It's very wrong and disturbing if we look at the level of big names in Madrid, you can't call various positions and miss out on one or two big names that has the ability to change few things in their games. Having Vinicius, Mbappe and Rodrygo as attackers, Bellingham, Guler, Valverde and Camavinga as midfielders, Tchouaméni, Militao and Rudiger as defenders with an outstanding goalkeeper.

Atletico Madrid are the least spending team in general compared to Barcelona (they don't have money these days though  ) and Real Madrid but they are in the lead in the La Liga now. 2 additions to the midfield - defense line and another 2 for the attacking line. Around 180 million euros spent in total for these 4 players. Quite good amount for that many players honestly. We all know how expensive players are in today's football. Simeone is a really good handler with the current squad he has.

It is nice to see Sørloth and Alvarez both have adapted this season. I was worried about Alvarez the most after seeing his start. But now he is also making nice goal contribution. Can't wait for the Madrid derby at Santiago Bernabeu on February 9th!

Raphina was extremely exceptional in the game. Even though the game looked so easy as they were able the coin out five goals from an el clasico which happened to be a final. In which if there a penalty didn't happen in the 84' Barcelona would have had a clean sheet. Madrid needs to work on their confidence because although the Super Copa Mbappe was the only player who was able to challenge them enough.

In some news, I saw that Ancelotti is ready to make changes to the formation of the team and he fields in some players to play at the same time, this was decided after their big loss to Barcelona in the Super Cup finals.
