Barcelona has already took it to the top of the table following one of the worst lost of game Real Madrid has experienced recently and using the opportunity to lead. I as a person did not even imagine the kind of outcome we saw on such game but it shows how you cannot be too sure of the club to win in derbies like this.

This was all Barcelona was waiting on you know, for Real Madrid to drop points so they could take advantage of that with what ever fixture they’ve got to top the table. Sadly for Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid humiliated them yesterday with a 5:2 goals win and you just know there isn’t anyway Barcelona wasn’t winning their next fixture. It came too soon with Real Sociedad and though Sociedad took to the scoring early in the first half, a come back from a 1 goal difference is no trouble for Barcelona. Equalized in the first half and took the lead in the second.

Yeah finally Barcelona got the moment to take over the standings even if only for a while, I'm not a fan of either team but i like to see these teams overtake each other this means that the League is not only dominated by one team. On October 26, Barcelona will play away against Real Madrid so here we will see which team is most worthy of winning the title this season, I mean the winner of the match.

Hmmm, well this would be the do-or-die match because both are in an intense push to win the league competition. El Clasico will be the final announcement of who will the winner who's win the El Clasico because no more teams are here to compete for the league title race at the top place. Last night Real Madrid lose the point after Atlético Madrid's humiliation, and now today it was Barça's turn, and ultimately they succeeded in the match and also got the 1st place.... Now officially Barcelona is league leaders and if they maintain their efficiency til El Clasico the they probably can win the league titles one more time.

I never forgot that ATM vs Real Madrid was a derby match what I wasn't expecting was the goals and how they were scored honestly I expected more from Real Madrid because this season they have been the better side when compared to ATM and their position in the league standings it's a good example to pick them to win ahead of ATM because during last season when they were struggling Barcelona defeated them back to back in their derby game so I was expecting them to do likewise to ATM but instead they were the one that was defeated with lots of goals.

Although most people consider El Clasico the most exciting match, let's not forget that the derby is always an emotional match for both teams and the fans. This was evident in the tight match, with both teams proving themselves in the match. I also didn't predict a crushing defeat for Real Madrid because I initially thought Real Madrid would win. Exactly, Real Madrid always have different starting line up composition every games although their player not get injury, I think is huge problem how difficult build up good chemistry until last games defeated by Atletico Madrid and conceded 5 goals. But the La Liga tittle race still longer have many matches left and most important thing the el clasico match result should be indicate about which one stronger candidate team would be the winner.

I think Real Madrid must have underrated Atletico Madrid because they wasn't playing well they could be the reason why they were surprised by the defeat but the up coming El-classico should be a different result remember that Barcelona defeated Real Madrid in all their meetings last season this season meeting them again they may want to repeat that same thing but Real Madrid already lost against a big team they can't lose against Barcelona again unless they want to be out of the title race. Real Madrid defense was porous against Atletico Madrid they have to work on it or face the hurt when they play Barcelona if nothing is done they may concede more goals against Barcelona.

I agree with you that Xabi Alonso is new to Madrid and needs more time. But Madrid is a team that fights to win every title, Champions League, La Liga and Copa del Rey. Last season Madrid could not win any title, even losing every El Clasico.
