A very bad season for Sevilla, their statistics are really beyond expectations. Being at the bottom of the standings after swallowing three defeats is a nightmare, despite the fact that Sevilla are superior in the H2H meeting against Girona. The next match against Atletico made their condition even worse, because on paper ATM was indeed better than them.

I predict that Sevilla will again accept defeat from Atletico Madrid in the following week. This season it will be difficult for Sevilla to get out of their negative trend.

Since they lost the Super Cup to Manchester City they've failed to get a win in their last two matches that's a very  bad way to start a season, when they lost against Alaves i felt maybe it's the beginning of the season and they were yet to recover from the Super Cup loss but losing against Girona that's one thing i don't understand, they were more possessive and had a better chance of winning but they failed to convert 21 shots having just 4 of it on target.

 It would be very tough for Sevilla to win against Athletico Madrid because Sevilla is currently the weaker side between both and they won't stand a chancd because Athletico got a better Attack and defense line compared to that of Sevilla, but i won't predict a straight win for Athletico i think it would be a draw so I'll predict  a  1x in favour of Atletico Madrid.

The game is entering a crucial time now and it's going to be very bad if Sevilla still can't find the back of the net. I liked how Sevilla increased their attacking intensity in the second half, but it looks like the result will remain the same as their problem is not their attacking intensity, but their poor finishing.
1-2 scoreline is likely to be the end of this game, as Sevilla continue to slump to the bottom of the table, as they are yet to win.
Girona, on the other hand, are doing quite well considering the 3 games they've played in the early part of the season.

I think that the expectations for Sevilla grew too much because they won the Europa League final and now everyone thinks that they should get the job done in La Liga as well, but the situation is that they are still struggling to play on the highest level repeatedly. I am not sure if this is to be compareds because winning a competition like the Europa League and then beating their opponents in La Liga is so different. Their games in La Liga are proof that they are still having issues.

Whether our expectations are too high or not with Sevilla's return to the Champions League as well as the status of Europa League champions will make our expectations even better but 3 matches passed with 3 defeats obviously it is quite a difficult thing to accept because with this 4 official matches in this season must get 4 consecutive defeats now.

This should be of more concern because last season they were just as bad even though they still had the advantage of the Europa League but they cannot continue to expect such things because it could be that this season they did not get the luck as before.

They must rise if they do not want to be criticized throughout the season like last season.

Maybe if this drop in performance happened like last season when Sevilla maintained the performance and physicality of its players to win the European league title it would be very reasonable but this season Sevilla has experienced a drop in performance at the start of the season which makes us all doubt whether Sevilla can win the champions league title.
Maybe winning a title in the European league could happen because we all know that Sevilla, one of the clubs that is the defending champion in the European league, has the experience to continue to win titles, but in the Champions League it will be impossible because currently the Champions League competition is getting more difficult due to the arrival of a club that stronger that is hard to beat.
Actually it is too early to judge Sevilla performance at the start of the season because we will never know what will happen to this club could this just be considered as a warm-up after that it will be surprising when Sevilla performance improvement becomes stronger.

It is really unbelievable that Sevilla lost again. They are currently the worst team of the season so far with being the only team having 0 points. This time they lost to Girona home in a game I expected the opposite to happen honestly. There is a goal by Rakitic disallowed due to offside. But even if it was counted I wouldn't have still been confident of them.

I don't know what is going on for now. In the previous season Sevilla started to do better in the La Liga as of Mendilibar's arrival. But now they are back to their poor look in the league once again. Maybe it is the first weeks but they should do something as fast as possible anyway.

This is the same as what happened at the start of last season and Sevilla didn't fix it either, even though if you see the players they have are not much different from their good performance at the end of last season, this is a little surprising indeed and this week's defeat was quite painful to happen in front of their own people.
It's been 3 matches without the same points, this is a pretty bad start to the season and in this match I really regret predicting that Sevilla will rise, I lost a lot of my bets.

And on the other hand, the Cadiz vs Almeria match was also very dramatic this week, Cadiz took the lead first and Almeria had to play with their 10 players, but the Almeria team was able to equalize the score to 1-1 and there was tension at the end of the match so that one of the Cadiz players also got a red card.

Real Madrid got their hands on the best available players in preparation for this season, and the result of that is what we are seeing in the club's performance this season, I believe Real Madrid will be able to reclaim the lost title from Barcelona this season, and with the current standing, Real Madrid can face any club without any fear since their get the best hands to do the job this season.

I think Real Madrid wasted too much time while waiting on Mbappe and now Mbappe returned to play for PSG. They should have a backup plan. Real can win games with Bellingham and Vini but they can't win championship with this squad. If they don't make additions to the forward line this could be another easy season for Barcelona.

No club is truly perfect without making mistakes, all must go through ups and downs, both in terms of performance and the players' fitness. That applies to all clubs in any league. I can accept if you call that sevilla was inconsistent in la liga but can't agree with calling madrid was an inconsistent club in la liga. Despite the loss against Barcelona, Madrid's performance during the last season was still considered to be of high quality. It was still able finishing at the top 3 which is good. The inconsistent club would not able to finish at the top position. The weirdest thing to see sevilla was playing even badly than last season. 0 points for sevilla so far. It looks like the worst club in la liga now. I never thought if sevilla would be performing that bad this season.

I'll  agree with you saying Sevilla is not consistent in domestic league but for Realmadrid no i doubt that's true, there are two major clubs consistent in the Laliga which are Barcelona and Realmadrid and the last time, Realmadrid won a domestic trophy was this year, which was the Copa del Rey, and they also won the league title in the 2021-22 season, this is a club that's got about 69 demostic trophies, 35 La Liga titles, 20 Copa del Rey, 12 Supercopa de España, 1 Copa Eva Duarte, and 1 Copa de la Liga, apart from the numerous Champions League trophies they've had,  and i believe that they'll likely win another domestic trophy this year, probably the league title due to their current form.
 When it comes to the top European competitions Realmadrid abd Sevilla are the most superior in Champions League and Europa League respectively, they've won it numerous times and make it seem like a birthright to their clubs, but im not sure about Sevilla winning it this season but Realmadrid got beaten disgracefully in the semi-finals against Manchester City last season and would do everything possible to reclaim their Title as the champions league winners this season, they've had a good start so far and i hope they maintain it.

The defeat to Manchester City was a bit more natural because their strength was below the quality of players owned by Pep Guardiola, I even saw Sevilla having high playing intensity so they were able to hold Manchester City to a draw until the game was over. Even though it was through a penalty shoot-out, Sevilla had to concede Manchester City's victory. Seville should have performed much better against Deportivo Alaves and Girona because they had slightly even strengths, but instead Sevilla failed to take advantage of the opportunity to gain full points.

The third match will be against Atletico Madrid and this will be a match that will not be easy for Sevilla because Alletico Madrid is also aiming to win in that match. My prediction is that Sevilla will face a fierce resistance because the match will take place at home to Atletico Madrid and if they don't get any points in this match it will make them sink even further to the bottom of the standings.

It's a brilliant performance for Barcelona against Cadiz they deserved to win so as to close the gap against their top rivals Realmadrid because the nore they keep dropping points and Realmadrid who are in good form keeps toping the league they'll stand a better chance of loosing the league trophy to Madrid this season, and hopefully they'll win their next match against Villareal and continue with a clean shit, though it's not going to be very easy.
   
 Against Cadiz Madrid looked so dominant, they dominated in every aspect of the and made it tough for their opponents to creat any chances with just one shot on target out 10 Barcelona on the other hands had 24 shots with 10 target and where able to convert 2 into a goal thanks to Pedri and Torres that came to their rescue at the late stages of the game.

Another weekend in LaLiga where all my eyes are once again on Valencia who are playing against Osasuna and have the chance to beat them and take 3 solid points that will make them one of the teams with maximum points in 3 games.

Bilbao vs Betis should also be a good one where I expect both teams to score and maybe Betis to win but Bilbao is a hard knuckle on home ground.

I don't know what exactly is Sevilla's problem that makes it so difficult for them to be able to show a stable and equal performance in every match in different competitions. I agree with you to an extent but also think that the current Real Madrid can win every competition they're gonna get involved in this season and that's because of the new formation that's been introduced to the team by the manager Carlo Ancelotti.
They have a young and energetic midfield trio of Aurélien Tchouaméni, Federico Valverde and Camavinga which has be the bedrock of their success this season if you ask me. Jude Bellingham's false 9 role is working perfectly as he has scored four goals and one assist in his first three games for the club. Vinicius Jnr and Rodrygo are playing up front and that's why I think they're good to go. It'll take a serious injury from one or two vital players of the Madrid squad for them to have a bad season.

It is a shame for a club that has the highest number of UCL in the history of Football was waiting for a young boy who disappointed them last season, they didn't learned yet they tried to take advantage of his reef with PSG and the boy still stay at his country club, maybe they have learned by now, even Ronaldo didn't take them more like this to bring to the club and till today, he is still the most decorated player that has emerged from Laliga after Messi. 

Furthermore, Ancelloti's behaviour is becoming unacceptable, almost all the top players have gone injured and he is stubborn and keen on not signing any new players, he thinks he is the best when it comes to decisions but that's a wrong decision that will come back to hunt Los Blancos. I was one of his fans but I can't wait to see him go back to Brazil where will go and retire as a manager, overconfidence will make you do what is wrong without realising and that is the Joke the old man is playing with Real Madrid.

In this match Villarreal and Barcelona are ready to give their best, none other than the goal is to hunt for a second win this season. this time Barcelona will visit Villarreal headquarters, Estadio de la Ceramica, and it's not an easy battle for Barcelona at all. Barcelona itself started this season with a less smooth record, Xavi Hernandez's squad only scored four points from two matches. on the contrary, Villarreal's condition was not as good, they only got three points with the result of one win and one defeat.
