Hansi Flick's men I believe will get an easy win in that game to still remain in contention for the league title. Barcelona are aiming to retain the league title at the end of the season but considering the impressive run we're seeing from Real Madrid, I think it'll be extremely difficult for Barcelona to achieve their aim.

I have to repeat this sentence, this season belongs to Real Madrid. Barcelona will have to accept this fact and maybe wait for next season to see if they will be able to drag the race. But this season will be very hard for them to meet up with Real Madrid’s consistency. Although they have already scored two goals in less than 15 minutes from the start of the game, which shows they will definitely take that 3 points so they can maintain the 5 point interval from Real Madrid at the top of the table. From all indications, Barcelona will have more goals today. Let’s wait and see how the game will end.

This is football and we can't just sit and anticipate on anything base on our own knowledge, football is different from what we know. Even though I'm a supporter of real Madrid, I'm truthful to say that, the season is still far and anything can happen. If we can remember last season at the mid, when real Madrid where 7 points difference with Barcelona and yet what happened, the season ended and Barcelona won the trophy, so let's call a spade a spade, as anything can happen. The season is still far to conclude. If we can remember what happened and the statement we where all giving to Atletico Madrid, and their performance in the early season, so many even tend to write them off, but now they are about 22 points if I'm not mistaken, of the league table. So that is how it is.

Yes, we're still in the midst of the league. Barcelona lost to Real Madrid, but if they win every match, they'll expect Real Madrid to drop points. They'll also have a home game against Real Madrid in the second half of the season. If they can capitalize on the home crowd and win that match, they could close the gap on Real Madrid and perhaps even reclaim the lead by that point. The key is to maintain consistent play in every match.

With the way i look at it this season, Barcelona's chance to win the title majorly relies on the fitness of key players (Yamal, Raphinha, Lewandowski and group) should any of those players get sidelined for long periods, it's game over for them. Even that home El clásico game won't matter. Real Madrid look pretty balanced.

Injuries to key players will certainly affect Barcelona chances of retaining the La Liga trophy. Moreover, this season Madrid appear to be much more solid than before, having successfully built an ideal squad depth. Currently, Madrid lead the standings by five points over Barcelona, a gap that is still realistic to close, but clearly not an easy task if Hansi Flick continues to lose his key players for an extended period.

Barcelona must remain consistent going forward and hope that Madrid slip up, that’s the only way to reduce the points gap. The El Clasico match in the second half of the season is still some time away, and its result may not necessarily determine who finishes at the top of the table. I think, if possible, Hansi Flick should devise an alternative strategy, to recruit new players in the January transfer window to gain additional strength.

Lamine Yamal put in a quite impressive performance in this match, managing to wreak havoc on Elche defense with his skill at distracting the Elche defenders. I watched the match  it was really an easy game for Barca. I had a bet on 3+ and combined it with a few other matches, but the 1.20 odds ruined my ticket. Looking at Barcelona’s current form, you could say they’re coming back to life, even though they’re still 5 points behind Real, which isn’t a small gap. If Real takes advantage of their chances and keeps winning, it’ll be hard for Barcelona to catch up. For now, La liga is really interesting. Honestly, i didn’t follow it much in previous years, but this season i started watching it closely, and i have to say I’m glad Villarreal is back near the top.

It's quite a good comeback and a bit unexpected but that's not enough to conclude that they are ready to face real Madrid besides they are five points behind, it might be a little to conclude but from my point of view Madrid has a high chance of winning the title this season. For them to win beat Madrid they must be of consistent and Madrid on the other hand won't mess cause they know what's at stake.

Football is unpredictable, and that’s what some people don’t understand. Because Real Madrid are top of the table with a higher points, it doesn’t mean that we can give them hope and choose them as favorites to win the title since there’s still more time before the league should come to an end, and we see that Barcelona have come back to their normal form. This proves that the injuries are what made their performance weak all this while.

But with the way their game went today, their performances were so fantastic they were able to concede 3 goals against Elche. Yeah, currently now Real Madrid is only ahead of Barcelona by only 5 points; that means if Barça can keep maintaining their performances in that way, they will soon catch up Real Madrid at the top of the standings.

When a club relies too much on a particular player the lapses shows a lot of times especially when the player gets injured or fro some reasons can't perform well...for a while Madrid has been struggling before they recovered from that perhaps those moments mbappe and vini weren't a hundred percent...let's hope they can be consistent from now till the season ends, I want them to win the title this season.

Good question, even if you already knew Real Madrid before Mbappé arrived as well as they do now. Because in Mbappé's position, there are actually several other players who can fill it, and it wouldn't be difficult for Real Madrid to find a replacement. Kylian Mbappe without doubt is the one scoring most of the goals but I don't think Vinicius Jr's form is declining. If for any reason Kylian Mbappe gets injured, I still expect the Real Madrid team under Xabi Alonso to win games convincingly. Real Madrid is a team that's filled with quality and talented attackers so even in the absence of the club's most prolific player this season, I still expect the team to score lots of goals and win games.

Xabi Alonso seems to have successfully adapted, and the same goes for several of their new signings, which has allowed Real Madrid to currently be in their best form. Of course, the season is still long, and anything can happen, but with the squad depth that Xabi Alonso has this season, it is highly likely that they will be able to maintain this impressive performance until the end of the season.
Barcelona are now five points behind, which gives Real Madrid a bit of comfort at the top of the table, but they still need to remain cautious. I think that if Real Madrid’s key players avoid injuries this season, they are very likely to win the trophy.

I'm sure Barcelona will make attempts to acquire him from Manchester United at the end of the year. He's fitted in very well with Barcelona's team and has embraced his role without any problems.
