Yes Real Madrid hasn't been so consistent with their performance even though they have been very good and have improved a lot under Xabi Alonso. I actually expect them to perform better in the champions league too but you know they are working under a new manager and even the manager needs time to adapt fully.

As for the Liverpool game they played in the champions league i didn't expect them to go to Anfield and win Liverpool so easily just because Liverpool are struggling with bad form losing matches. No matter how badly Liverpool perform they will definitely approach Real Madrid game with utmost seriousness and since they are the home team I expect a win or draw from them. It's really not Real Madrid fault that they lost, they went away and it's difficult to win games away so I can't blame them. I Will say I actually agree with you that Harry Kane will definitely be expensive to a Barcelona side that has been dealing with financial difficulties but with the recent transfers or ways that Barcelona actually goes to sign players I wouldn’t be surprised see them land Harry Kane.
