The season has just began and so far Real Madrid has not been poor in anyway. Barcelona too do not want to lose any point because they are the current Champions. Both team are doing great, time will tell if they can keep up this pace till the end of the citizen. Or perhaps injuries and diminishing performance will befall them.

Both teams will continue to fight even harder this season, and it might not be much different from last season for both. But I really hope Real Madrid can put in a much more exciting performance this season so that Real Madrid can have a chance to win again in La Liga and also in other competitions like the Champions League. I believe Alonso will certainly be able to do his best this season for Real Madrid, so Real Madrid can avoid making any more mistakes that could cost them a defeat like the one that happened in yesterday's Madrid derby.

Alonso is still new to Real Madrid and he is also still in the adaptation stage so I think we still have many opportunities for Real Madird both in Laliga and in the Champions League because this is still at the beginning of the season, defeat does not mean they are not able to live it until the end, but one of the learning that must be taken from the bad defeat of Atletico Madrid.

I don't think that Xabi Alonso can do anything differently from what Carlo Ancelotti did last season because if Alonso is unable to win Atletico Madrid that isn't in a reliable form, is it Barcelona that is very much in form that they will win when they meet at El Clasico? Atletico Madrid's match against Real Madrid is just to show us that Alonso can only win underdogs confidently but cannot win when it involves a big game, that's just it. This defeat can also be the start of their downfall of the coach doesn't respond well to this defeat for sometime because other teams can used the template of that Atletico Madrid used in playing to defeat them to try and do the same. There defense lineup may not be weak but to me losing 5:0 is something that is not normal . It was a big blow on real Madrid and many was not expecting such a poor performance from real Madrid. The fact that they won kairat 5:0 doesn't really change the fact that there performance was very poor in the match they played against Atletico Madrid .The match between real Madrid and kairat in the champions League, if not everyone already know what the outcome of the match will look like. I can't believe that some people speak bad about him, his one of the few Real Madrid players I have ever known that doesn't complain, they just play whenever they are called upon to represent. Nacho Fernandez was one of Real Madrid players that I can remember never complains, not for playing time or even salary increment, not once have I read a news of his complaint. I don't see any fatal mistakes in Alonso's strategy in the derby match against Atletico Madrid, it's just that Simeone's playing strategy is much better than Alonso's. Real Madrid played with their best lineup in that match, dominating the match, but they lacked the creativity to create more goal chances. Mbappé, Vinicius, Bellingham, Arda Guler, Valverde and others were all on the pitch, but Atletico Madrid were truly effective that day.

Of course, the season is still very long and there's no need to worry too early. But if Real Madrid lose more points in their upcoming matches, they'll fall further behind. Barcelona lead the standings by 1 point, which isn't much, but the gap will be 4 points if Real Madrid lose their next match and Barcelona win.

You really made a very important point here, and it’s exactly the kind of conversation someone close to Yamal needs to have with him. Nobody is questioning his quality. At just 18yrs, we all can see how he’s already achieving things many players don’t manage in their entire careers. But this is also the stage where social media and ego can quietly destroy a young talent like him if there’s no proper guidance.

The truth is, he doesn’t need to prove anything to anyone online. His performances on the pitch are already speaking loudly enough for him . Messi never needed social media arguments or reactions, he earned respect by letting his football do the talking and I think that's what many Barcelona fans are expecting from Yamal too.

Real Madrid fans don't want happened last season to happen this season because they failed to win anything unlike real madrid that we know, and there fans are really eager for Real Madrid to win even if it's the la Liga this season but the season is just starting so they should give them more time. Alonso knows that is job is also at stake so he will have to prove a point this period and Madrid is still second on the table and that is not a bad position at all and Barcelona is just leading them with one point.

For now the table is still very well not looking organized, the top two are definitely going to be like this with both just swapping position as the season go through phases. But the other position are definitely going to see massive changes as the season progresses, teams like Elche do not look like they can stay that up and get European competitions but this is how we all look down on Girona and they actually had to do it.

The bottom half though is where the biggest surprise is coming from I was actually expecting the newly promoted clubs to be further down there but it is actually the supposed regular mid table teams, I seriously predict a change to this positions once after the October international break because it is then that the season will heat up

It's a big deal and it send a strong message to minor teams that they can take down any team that feels they are bigger. Wiyh the way Atletico Madrid was unstable, I knew one day they were going to use one team as a come back and that comeback is going to be a scape goat unknowingly Real Madrid was the scapegoat. They dealt with them with full satisfaction, I was loss of words that day because it was unexpected, I didn't see it coming from any angle.

Now that Barcelona has taken a lead, I hope Real Madrid don't lose another game from here. Any loss from here means they are not going to make it again. It's not good to lose game but it's better to draw and have 1 point than make loss and lastly what I fear is El clasico, Real Madrid doesn't look to stable to beat Barcelona, I don't know how they are going to do it but it's going to be hard.

I know that GF stands for Goals For, what does this GS stands for? Because I still can't wrap my head around as to what it means. Shouldn't it be GC which will simply mean, Goals Conceded. Yes, I fell that's what should be there because so far that's the number of goals those teams have conceded. Anyways, it's good for Barcelona as they are taken full advantage of the Real Madrid slip up.

Making the season unbeaten as he did at Leverkusen will be very difficult for Xabi at the moment, but ultimately losing one game shouldn't throw them off balance, especially after making a good comeback by defeating a club that, although far below their level in the Champions League should be enough for them to regain momentum for now.

What Xabi needs to do now is figure out how to stay focused, and the loss to Atletico should serve as a lesson to identify any weaknesses and address them to prevent a recurrence. I don't think that's too difficult for Xabi to manage at this point.

It's true that this could be easy but it could also be more difficult than anticipated. Still I believe Xabi is capable of handling this situation.
