I’m impressed with Xabi Alonso,s input so far. I can see a better playing style and a gradual build of good team work within the players, I also noticed he is getting a better understanding of how best to utilize his star studded team to the best of their ability. If they fully get an understanding of Xabi’s philosophy and team work they will be an excellent team to watch.

The thinking towards the Xabi Alonso is seeing like he is falling between the good comments and ordinary comments. As many fans are thinking like he is doing a good job . And what he is doing seems in the output of the team. But according to many he is not doing something which is really appreciable. But i think that Xabi Alonso is a coach who knows how to get players in  form and a  good combination team. a good coach has the ability to manage the team and get out their inner talent in the team's favour. Because the impact of a coach on any team is clearly visible both the good and the bad. And Xabi Alonso will really manage Real Madrid to perform as the best team. it is important for the team and essential for the coach as well.

It was a good one and the control is something some players can't get hold of and blasting the shot into the back of the net. Real Madrid look different the way the play in the first 20mins that I haven't watched and the visitors are not that coordinated even with how they try to play a counter attack it still doesn't show if they'll be able to get something in this game. Real Madrid must be in control in this game and if they can't score like 2 goals in the first half I don't think Mallorca players will be scared of coming out, so this is an easy game to bag in the 3pt and with a better display at home for Madrid.

I'm sick of these players having the entitlement mentality of staying in a club, even when the manager doesn't have them as part of their game plan.. He just wants to be called a "real Madrid" player -- Just to be known as a young talent that was part of the club.

Meanwhile, Mallorca has already scored one goal on ground; it doesn't look like Madrid is struggling in the game, but they've not just been able to beat Mallorca's defensive barrier. Is this how they're preparing for this season's champions League? Xabi Alonso needs to be more tactical, not just trying a direct game plan as teams have leveled up big time.

I think it's enough for Real Madrid to give a chance for Tchouameni, this guy already played for 3 years in Real Madrid, but he still not improve a lot.

The problem of Real Madrid they're stingy to sign players, I mean, they want the contract of players they want ended and they can sign for free transfer, see Mbappe and TAA for the example.

I never knew Liverpool made a move for him... How did I miss that? He should be a confused personality to not leave the club that constantly keeps him as a reserve player that sometimes, is not even given a chance to play in important matches.

Rodrygo is a tactical winger that barely even has enough play time to improve... Well, I don't blame the manager; Real Madrid has always been a team that don't tolerate a drop in form one bit, even from a player like Ronaldo that gave his best. At 24, he's still very young to try other clubs IMO.

It seems that madrid conceeding early goals and coming back that they were doing last season will continue this season too because watching Madrid in the twenty minutes of this game am not too impressed with the performance of this team, Alonso should look for a way and fix this problem because this was thesame problem that madrid was trying to battle last season

The competition in Real Madrid attack is getting tougher, and Xabi Alonso also seems less interested in relying on him. This should be the right moment for Rodrygo to leave the Santiago Bernabeu. Liverpool and Manchester City were rumored to be interested in signing Rodrygo, but given the situation, it's very likely that Rodrygo will stay.
Starting games from the bench isn't bad, but if it happens too often, his position on the Brazilian national team will also be indirectly threatened. Yeah, they had a good run between 2017 and 2021, but let's look at 2018 when they placed second, Real was beaten that time 12 times!!! ,in the next two years, even added Real and Barca never lost that many games!

I always considered Atletico going above the 3rd a fluke rather than a performance, probably a biased view, but that's what I always thought of them

While typing this, I just refreshed through and realized they scored 2 goals in 2 minutes.... Whattttttttt!!!!!!??? This is impressive and has automatically pushed Mallorca into defending all through until the end of the first period! Okay, this is only beginning to get interesting, let's see how Mallorca reacts to this in the next half.

That goal wasn't a defensive error na, it came from the corner kick, he leaped higher than his marker to score the goal. It's half time now though and Real Madrid leads with 2 - 1 on the scoreboard. As for Mbappe, him and offside is just 5 and 6, I wonder the day he will try beating this offside trap. It would have been 4 - 1 and two goals for him if not for the offsides.

If the manager is considering him as a substitute, I think he should leave the team. Rodrygo is a player who could easily be a starter for any other team. The Brazilian looks quite down. Perhaps he could play for Real Madrid in the second half. I was also surprised that Xabi chose Mastantuono over him. He must have a lot of faith in the young Argentinian.

There is no such thing as "too much expectation" in Madrid. He knew what he was getting into before he signed. he signed for Madrid, a team where you can win 15 straight games and get criticised for losing the 16th game. He knew this before signing. Ancelotti got fired for having a bad season after winning the Champions League and La Liga. If Alonso doesn't win a trophy this season, he will be sacked, so he's under a lot of pressure.

Madrid does not really pay attention to how you play as long as you win, but that doesn't mean they have the luxury of playing badly even if they win. They have to play relatively well, even though it's not entertaining.
It is expected of Alonsoto to do better than he did at Bayer Leverkusen. He doesn't need to win the league without losing a game, but he needs to win the league and also win the Champions League. The expectations of Leverkusen and Madrid are not the same, Madrid's is way higher and he understood this before signing.

The expectation from Real Madrid, in any given season, is to win UCL, win La Liga, and with the cup. That's it, there is no other alternative that could be accepted as great, if you win just one of them then it's decent but not a big deal, you have to have treble, to make it great.

I understand it may not be possible to do that every season, of course you will end up with bad results eventually, but at the same time you have to realize this is what fans wants, and anything less is not acceptable.

This is the way we can improve and for that reason we are going to end up with better results for them this season because they already used their chance of not winning last year. Xabi has to win, that's why he was brought, to win.

Real Madrid are back into the game 19 minutes after suffering the one goal down. Arda Guler and Vinicius Jr. scored two goals within two minutes to give Madrid the edge before the half time whistle. With this score, it is obvious Real Madrid will get the three points because the first goal they conceded was like a challenge which will not be allowed to happen again. If Real Madrid is to lose match, it should not be to a small club like Real Mallorca.
