Despite having enough star players, Real Madrid could not win this match but ended the match in a draw due to which they fell behind in the points table. To compete with Real Madrid this season, they must be in a high position in the points table from the beginning, otherwise Real Madrid will try to beat Barcelona this season. If Barcelona's performance continues in the next match, then they will definitely fall behind in the La Liga points table and will lose the chance to become champions this season. So if Barcelona has to compete and become champions, then they must play strongly in the next matches and win and collect enough points.

I think we are looking at this same subject from different angles. I was personally impressed with Rayo Vallecano for manning up to Barcelona team and rendering their attacks ineffective especially in the second half, they so neutralized the Barca team to the extent that they didn't secure any shot on target. The result was not surprising and it was not a bad one either because this small teams sometimes whenever they are playing against bigger team they always tend to show themselves so as to attract the crowed because initially one would think that the bigger team will win so in this scenario if the smaller team start showing some great performance, the fans will be so much happy and excited and this always make football interesting just like you said you enjoyed the game. though it doesn't happen all the time because sometimes it use to be like a spirit a gingering one in that matter if it is not there the bigger team will so mess the smaller team up.

 I noticed that in various leagues across Europe the VAR made lots of wrong calls last week, it was introduced to aid the officials against errors not to destroy football entire, this is something FIFA should look into and try amend before it becomes normal. Further disappointment, I criticize the defense for being too ambitious, wanting to help the attack score while neglecting their own defense. Barcelona defenders often gave Rayo players chances, which almost resulted in goals. Hansi Flick must correct this performance.

Of course, not every match is guaranteed to be a success. I don't think Barcelona deserved to win this one. Rayo was the team that put in the effort, and I'm sure they were happy to get a point from Barcelona. However, it's not easy to catch Barcelona in such a bad situation. What was the vindication exactly for Rayo Vallecano about? Were they also given a fake penalty like that of Barcelona, no of course. If Barcelona had scored another goal wouldn't it have counted and that's how they would have won the match. To be there's absolutely no vindication here for them. I just wonder they are not making noise again on the internet after this, if it was against them, they will say all sorts of things against La Liga and VAR, but it's in there favour, everywhere is quiet.

Something was wrong with Hansi Flick handling of today match. I wonder why Rafinha was substituted early in the second half? It's clear that after being replaced by Rashford, Barcelona lost its charm. And Olmo played very poorly today. At least two big chances from him could have saved Barcelona from a draw. FC Barcelona performance wasn't really impressive it was not up to expectations, yes they have many Star players but likewise Real Madrid so you see this year will definitely be though for both teams and Real Madrid went trophyless last season and wouldn't like that to repeat itself, kudos to Xabi Alonso in as much as he's trying to adapt to the way of the Spanish LA Liga and trying to put his team in order he's still manage to win match, don't be surprise Xabi Alonso will win this season Spanish LA Liga, if he can do it with a team like Bayern Leverkusen then he can do it with real Madrid believe.

Barcelona thought that they could easily survive in their defence without Inigo Martinez, but in the last three days Barcelona defence has been facing serious challenges trying to keep a high line and yesterday the keep had to get exceptional to prevent Barcelona from losing the match.

I agree with what you said, that Barcelona shouldn't have played like this. They were far from their usual style of play, it was like they lost their game. Barcelona lacked intensity and made many mistakes that they shouldn't have made. They also argued that the Vallecas pitch were in poor form, which affected their performance, but I don't think that's a complete excuse... their game simply didn't show the quality they should have.
If Barcelona want to catch up with Real Madrid, who currently sit at the top of the table, they must fix their mistakes right away, otherwise, they can forget about the La Liga title.

That was a clear penalty. I don't know why rival fans will never say things as it is, as long as it favours their rival club. The player knocked Yamal out of the way; he didn't even go for the ball at all. What do you want the player to do before it can be a penalty? He knocked Yamal off the way. If that challenge was outside the box, it would have been a foul, but because it's in the box, we're hearing different narratives.

And how is Barcelona being blamed for the poor state of La liga? Do you know Barcelona fans were banned from going to the stadium because of the state of the stadium? Did you see the state of the pitch? The match was played in Rayo's home stadium, Vallecas, which is in Madrid, so how is Barca being blamed for the VAR shutting down?

Hmmm, honestly that was a really awful display by the Catalan side because Ray Valacano is not that strong to stop Barcelona from the victory, but unfortunately they did... Barcelona attacking was quite poor and I think it is all happened due to bad condition of the ground. Despite there is also mistakes of Barca player but the 70% was due to the pitch condition. However Barcelona have failed to claim the three points, and because of this they are now in 4th place.

Yeah, obviously the defense was too bad. I monitor it well so that whenever Barcelona defense tries to offside trap, they misunderstand each other all the time. I think its happened to player rotation like if Cubarsi and Arojo were there then probably they wouldn't make any mistakes.

Anyway, it's a big lesson for the Hansi Flick side. In next match they will try avoid these kinds of mistakes.

We cannot really capitalize on the match between Barcelona and Rayo Vallecano because they still have a long season and if we are to analyze the La Liga based on current achievement then yes we can say that Barcelona is the strongest team, no doubt about that. Since 20233, Rayo Vallecano have been very tough on Barcelona when they are playing at their home ground because they have won Barcelona once, played draw twice and Barcelona has also won them once. In the match yesterday, Rayo Vallecano ensured that they don't create a winning opportunity for Barcelona and they kept to it so it's not a big deal and i don't see anything disappointing in that game, if Barcelona had lost that is when we would have called it a disappointing match in respect to Barcelona.

Last season's champions (Barcelona) were held to a draw by Rayo. This was certainly far from my prediction. I assumed Barcelona would win against Rayo, as their squads were clearly the best, boasting many star players. In today's bet, I bet on a Barcelona win because I saw Barcelona as the strongest. Unfortunately, my guess was wrong, and the match between Rayo and Barcelona ended in a draw.

As the home team, Rayo certainly played well, attacking Barcelona well. If I'm not mistaken, they scored numerous goals. Unfortunately, the referee only awarded one goal in this match. If all of Rayo's goals had been awarded, Rayo would have had the potential to win against Barcelona. If Yamal hadn't scored on penalties, it seemed certain Barcelona would have lost to Rayo. Fortunately, Yamal scored on a penalty kick.

Now, Hansi Flick must really improve Barcelona's game so that the Barcelona players can capitalize on the opportunities that arise.

In my own opinion, I think Rayo deserved to win that Spanish La Liga game against Barcelona over the weekend. Apart from seeing few goals that crossed the goal line being cancelled, Barcelona which happens to be the away team got a controversial penalty which was converted by Lamine Yamal. Personally, I don't think Yamal deserves that penalty but what was more impressive for me in the game was that the home team didn't allow the decision stop them from getting at least a point from the game. Hansi Flick like you rightly said needs to improve his team but if you ask me, I don't think Barcelona will be able to replicate their impressive records of last season.

They had to give Barcelona an undeserved penalty after VAR went to sleep. It's like it happened on purpose that the review didn't come from the VAR. After the game, i didn't see Pedri with the press to talk about how it wasn't a penalty but it was given to them anyways. Last week he was quick to point out a decision against his team and this week that a decision was in favour of his team, he didn't blab about it  and called Real Madrid on it just as he did last week.

That was a clear penalty. I don't know why rival fans will never say things as it is, as long as it favours their rival club. The player knocked Yamal out of the way; he didn't even go for the ball at all. What do you want the player to do before it can be a penalty? He knocked Yamal off the way. If that challenge was outside the box, it would have been a foul, but because it's in the box, we're hearing different narratives.

And how is Barcelona being blamed for the poor state of La liga? Do you know Barcelona fans were banned from going to the stadium because of the state of the stadium? Did you see the state of the pitch? The match was played in Rayo's home stadium, Vallecas, which is in Madrid, so how is Barca being blamed for the VAR shutting down?

Yeah, obviously that was a clear penalty. If we look at the other angle, you will be able to see that Ray Valacano, the defender, pushes Yamal Jamal left foot. Indeed the penalty call was a fair decision by the referee. The anti Barcelona people always keep on complaining; even if it is a legit decision, they always try to defame the potential of the team. Although the their favorite club (Real Madrid) is still performing very poorly, they keep on finding netygrette in Barcelona performance.

However, in the match, the referee also took some wrong decisions in favor of Barcelona. Now, so far, so good, Barcelona lost three point. Now, they  should focus fully on the next match….
