what makes me wonder about it. But still this also doesn't mean he can be exceptionally good and I simply underestimate him. But Mbappe is one of those players that Real Madrid wants and needs on the team.

I think it is not just even about the talent level but also a bit about the position. Lets face it, Vini is a left winger and no matter how much Real Madrid tries, they can't make a striker out of him, or it would at least be inefficient when they do that.

Mbappe was a left winger as well that turned into a striker to be fair, but he has turned already and Vini hasn't done that yet, could he? Maybe if you give him enough time he could but is there even a reason for it? Instead of turning Vini Jr. into a striker, they could just get Mbappe and they will be able to just focus on everyone at their original position and that way Vini and Mbappe both could be very happy together and win a lot of games. It's a must be done deal for them.

In Spain, Sevilla started the season badly.Sevilla lost 2-1 at home to Valencia and started the season without points and I think we can say that it was a bad result for them.Sevilla has a good squad and I did not expect them to play so badly in their home game.There were no goals in the first half, but the game became lively after the goals in the second half. Sevilla was reduced to 10 men after Bade was red carded in minute 81 and Sevilla conceded the second goal 7 minutes later and lost 2-1.I thought Sevilla, last season's UEFA Europa League champions, would start the league well after this success, but it was not what I expected.Last year, they managed to lift the European Cup even though they had bad results in the league.

I was also considering Sevilla as the favorite in this match. But I didn't bet on this game because the first games are prone to such surprising results. I think it's normal to see surprise results in the first few weeks.

There are a few games tonight. But I think the most important one is between Athletic Bilbao and Real Madrid. This season Real Madrid have signed Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund, Fran Garcia from Rayo Vallecano and Arda Güler from Fenerbahçe. They have lowered the average age of their squad. Last season they were far behind Barcelona. I have no doubt they will try to do better this year. I see them as favorites in this match.

I also definitely think that Real Madrid is going to do better this season compared to the last one. but the problem is they do not have Thibaut Courtois right now. So i think the performance might actually be a little questionable.  Against Athletic club they should win. I am also very interested to see how Arda Guler is going to perform for Real Madrid. There is a lot of talk around this kid. i really want to see if those things are true what they are talking about him.

Even though I said that Real Madrid should be able to win against Athletic club,  I definitely think Real Madrid will still feel that lack of a genuine striker and Thibaut Courtois as the goalkeeper.

Real Madrid have a good chance to make the bed mark in this season with this starting game against Athletico Bilbao and if all things being equal,  Real Madrid is expected to win the game with multiple goals starting from the first half,  since the lineup features some of the club new blood who are boiling and ready to perform to make a record for themselves in the club and on the International football sciens.

I also think about the same thing, of course it's about winning Real Madrid.

Real Madrid have been 0-2 ahead of Bilbao so far, but I'm sure Real Madrid can score a few more goals during the game. Bilbao's defense was too chaotic so it was very difficult for them to anticipate Real Madrid's attacks. I'm excited over the stellar performance from the visitors, they got everything covered. Los Blancos having full dominance in the game, with no breathing space for the home team. San Mamés stadium, victory chants from Madrid supporters, mere looking at the game, Real Madrid will net more goals in the second half. The first half is almost over now and it looks like the 2 goal lead will be the end of this first half.
Madrid were actually quite brave in this match with the same formation 4-1-2-1-2 but played mostly young players because if we look at the line-up only Alaba and Carvajal for their old players the rest are young boys.
There was no Modric and Kroos in their midfield which made me hesitant for the first match but this was in contrast to the game they played.
It was worth watching, Madrid were very aggressive in this game and 2 goals is definitely good for them in this first half.

Real Madrid have made an amazing start so far. They are in full control of the game against Athletic Bilbao and leading by 2-0 as well. Bellingham scored in his first league game already. This is really important for not only Real Madrid but also him. Because this will help him gain more confidence for future fixtures.

Ancelotti preferred two strikers for this game. Vinicius and Rodrygo are playing as strikers. Rodrygo scored a goal as well. I expected to see Joselu but he hasn't entered yet. Maybe in a short time he would also enter the game. He had better use his chances effectively.

Meanwhile Real Madrid are 2-0 up in the ongoing match. Bellingham and Rodrygo each scored 1 goal in the match which has entered the 83th minute. The course of this match is as predicted where Real Madrid will be able to dominate it well even though this is Real Madrid first official match without Benzema but their strength is strong enough for Bilbao.

I think there will be additional goals created in this match, especially since there is still time left for vini and bellingham to score in this match. It seems ancelotti found the ideal formation after he tried several formations in pre-season matches and in this match ancelotti implemented 4-1-2-1-2.

Real Madrid has put in a commanding performance so far tonight and the highlight of the night has been the promising Jude Bellingham, he grabbed his first goal for the club and has put in a stellar performance. I will be expecting that the coach pulls him off soon as he is new to the team and system, even though he took to it like a duck to water.

Many doubted that Madrid could win the fight against Bilbao. but in fact, Madrid won 0-2 from the home team. referring to the statistics of the match, there is no team that dominates ball possession too much. it's just that Madrid had more chances, especially in the first round. they had 10 attempted shots, 5 on target, 2 off target, 3 on block. 2 of them, capable of being converted into goals. now, the game has entered the middle of the second half. however, not many opportunities owned by these two teams. most likely, Ancelotti will make several substitutions in the 70+ minute. Just few minutes to the end of the game and Real Madrid is still leading 2-0. At this point, I don’t think an equalizer can happen again because of the way the match is still going. Real Madrid are still dominating the game despite winning the game. Athletic Bilbao could try again in the next fixture to win a point, but for this game tonight, they’ll be going home with 0 points. They haven’t been playing pretty bad too, I just think Real Madrid is more strategic than them in this game and that gave them the higher advantage over them.

Until entering the 90th minute, the score was still 0-2 in favor of Real Madrid. Bilbao didn't have many goal attempts throughout the match as they struggled to build a good attack due to Real Madrid's tight defence. Bellingham scored a goal on his debut in an official match with Real Madrid, of course it will have a positive impact on him.

Real Madrid basically could have scored a few more goals in the second half, but Bilbao's defense was slightly better than the first half. Ernesto Valverde should be disappointed with today's result against Real Madrid, but he couldn't do much when beaten by Real Madrid in front of the fans.

The performance of Real Madrid team tonight is a true testament that the team is gonna flourish this season. I was surprised to see Aurélien Tchouameni and Jude Bellingham who was signed in the summer transfer window start the game together while veteran players like Luka Modric and Toni Kroos were left in the bench.
Rodrygo I think will have one his best season as Real Madrid player in this campaign. Madrid needs just a recognized lethal striker to have an almost perfect team.

Vini and Rodrygo are talented I won't argue with that. But last season I saw the performance of these two players. They also failed to score from many easy chances. Players like Mbappe and Benzema never fail to score from easy chances. This is why Madrid needs an experienced striker. But if Ancelotti can get Vinicius and Rodrygo experienced enough it will be great for Madrid. These two strikers can serve Madrid for a long time.

We are still not sure if Joselu can play well. However, since he played well with Espanyol, Joselu is more likely to do well with a more experienced squad like Madrid. Nonetheless, your observation holds validity, if Joselu truly possesses the caliber of a world-class striker, why has he not been recruited by any prominent club in the past?

I would say that this game now gave some better insight into the state of the team and how they work together and who is able to do what.

What I found really interesting was Bellingham's position. Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't he play more defensively at Dortmund? He played a trailing center forward tonight if I interpret his position correctly and obviously it paid off as he scored a goal, which is quite good news for Real Madrid to get things done so well with their midfielders involved as well.

Maybe I am underestimating how strong they already are.
