The attacking line is still not cohesive and the finishing is still quite poor so far making me feel this is just like last season for them at the start of the season.
The first half is now coming to an end and the score is still unchanged and their dominance is being hampered as passes are being missed and the ball is being held more by Girona for now.

If José Luis Mendilibar still hasn't changed Sevilla's scheme then for the second half I don't think it will change much.

Sevilla seems to be repeating their difficulties like last season because in today's match Sevilla faced Girona and they closed this game with defeat. This is a consecutive defeat for them at the start of this season because of the 3 matches they played, all of them ended in defeat.

I think there is one thing going on in their squad because they haven't played very well in the last 3 games. I think they should be able to improve their form more quickly because otherwise they will not be strong enough to be able to compete in the top 4 this season.

Sevilla has no change since the last season. They are unable to improve anything. We can see it clearly that they got 0 (zero) points from 3 first matches in this season. They are defeated by Valencia, Alaves, and Girona. Most of these teams are weak teams, Sevilla actually has a better squad. But Sevilla has too much problem inside, both the mentality of the players and their tactic/strategy.

Anyway, it is surprising how Girona started this season. They won 2 matches and got 1 draw so far. No one must predict that Girona will be quite strong. Stuani and Herrera played amazing, each of them already scored 2 goals. It will be interesting if Girona can keep their good results in the next matches.
