Most people expected Real Madrid to lose to only Barcelona this season. But they fail to understand that there are other good sides in the La Liga. I watched the match between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid; it was obvious that Diego Simeone is tactically sound. He allowed the visitors to enjoy ball possession but Atletico capitalised on loose balls and set pieces to get their goals. Fans are also not pleased with the score line. How would a big team with some of the biggest players in the world lose with a score line of 5-2? Regarding the El Clásico, both teams are in great form, so it will be hard to predict who will win.       

That's definitely a match we're all waiting for. Watching El Classico is important. 13 goals by Atletico Madrid in their last 3 official games... And 3 wins in those of course. I'm not surprised with the score of the Frankfurt game though. They have a horrible defense already this season. 

However the one against Real Madrid was a masterpiece performance. Now their next game is against Celta away. First of all, Celta are too bad now. 0 wins in 7 games but they draw a lot. What do you think about this game? Will it be in favour of Simeone's team again? 1.83 odds have been given for their win by the way. Tempting to bet on while they are in form. But they are still Atletico Madrid which is full of surprises... I can't decide. BTTS @1.79 is also a risk but I might prefer it over their win for now.

But strong 5-0 win over Kairat in Champions League shows that their team spirit and attack are still extremely good especially with Mbappé scoring three goals. This victory suggests loss to Atlético was just one off mistake and Coach Xabi Alonso team immediately proved they can still play great attacking football you talked about. If Madrid keeps playing with that high level of energy and teamwork that small one point gap in league will quickly close. When you say the match they lost against Athletico Madrid would have been in the champions League then ask it the champions league is not important to them, I think as much as the laliga title is important to Realmdrid, the UEFA champions league is also important to them, they have defense issues, they should work on that because that the reason for their loss against Athletico Madrid I their last week meeting, the only problem anyone can point out or point at presently is Realmdrid defense, if Alonso can fix that then they are good for now, they have not been scoring good numbers of goals but the points keep coming atleast that is fair enough at this present time.

Yes they used long passes and high balls which completely beat Real Madrid short passing game. Going down by three goals put huge pressure on Real Madrid which made their already weak defense make more mistakes. Loss showed that Real Madrid must quickly fix their poor defense and get better at dealing with high balls before their next big game El Clásico because Barcelona will surely try to attack those same weak spots.

The defeat was even more disappointing because the Real Madrid team performance was not in a state to absorb so many goals. Suddenly, their defense collapsed, and Atletico Madrid players took advantage of it and scored so many goals. I can't believe that some people speak bad about him, his one of the few Real Madrid players I have ever known that doesn't complain, they just play whenever they are called upon to represent. Nacho Fernandez was one of Real Madrid players that I can remember never complains, not for playing time or even salary increment, not once have I read a news of his complaint. The new real Madrid is struggling a bit, their loss to atl Madrid showed how weak their defense has become which is not how the team used to be. Madrid had a good defense and they barely concede goals carelessly in previous seasons but now that's not the case. They have given Barcelona the opportunity to surpass them and now I think it would be difficult for them to get back to the first position
