Madrid used three central defender against Elche I don't think new tactical but Madrid have leave by several central defender due injury from Eder Militao, Tchouaméni and Rudiger. Have several players at left winger position make Alonso playing Frans Garcia and Trent at left and right position, but this tactician so far not working yet until 53th minutes Madrid have conceded one goal. Several fatal mistake for this formation when put Vinicius Jr at the bench and Madrid less attempt to make shot on target.

Honestly, I'm surprised Elche held Real Madrid to a draw at halftime. I thought the match would be a walk in the park and they would be up by a goal at halftime, but that is not the case. Elche had a good first half, and they've taken the lead in the 53rd minute. Febas scored a beautiful goal to put the home side in front. I'll like to see how Real Madrid reacts, but a comeback is not looking likely.
