Last night, none of the three teams from La Liga managed to secure a victory. Barcelona and Villarreal even suffered unexpected defeats with fairly large scores. Chelsea's 3-0 victory over Barcelona has made me quite pessimistic about Barcelona. Villarreal's defeat by Dortmund may not have been surprising, but the large score made it surprising nonetheless.

Bilbao remained solid by avoiding defeat and settling for a draw. However, I had hoped Bilbao would win that match.

Now, only Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid remain. I believe Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid must uphold La Liga's reputation by winning their upcoming UCL matches. If both fail to secure victories, it would be deeply disappointing.

2 defeats and 1 draw are surely problematic for them, but big problem is all teams fail to score any goal having good and quality attackers but they still fail to score any goal is also troubling them because they are in top ranks in La Liga but their performance was still on below average level. Barcelona humiliated by Chelsea with the score of 0-3 and Villarreal have 0–4 at the end some honourable end for Athletic Bilbao at Prague with the score of 0–0 but again main problem is all teams fail to produce any goal against opponents.

Tonight, Real Madrid is going to face Olympiacos where things could be not easy as they are also struggling but most chances they are capable of having better performance because they are having good offense which will allow them to have full three points.

But with that, La Liga does seem less competitive than other major leagues in Europe. So basically, the match in La Liga that will probably be watched a lot is only the El Clasico match and other matches may not be as much as the El Clasico match. But that is indeed the characteristic of La Liga and I think it is very difficult to change, because the problem is about the big difference in capital between the other teams in La Liga.

They can certainly outperform all teams by being able to spend and invest more money on purchases, but money is not the essential core of a team's functioning.
Having more money makes it easier for you to make decisive purchases, but the mentality on the pitch changes the outcome of matches.
Barcelona and Real Madrid have been the usual top-seeded teams for years. i sympathize with Atlético Madrid, who, despite a lower-performing economy, are very close to the top-seeded team. Just 3 points isn't a lot.

I think this season everyone is actually getting notice of this but this decline in the champions league or overall league has been there for such a long time, if you notice Barcelona hasn’t been anywhere near any the level they were since the departure of Luiz Enrique, it is actually two clubs that have been doing great in the champions from this Laliga side and they are Atletico Madrid; who themselves are a shadow of their old selves and then Real Madrid who are currently having some problems. In the past it’s this Spanish teams that actually dominated the European football but right now it’s not and one of the reasons why they were topped by premier league clubs is simply because English premier league clubs now play exciting football or rather possession based football and if you noticed it without having most of the ball the Spanish teams are usually shit.

I think Barcelona are actually not noticing their fall because of their recent Laliga and also Tebas thinks it’s because the premier league are actually over buying players

With a narrow points gap, I think both teams still have an equal chance, but El Real has a slight advantage.

In my opinion, Real Madrid will win La Liga this season, Barcelona has a lot of problems.
You saw in the Champions League they let Chelsea score three goals, a really bad match for them, they were practically dominated.
There's no point in having champions if you don't have a midfield that supports them (see Galatasaray who only throw good balls to Osimhen)

There are still a lot of matches left, it's only Matchday 14 of 38 is going on, it is still morning, and also Barcelona is not far behind in terms of points table, Real Madrid is in first position with 32 points and Barcelona is in second position with 31 points, the difference between them is only 1 point. So in this so early,it is better to not say that Barcelona will lose the title, there are still a lot of matches to play and there is a lot of time, they can fix their weaknesses, and the possibility of Barcelona losing the title is not very high.

They're growing, but not because Xabi isn't good. In fact, I think he's very, very good, and I think the problem is the players. There are many kids who, instead of playing, just sit around talking on social media and talk too much. There's a lack of leaders who can put you in line. Unfortunately, football has changed.

The Barcelona team seems to be in one of his worst stage ever, the only good thing is all the teams have this kind of "bad" stages along the season and is much better to have this problems early in the season and not in the key stages of the torunament when a lose can take you out of any tournament, Atletico Madrid for example had his bad start and now seems like they recover his form.

Is like you are referring to what happened to Barcelona in the champion league yesterday right, even Chelsea use to fall victim to such mistake to collect red card. If not the red card that occur in that game I don't think Barcelona would have lost that game, because they have the same ball possession with Chelsea in the 45 minutes but that red card make Barcelona failed to secured a single goal from Chelsea.

For la Liga league tournament, Barcelona performance is not bad yet,  because they are in second position with the same points with Real Madrid, which it will be very easy for Barcelona to take that first position from Real Madrid if they lose their next game.

The top 3 teams in the league all have easy fixtures in hand this weekend.

Barcelona - Alaves
Atletico Madrid - Real Oviedo
Girona - Real Madrid

Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are the ones I'm confident about the most here. Their forms recently have been impressive in the La Liga. No problems should be seen.

This doesn't mean I don't trust Real Madrid. But they are just the least trusted for me temporarily. You know how they made simple loss of points for a couple of weeks. Hopefully they get back on track again.

Madrid will have to play carefully. They have failed to win in their last two matches in La Liga. They also lost in the last match of the Champions League. So naturally, Madrid is under some pressure at the moment.

Yes it's true that real Madrid and Barcelona have the largest economical power in the Spanish laliga, and they decides and calls all the shot on the top players that are brought into their respective club, but when looking at atletico Madrid, I believe that the only reason they are not competing for the title is because of the fact that the hierarchy of the club is very much ok for them to be a mediocre club, as long as they keep qualifying for a place in the uefa champions league and the revenue gotten from it doesn't stop coming, they are only interested in making money, not gunning for glory, if not, they would have been up there competing and they might have even won the league more than once since the tenure of Diego Simone if they were not a mediocre club.

Money isn't everything, it certainly has the power to decide on purchases. On the other hand, discovering new talent in local leagues doesn't require money, but it does require qualified personnel capable of recognizing talent and advancing their growth to become champions.
Atletico Madrid is a minor club certainly, but it has all the potential to become a great team even without having the same economy as Barcelona and Real Madrid, the capabilities are not to be underestimated.

Barcelona will bounce back to it form if the coach change his tactics, many people thinks Barcelona can survive if they don’t leave the high line football they are playing, Barcelona has suffered many defeats this season because of the high line and the high line affects them when they play against big clubs, Chelsea use the high line to break Barcelona defense in yesterday game and if not for the VAR, Chelsea will score more than 4 goals in the game. Many Barcelona fans are complaining about Araujo red card, not knowing that the high line is one of the things that is affecting them.

Apart from the high line tactics, which tactics Hansi Flick knows how to play again? Because since he arrived at Barcelona he has not played any tactics again if not the high line, Barcelona might be the favourite to win the La Liga title this season or being a contender in La Liga but they are not even among the contenders to win the Champions League this season.

At least we can now all go online and not see silly statement from a certain Barcelona that thinks his the best in the world. He forgot so easily that football is something to be bragging about. You might be in form today and tomorrow you not. I can remember last season, Yamal was so confident that they can take on and  win any team, he once said that even if Barcelona were 2 or 3 goals down, they will still comeback to win that match. He thought it was going to always be a bed of roses, forgetting that form isn't what to brag about. Yesterday against Chelsea, we all saw how he played, absolutely nothing. His even lucky that before the match he didn't go to social media to do what he normally does. He would have been cooked online by now the same way Cucurella cooked him last night.

Barcelona is in crisis like all the other Spanish teams and you can see it from how the championship is going, there could certainly be a change in the next few months, but if they continue like this they have no intention of moving forward and they will certainly have a bad run in Europe and the championship will cause problems.

Definitely Barcelona will not let all of this just happening without them doing something about it, I am optimistic about  their moves to resolving all of this issues and crises around the team. They have had times where they had to struggle like this and somehow they scale through that season, so I am believing they will find their way around it this season.

The discontent between Xabi and players are growing according to rumours. I am not saying there is one, it's a rumour after all and no player came out and said anything publicly but these rumours do not come out of nowhere, there must be a reason for it. Twitter was basically shaken by a ton of players saying the same thing and I feel like there is a reality to it.

I've always thought there are disagreements within the team, obviously they don't make them public, but it's also normal that results and some matches really should be cancelled due to ridiculous performances.
They have a team that has exceptional levels of preparation, but then in practice it doesn't reflect everything.
They hide a storm that could prove fatal, if they don't find harmony they could lose everything they've done so far.
Preparation and performance are strongly influenced by team spirit.

So apparently the player and the club failed to reach the agreement. His current contract expires in 2027.
According to the linked article, he's currently making £15.8 million ($20.9m) a year, was offered £17.5 million ($23.2m) but wanted £26 million ($34.4m). Reportedly there are also some tension between Vinicius and Xabi Alonso, so maybe it's for the best if he leaves. I'm not a big fan of him anyway.

It's a combination of things. One reason is that Xabi is playing way too offensive, which means that even defense is high up and that leaves gaps on defense when running back, another reason is because they have tons of injuries at defense which is causing them to have issues because not the ideal player is playing at the moment and the last reason I can think of, is the fact that they are playing against teams that park the bus which means they are mostly attacking so they have to figure out a way to defend the counter attacking but they do not have fast players anymore on defense and need some quick ones.

When you combine all these together, then it causes some problems on defense easily, and even one talented player could score easily like happened in this game.

Well, all Spanish football is highly offensive, we're not talking about a nation that makes defense its way of playing.

So let's say their philosophy is tight passing and precise passing, and attack-oriented. In fact, watching La Liga matches is a joy to watch.

I am very disappointed with the match between Barcelona and Chelsea. I bet on Barcelona that Barcelona will win. But I never imagined that Barcelona will perform so badly. I would have been very happy if Barcelona had been able to score 1 or 2 goals but they did not manage to score a single goal. Barcelona need to fill the gaps of all the injured players. Because if this continues, it will never be good for Barcelona.

No, Real Madrid's players are very good despite their youth, that's not an excuse or a conclusion for the players' problems, it's clear that Xabi Alonso hasn't yet found the key to controlling all of his players, setting the geo and also instilling the rhythm of their match strategy.

I think there needs to be more responsibility from Xabi Alonso, such as training the egos and mindsets of his players, not just the match skills and physicality of his players, this is a way to control young players, because by uniting egos they can have chemistry.

Leading a big team like Real Madrid is not an easy thing, especially with so many interests in it, there must be resistance in their management too, they can't just make any decision.

It was one of those nights you just shake your head at. The performances from the Spanish sides were far from what anyone hoped for, and seeing them struggle so badly in front of goal made it even more disappointing.

I thought Barcelona would show a stronger mentality against Chelsea, so that result hit harder than expected.

Right now, all I’m hoping for is that Real Madrid can lift the mood a little. Their attack still has enough quality to make a difference, and if there’s any team that can bounce back from a bad night for the league, it’s them. I really want them to come through with a solid performance and take the three points. At least give us something positive to hold on to after everything.
