Real madrid need to win there match tonight because if they failed that will be tough for them to win the league title this season, Elche is a small club and I don't think they can challenge real madrid today madrid are going thereto win the game and get the three point home. Let see how the match will probably end they will be more goals in the match because Real Madrid goal scorer Mbappe will get more space against Elche since they don't have key defenders that can stop Mbappe in the pitch he will try and many goals in the match yo get more goals in the league and continue topping the highest goal scorer in the competition. Elche are playing at home and they will like to defense well in the game  because they are playing at home and they won't like to lose the match at home.

When I saw Rodrigo started the match, I asked myself what went wrong today that made Xabi start him or could it be because Vinicious hasn't been able to score goal since last month but I couldn't see the benefit of his appearance in today's match. Getting a 2:2 draw against 10-man Elche if you ask was a disappointing result for Xabi Alonso's Real Madrid. They've now failed to win any of their last two games in the Spanish La Liga and are now just one point better than Barcelona who occupy the second position of the league table. Real Madrid have been quite impressive this season but they've not been convincing enough to convince us that they're mentally prepared to win the league title this season. This was supposed to be an easy game for Real Madrid but they struggled through out the game and even came back from behind twice to secure that draw. They have the needed quality of players to dominate the Spanish league but that's not happening, what could be the main problem?

Well, first of all, they didn't lose any points, they gained 1 point losing means zero (0) points.

Regarding the match, it was clear the mistake was in the initial formation and the players who were up front. You can't put Rodrigo on when you need to get 3 points, you can't put Arda Guller to do defensive work when he's leading the attacks.

I liked how Elche approached the game; they're a promising team. Real Madrid is still in 1st place in the standings.

Madrid performance is clearly declining at the moment, and this should be a signal for Xabi Alonso to work harder going forward to avoid mounting pressure. Madrid lost to Liverpool in the Champions League, then were held to a draw by Rayo Vallecano, and most recently drew again in an away match against Elche in La Liga. These three matches should have been won easily by Madrid, but surprisingly, they failed to perform as expected.

Clearly, something is wrong, and I think it’s because the strategy implemented by Xabi Alonso has not been fully executed or understood by all his players. In addition, I don’t understand why Xabi Alonso chose to start today match without Vinicius, who we know is a player capable of making a decisive difference in the outcome. Barcelona will certainly be pleased if Madrid continues to drop points, as it gives them the opportunity to close the existing points gap.

Today match, real Madrid play was shambolic as they do not play anything that really impressed me, if this is the way they want to continue, I will say they are not ready for the competition this season again, I don't know why sometimes, real Madrid will play as if they are not ready to play. Right now they are 1 points ahead of Barcelona, and Barcelona with 1 point difference is never a gap as they can cross that with ease. Elche’s performance today is one that is worth commending. I didn’t see how they could have gotten off this unscaled but somehow, they were able to manage it. They handled their game plans beautifully and have got a point for that.

Where they had Real Madrid on the hook was making them chase after an equalizer. Immediately they were a goal down in the second half, Alonso wasted no time in bringing in some of the Real Madrid assets from the bench to deliver to Real Madrid the much needed chance at getting something from the game. As you would have hoped; Real Madrid scored but, Elche wasted no time in responding with another goal.

That was just what saved them, having Real Madrid to chase them until the final whistle. It was a well earned draw for Elche.

I believe if Elche was Barcelona Real Madrid would have taken this game to heart because they see Barcelona as a big threat to them getting this season's title, currently Real Madrid are only having 1 point separating them. They played with fire tonight by allowing Elche to get the first goal and making it 2 goals, it was going to be a problem for them but they felt relax and if the host team was very good at the back I believe that Madrid would have struggled more to get the 1st and 2nd goal. Now the competition will be more harder for the Whites because Barcelona will be breathing on their neck which will increase the pressure unless Barcelona drops point in their next game, to top it all about Madrid, they were just disappointing to me.

Atletico somehow always manages to win their matches. Today they beat Getafe with Duarte's own goal. Although if he hadn't touched it, Griezmann would have scored it behind him. Before the match, the odds for over 1.5 goals seemed very low and now we understand why. Actually in Atletico's matches this season there have always been at least 2 goals, except Osasuna match. This was the second one. They've secured their 5th consecutive win and they are currently performing very well.

How Real Madrid allowed themselves to be out played in the opening minutes of the game, they were even lucky not to have conceded in the first half. It was even bad that Real Madrid seem not to know exactly what they were playing because the seem lost and gave the ball away too cheaply while Elche were coming at them as if they were Real Madrid itself. After the first goal and when Vini came on Real Madrid attacked and I thought that's how they will take control and maybe equalise and possibly win. Just after few minutes of holding the ball and in control, Elche retook dominance again. With what I saw, I guess Real Madrid were lucky to go back home with a draw.

Real Madrid don't need to face a top team like Barcelona before they can take games to heart. Winning the Spanish La Liga requires a team to take every team very serious regardless of how less competitive they might appear to be. Real Madrid failed to win the today against Elche because they approached the game with the mindset of winning the game even if they fail to perform at the peak of their strength and that's where they got it all wrong. As a Real Madrid fan, it was very disappointing to see that Xabi Alonso's men couldn't win at Elche and are now above Barcelona with just 1 point. Madrid honestly need to improve if they want to win the league this season.

Stupid at Real Madrid. They played against Elche, but they couldn't win. What a disappointment.
Even Barcelona managed to easily beat Elche 3-1. Real Madrid? They could only draw and concede two goals.

Despite these statistics, Real Madrid's current attack is so poor. Their shots and shots on target are almost identical. Truly, Real Madrid is playing like a mediocre club.

I was expecting easy victory for Real Madrid but unfortunately they didn't even make any sense against Elche. Xabi Alonso was also take it easy and that's why he didn't maintain the league standings. Now they have only 1 points difference with Barcelona and to be honest only one match can change everything. This match clearly indicate us that Real Madrid is still trailing with lack of confidence and their performance is still need to more effort.....

Besides that if we talked about the upcoming schedule then Barcelona will face to Alaves after the UEFA champions league competition despite Real Madrid will be Girona. So if Real Madrid shows any weakness then probably Barcelona will never hesitate to take ahead for league title.
