I am not writing off any Lalliga team yet, but I have noticed one thing among Lalliga clubs, and that is the fact that they find it difficult to beat England teams, immagine Liverpool and Madrid the other day, Liverpool that's not in good form won them, and also immagine Barca vs Chelsea, I was surprised that Chelsea won them.
These are what I see that makes me think England teams will go further in the champions league this season than the Lalliga teams.

La Liga teams are still worthy of consideration by every team from other leagues in this season's Champions League. A team like Atletico Madrid managed to win against Inter Milan yesterday, even though two other La Liga teams lost against Premier League teams, as you mentioned. By looking at their head to head record in their past five meetings, Elche has won three, while getafe has won only once and they drew once, so their is a higher probability of elche winning this game that will be played tonight, though nothing is 100% guarantee when it comes to football, but I would be putting my money on elche since they have a more superior head to head record and are also in a better form than getafe.
As for your prediction of over 2.5 goals, I think that it is very risky because by looking at that five previous meetings, it was only once they played 3-1 which was the only over 2.5 game they played, so under 2.5 or unders 3.5 is a more logical choice than over 2.5 goals that you intend going with.

Even with all of their problems, they have still remain productive quiet well and that makes it sometimes even difficult to really notice they have issues until it escalates. I will not be surprised if they actually win a trophy even with the crisis, Madrid is not such a team that halts their ambitions owing crises, it may affect how well they achieve that, but they are going to make sure to gwte a very good attempt at it.

Normally with gambling always does comes a lot of uncertainties and so you do not have to be exactly certain before you can place a bet, most others who place bets are not doing it from a place of certainty but from a place of assertion and hopes, teams like this with an almost average performance and productivity does feels difficult to predict and so I rather not place a bet on them than just gamble and probably loose money.

The problem seems to be persisting because that very news keeps on coming out. If there's no problem in the dressing room then it would have been addressed and resolved by now. Few players are on the managers side while the other few are not on his side and now with the recent reports of him having issues with the fitness coach means more enemies for Alonso in the club. This year everything seems completely different. It doesn't seem like, it used to be when you could see a lot of Spanish teams around Europe. Now there are a lot of changes and this is being seen both in the La Liga teams and in the English teams who aren't doing very well.

Real Madrid was the one that didn't prepared well in that game but they gave Elche opportunity to play Real Madrid like small club in the tournament. Am not saying that Elche is not a strong club, but for Real Madrid to seat on the first position in the la Liga league table show that Elche is a weak club to Real Madrid in any tournament but Real Madrid made some mistakes in that game that make people to rate Elche as the best club in that game.

If Elche can still prepare themselves the same way they prepared to played with Real Madrid, I guess they will win this game  to gather more supporters, because people like club that is consistent in winning so that they will be sure of their prediction.
