Barcelona dug a hole for themselves against Villareal and managed to pull themselves out of it. It was meant to be a slightly difficult match on paper and started great for Barca going two goals up very quickly and they managed to blow everything away and saw themselves losing a match they should have already had wrapped up.

They managed to win but was not convincing just like their other performances this season. The team desperately needs a boost of some sort especially in their attacking options; Lamine Yamal is playing really well along with Ferran and Fermin. But they need more in form options to compete for all competitions they are playing in.

People are overreacting, the team is quite different compared to last year and that's why they are not going to end up getting wins back to back all the time, I think it would be smart to end up considering them the championship contender even with all these games because at the end of the day they are just having their early games and adjusting.

Many players there do not know about the Barcelona football and I think it would be weird if they just came in and started to play amazingly. With all these new players I am sure that they are going to end up being a little different and should be considered a bit different for sure. I think it should be easy to handle all this and could be considered a bigger deal on the long run.

Losing 0-2 to Barcelona in the first 15 minutes was not the end of everything for Villareal. The fact is true that Barcelona were unable to control the tight movement of Villarreal's players after they went 0-2 up, several mistakes leading to Villarreal's 2 goals to end the first half with a score of 2-2.

To be honest I was disappointed with the performance of Barcelona's defense instead of the attackers, of course because Barcelona didn't play well in defense so Villareal was able to execute their chances to score 3 goals in a 3-4 defeat to Barcelona. Xavi will have to make some adjustments to his squad line-up, but the good news is that João Cancelo  has agreed to join Barcelona right now and will be announced soon.

I'll congratulate ATM on their victory tonight but we shouldn't forget that they can never be as impressive as they were tonight, something I never saw Diego Simeone do has happened.
With this performance I believe clubs like Real Madrid and Barcelona won't be that hard to defeat in any encounter, I just wish they should try as much as they can to keep Felix in that team at least till January. If he was around I think he'd have performed absolutely alright. This performance alone would build up enough momentum in the next game for the Atletico Madrid side.

You are wrong, I mean Atletico Madrid's performance will be very different against Barcelona and Real Madrid. Atletico Madrid managed to paralyze Rayo Vallecano's defense with a score of 0-7, but that was because Vallecano didn't have a good defense. Of course Barcelona and Real Madrid are different so Atletico Madrid won't be that easy to beat the top two favourites.

Atletico Madrid's performance today was certainly very good, I admit it. They are quite fast and have good finishing accuracy. Morata scored 2 goals, but Antoine Griezmann was the best player in this match.

What a night for Rayo with a terrible performance from the players. They conceived four more goals in the second half with Morata scoring two goals after he came from the bench into the field. I couldn't believe how loose this club is and porous for ATH to easily destroy their defense in this pattern.

Tonight is ATM feast and Simeone will be enjoying himself over the flawless victory which his men gave Rayo. This kind of thing is common in any team including a strong team like Barcelona have experienced it a quick goal can indeed change everything including concentration and mentality, I wouldn't say Rayo's players were bad but in this game they were caught by surprise and unprepared.
