It woudl have been good if they won it I think. After that start in La Liga into the new season, a final like the Super Cup against a monster team like Manchester City can bring back self-confidence and strengthen their morals.

But now I think they could be negatively reminded of the last season when everything was a mess as well and only later did they manage to work their way out of the lower part of the La Liga table and then crown the season with the Europa League final. But I am sure that nobody is really interested in repeating that roller coaster this year again. It still is early, but they should adjust things accordingly and in time of course. There were moments last season when I thought that it might not end well for them with La Liga.

I am not sure if V will be out for 6/7 months. If this is the case, it will surely be a big loss for Madrid. 6-7 months is a long time. I am a bit worried about which team will win the match because I am hoping to see a tough fight between the two teams. In the last 5 matches between the two teams, Mallorca  Won 1 match. And drew 4 matches. Villarreal did not win any match out of 5 matches. Draw 2 matches and lost 3 matches. But it seems that Mallorca team will have a little more chance to win this match.

Despite Villareal's first week defeat, they are still the favorites to win this match. I personally am not too sure about the performance of both clubs, so I might skip betting on this match. I'm still holding Vilareal to win, although I think a draw would probably be a fair result for both clubs.
Week 2 is still a crucial week, as they may still be in the process of finding their best game, because sometimes it comes too late.

It might be more interesting to bet multi on the two matches, Real Madrid and Barcelona, it looks like it will give me a win. I'll give it a go.

Do you actually know that Xavi isn't playing anymore?  He has been a coach fore several years now and ended his career in 2019.

I still think that Barcelona should have won the game, but it is not the old Barcelona from the past. When they have been the best team in Europe years ago, I recall how they were patiently waiting for their chance and they never began to play nonsense even when the time for them to score became minimal. But they are now trying to win with longer balls and receiving that red card is worth a whole different discussion. What a stupid red card and the fact that it happened in the first half shows even more how stupid Raphinha is.

Real Madrid in contrast delivered a good performance and this season is not going to be an easy one for Barcelona. I guess that Real Madrid is set up to keep a high level performance at a stable level.

Looks like this year Barcelona is doing better financially, and they are not forced to sell all that many players, they already sold some for what they actually worth, but that doesn't mean that we are not going to see them be happy about it as well. Dembele for example, great player when he plays but he was always injured and they made 50 million from him.

I think they are going to roll the dice again and with the players they already have, they may end up doing well enough for sure. I believe Kepa Arrizabalaga can have a positive impact on Real Madrid compared to Andriy Lunin, but Kepa Arrizabalaga's form is sometimes worse than expected.

Why are you considering the last five matches because after all, those are just the results of friendly matches, of course they cannot be used as a reference for real matches for La Liga matches. I think Villarreal will still be the favorites to win even if it's an away game for them and Mallorca might be a bit annoying especially for them as hosts. Chelsea had a bad season and the entire squad and lad were all mentally, emotionally and physically down casted game after game.
It all affected the players, he's not a bad lad but he flops alot too whenever it gets to his head.
I'm predicting he'll have a good start keeping clean sheets, in the match day 2 fixtures he'll get to keep clean sheet for Real Madrid.

Let's out his flaws and errors behind him right now, this is Real Madrid, personally even before the standards and goals set by the management or club , Kepa Ariazabalaga would have to set his goals high. If he really would love to further his stay with the club.
