It's clear that both teams are not in their best form this season but what baffles me is how they both keep being the top teams challenging for the title regardless of their performance and form.

The game is now level all thanks to a penalty but Real Madrid are not really doing anything much to win the game, they are not creating so many chances. Vinicius has had a couple of chances to score but hasn't really done anything positive with them. I doubt if they are winning this game, it's almost the end of the match. Shame on Real Madrid, you had 90 whole minutes to get the job done and stay top with a point at least. Three matches, three draws. How can you afford to lose six whole points in three consecutive matches and you want people to take you serious. This is one of those things that will make them to lose the league. These three matches were all simple matches that the will gotten all nine points without much stress but they went on to draw all three. Big shame. In conclusion Xabi was a waste of time. His backpasses in the first half were unclear and pointless. Then in the second half, the game became even more chaotic. Imo, Xabi was too theoretical and forgot that his tactics were too time consuming. If you watched the first half, the crowd was frustrated.

Both Barcelona and real Madrid have been faced with some challenges this season, starting from the beginning of the season till now that it have been obvious and clearly understandable that they need to work on there  deficiency now that it is not yet later. When Barcelona played Chelsea in the champions league, it was like a work over game for Chelsea because they dominated and possessed the game beyond imagination while Barcelona lost the vision and capacity to Make it work, not only on that but also found it difficult converting chances till the end of the game. This draw was perfect, Barca stayed on top. Right before half time, Mbappe's goal got was disallowed for handball and right after that Girona scored. If Real had gone into the break ahead, they probably would've had an easier match, but instead they fell behind. Aside from Mbappe's penalty, Real didn't score. Madrid is not very good at the moment, I don't know what causes them to be like that, but I am quite sure that they cannot have good cooperation, we know that Madrid players are very good in all lines and are famous players and have abilities but I don't understand why they play inconsistently and seem to prioritize their own egos on the pitch.

What they have been avoiding has finally happened, they were avoiding dropping point and now they dropped 2 big point, with Barcelona on top I'd say let the battle for the title begin again. To me Madrid has never been the favorite to win the la Liga title right from the start and now they have given Barcelona the go ahead to top which I think will be hard for them to drop. No matter how small the point gap is I still think it will be hard for Barcelona to drop point for Madrid to top again, let's say it will take something bigger to pull them down.

These vital names and players will be back for Barcelona and they will overtake Real Madrid on the La Liga table of they don't make good use of their chances to winning more important game. This night was a disgrace, what would they have done if not for that penalty won by Vinicius Jr. And having all goals from Kylian Mbappe is a big issue,  Madrid use to be the club with more than one player scoring, I don't like it is centered about one name.
