I can't even remember the last time Real Madrid conceded so many goals in a single match. Someone wrote yesterday that Real Madrid hadn't faced any strong teams this season and that the match against Atletico would be a test for them, and I can say that it looks like they failed that test. It was a good match for Atletico, but after a match like that, one wonders why they haven't played as well as yesterday before, dropping points against Mallorca, Alaves, and Elche.

Madrid loss to ATM was pretty surprising, especially considering how consistent Madrid usually is as one of the top teams. But in derby matches like this, the home team often has the upper hand, and ATM definitely made the most of playing at home.

You could see the pressure getting to Madrid, ATM fans created a tough atmosphere, and that seemed to affect Madrid’s mentality. Even Courtois, who’s normally rock solid, had a rough game and didn’t look like his usual self.

But let’s see what happens when these two teams meet again and Madrid gets to play at home. I’m pretty confident Madrid will turn things around and beat ATM in the next one.

You're right, Lamine Yamal was absolutely essential in Barcelona's attack. He came off the bench and was responsible for Barcelona's effective attack, leading to the second goal. There were several big chances that should have been converted into goals, but unfortunately, they weren't. Barcelona is truly fortunate to have Yamal in their squad and he's one of those players who can truly impact the game.

Honestly, I'd say Roony Bardghji and Dro Fernández deserved to be benched instead of given more opportunities in the lineup. Hansi Flick shouldn't have been so confident in trying to rotate so many players at once in a crucial match like today, but he was incredibly fortunate to secure the win and move top of the table today.

I agree with you that Barcelona is the favourite to win the league this season but Real Madrid is still a big threat to them. I'm strongly convinced that the league this year will be very hard to predict and Real Madrid and Barcelona will be alternating the top of the league position until towards the end of the season that the winner will become known.

Both Barcelona and Realmadrid had only just lost a single game so they are preety much on same level now.. but still, i would still say it’s early to think Barcelona would win the league .. although, they are a strong contender as usual. Another team that could join the race if they keep up is Athletico even though they lose some points to draws and lost some matches already, the interesting part is yet to be unfolded anyways.
