Yeah, just come back to this thread now and I’m shocked that Real Madrid was able to turn this match around I didn’t watch the game. I already gave up on this match and just going to check the score and see that they won the game in the end. I think I’m gonna need to rewatch the end of this match, this is a huge win for Real Madrid because they basically lost the match and to the match around in 10 minutes with a player down is just insane

It’s weird how Valencia completely collapsed in the final minutes after a long and difficult fight. In the other side, Despite being down to 10 players Madrid's hopes didn't disappear. After Vinicius was sent off with a red card for his usual foolish mistakes, however, it felt like the entire team found a new motivation instead of giving up. Modric managed to equalize, restoring Madrid's chances once again, and just before the final whistle a mistake by Valencia's defender gifted Bellingham a free goal, securing all three points for Madrid.

With this victory, Real Madrid is now the official leader of LaLiga. However, after this challenging match against a struggling team near the bottom of the table, I think it's clear that Ancelotti needs to address the team's mistakes or create a better plan. I believe that, if this was against a stronger opponents who doesn’t forgive any errors and don't concede easy goals, Madrid’s chances will drop to 0.

It is not surprising that Real Madrid were able to turn things around in the second half, they often make comebacks but in this match it was quite surprising because Real Madrid were able to score a goal even though they had to lose one of their mainstay players, Vinicius Junior due to a red card. and that happened when the match was about to end. Then what about the Real Madrid players when playing with 11 men, they were completely unable to score goals and often wasted opportunities. But on the other hand, they were able to take the lead first and hold off Real Madrid's attacks for quite a long time, of course this is a good achievement for Valencia.

They are indeed very lucky to secure the three points today because they score the two goals after Vinicius was sent off and they were playing one man down before they scored two goals to complete the comeback.

I thought it would be a more relaxed game for Real Madrid, but when I saw that the game was coming to an end and Real Madrid was not scoring any goals, I started to get very worried, especially because I had bet on Real Madrid to win. I am happy that at the end of the game we managed to come out with a win, but this red card that Vinicius received will be a problem for the team in the next games, because the next opponent is stronger than Valencia. It's hard not to feel sorry for Valencia, they played really well in the first half and things were looking bright in the 79th minute when they were leading 1-0 and the referee pulled out a red card on Real Madrid's player. They were all set to grab a win despite being a massive underdog, but it's just wasn't meant to be. Real bounced back in the last minutes with 2 goals.
At least they got to score the first league goal in 2025.

Real is back in the lead with 43 points, and Valencia is still second from the bottom with only 12 points.

She is still quite young and indeed her temper often explodes especially when she meets Valencia who can always provoke Vini well and unfortunately she is always provoked.
Moreover, it seems that Vini still cannot accept the previous treatment because we know what Valencia and Vini's track record is like. First of all, we have once again seen why Vinicious Jr. isn't the Ballon D'or winner, I mean I do not care how good you think he is, he is just not a good human and everyone hates him for exactly the same reason for exactly the same thing as anyone would understand if they watched the game, not only he did a red card move, but also him going mad about it, like somehow expecting that to be not a red card? Thats a red card everywhere around the world. But lets forget the negatives, look at Luka fracking Modric, that dude is 39 years old, and he didn't go to Saudi league for money like others, he stayed at Real Madrid, and still saving the day for them even at that age, the year is 2025 and he is still a superstar, dude is insane. I really loved Real Madrid today, they got unlucky a few times, Mbappe's offside goal, Judes missed penalty, they were really unlucky. But the real unlucky was that very last shot from Valencia player at the end, the ball glided for hours if you ask me, and it hit the woodwork, looked like would go in, but bounced out. What Real Madrid did tonight is a classical demonstration of the saying that "it is not over until it is over". What a come back! Just when many had already given up, they scored twice to redeem their imagine as the undisputable champions. My respect for Real Madrid have just increased to a new level because I have never seen such level of courage from a team. They had a one red card which ought to demoralize them but instead of being weaken by the red card, they got stronger and better. Just like Zaguru12 said, Bellingham truly saved himself tonight because the penalty he missed would have made him feel bad should Real Madrid had lost the match. Don't be in a hurry to conclude a match when the referee hasn't blown the last whistle of the match because every minute in football counts for a team to take home the victory.

Valencia wants to deny Real Madrid their cool opportunity of top the La Liga table, Real Madrid had to say no to that, not to allow that to happen. They will have to play with their might to make sure they stay ahead of Atletico Madrid and Barcelona in this new year. I think everyone who watched this really felt tense until Real Madrid managed to equalize the score in the 85th minute. But the real peak of tension occurred when Vini Jr got a red card. because yeah that's a really messed up situation. because at that time Real Madrid was still trailing 1-0. And I was quite surprised by how weak Real Madrid's defense was even when their only opponent was Valencia. But the most important thing is the end result. And yes, the final result was that they were able to win thanks to a goal scored by Bellingham in the added minute of added time. And with this Real Madrid returned to the top position. But Real Madrid's victory this time really came at the cost of quite heavy sacrifices. because well one player has to get a red card.

TBH, I never expected that Real Madrid will experience a difficult match today. They are against Valencia which are a part of 3 teams in relegation zone. How can Valencia lead the game with 1 goal now? I assume Ancelotti a bit underestimate this team, Ancelotti doesn't put their best midfielders. Ceballos doesn't deserve to be among the starting players, there are still Modric and Camavinga on the bench.

However, I agree with you that it is not over yet. The match is still on going, there is a chance for Real Madrid to win the match. But I think there should be some changes in the tactics and the players in the field. It is a bit annoying that Ancelotti still doesn't change any player.  

I'm not surprised by Valencia's performance against Real Madrid, even when they are in the relegation zone, because Valencia and Real Madrid matches are always tough, and Real Madrid used to struggle to beat Valencia most times. Real Madrid still shows their worth in the second half by coming from behind with two late goals, which help them to beat Valencia and top the La Liga league table. You will not blame Ancelotti for starting Ceballos ahead of Modric and Camavinga in this game; maybe Ceballos was rightly fit to start the game, and that would be the reason why Ancelotti picked Ceballos over Modric and Camavinga to start in this game.

This match was really interesting and both teams played in excitement from start to finish. Real Madrid were under a lot of pressure and if they had not won this match, they might have failed to occupy the top position of the points table. However, Bellingham has to be praised for giving the team the victory by scoring a goal in the last minute of the game and winning 2-1 and collecting three points for Real Madrid. The match became more difficult for Real Madrid when Vinicius got a red card and went off the field and did Valencia attack Real Madrid enough. Although Real Madrid managed to occupy the top position of the points table, it was the most difficult and exciting match. Basically, I would say that Real Madrid won this match only because of their luck, otherwise it might have ended in a draw.  However, since it was such a difficult game against a team like Valencia and Real Madrid was under a lot of pressure, Real Madrid will have to play with more awareness from now on.
