Yea, its very visible that they are struggling, if they keep losing they can kiss the title race good bye. Barca on the other hand is seizing every opportunity to move up the table and now they are there i can flick will want his boys to have a smooth ride to the end. If madrid dont come back to their wining ways and fast, the laliga title race may prove diffcult for them this season.

The gap between Barcelona and Real Madrid is already four points, so another draw would mean Barcelona would be comfortably ahead of Real, and I think Alonso understands that this can't be allowed to happen. But for some reason, Real Madrid's attack has been deteriorating in matches against Girona or Rayo Vallecano, another goal could have changed everything. Athletic Bilbao conceded a lot against Barcelona and Dortmund, so Real Madrid could also score a few goals today at least, I hope so.

The only hope real madrid has today is if they can score multiple goals against Bilbao but I doubt if that one going to happen because they might use home advantage over them and besides real Madrid are not in a perfect form. Real Madrid and Barcelona are like most favorite candidates for La Liga title as they are two main dominators in this league history. However they have to compete with two other clubs Atletico Madrid and Villareal as these competitors are in top four with not too big differences with Barcelona and Real Madrid. Atletico Madrid are especially challenging as they already won two La Liga titles with Simeone as their head coach and have better ability to make surprise than Villareal.

Barcelona and Real madrid are the only teams in the La Liga title race until the end of the season. Teams like Villarreal and Atletico madrid have done well at the beginning of the season but have gradually fallen behind. Villarreal and Atletico Madrid have been performing well this season. And we think these  two teams will  also fight for the title. But the chances of that are slim.
Atletico madrid lost their last match against Barcelona. As a result, the team is 6 points behind barcelona. Even if Villrreal wins their next match, they will be 2 points behind barcelona. Although Villarreal is in excellent form now, it will be difficult for  them to continue their winning streak in the long run.

Villarreal's next game will be against Getafe, who in my opinion have a good chance of causing Villarreal to drop points. I say this because Getafe is a team with a good defense. In their last 5 games, they performed very well defensively, conceding only one goal at most in each of their last 6 matches. And note that in those 6 games, Getafe played against Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid, and even against these two strong teams, they only conceded one goal in the game against Real Madrid and one in the game against Atletico Madrid. That's why I believe Getafe could manage a draw against Valencia. Now, my concern is with Real Madrid; I wouldn't be surprised if they drew today's game, and Barcelona fell further behind in the standings.

I laughed in this match when Lewandowski took the penalty kick, I don't understand how he hit the ball so high. Maybe he was scared and kicked the ball with extra pressure towards the goalpost. But later in this match Barcelona team became more aggressive, Barcelona was not supposed to win this match by a large margin. I predicted that Barcelona team would win but by a small margin, but Atletico Madrid team performed this match with enough competition but in the end could not survive in the competition.

Yeah I saw the penalty Lewandowski took.  It was simply horrible indeed... Maybe he lost his balance or slipped there. He scored 8 penalties and missed 1 last season. But so far he missed 2 out of 3 penalties this season.

I cannot predict anything for today’s match, I think Real Madrid will start very strong and leave no chance for Bilbao to think of winning. They had three neutral games in LaLiga which also gives any team a chance to snap some points from the whites.

I'm very pessimistic about Real Madrid right now after seeing their performance in the last few matches, and even their poor results will certainly have a major impact on the team's mentality and confidence.

Visiting Bilbao will certainly be very difficult for Real Madrid, as Bilbao has a strong team this season, while Real Madrid is currently in a slump, making it possible for Real Madrid to fail to win again.

Xabi likely considered Arda inconsistent performance in recent matches. I've personally noticed that he had some performance issues.
What surprised me was why Valverde was placed in Arda position, when it was clear that Endrick (who hadn't played at all) and Rodrygo, or even Brahim Diaz, could have dominated that position. Perhaps this is the answer: Rodrygo really needs to go soon.
Looking at the current lineup, I'm a little skeptical about Madrid.

I never for once have feelings for Lewandowski when it comes to penalty playing, he's not longer a younger man, he's old enough, although despite that he's still playing accurately, i wasn't surprised of his missed penalty because this isn't his first time, However, the match between Barcelona and Athletic de Madrid was a nice turnout to Barcelona yesterday. In that match, Athletic de Madrid would had more goals than that, but they were missing a lot of goal opportunities,the same goes to Barcelona. If we look at the history of their last five meetings, Real Madrid have only managed one win, three draws, and one loss. So Real Madrid will need to concentrate fully in this match, and Xabi Alanso must truly learn from his mistakes against Girona when he fielded the wrong lineup and made substitutions when the team was in a stalemate. This will be an interesting match to watch. Bilbao has home advantage, and Real Madrid is motivated to end their poor run of three matches and continue to reduce the points gap to Barcelona.

The last three matches in the Spanish League Real Madrid have draw in a straight, apart from winning in the UEFA champions League, so I'm still Sense of they break the chain or sprite of draw in to match  Ath Bilbao, i know that it is not that very easy to win a particular match but I'm seeing the possibility of Real Madrid  winning Ath Bilbao today from two goals up because if Real Madrid can't be victorious today and Villarreal get the opportunity of winning their own match, that means Real Madrid will come down to third position in the league table, because right now Real Madrid is using one point to pass Villarreal , at such Real Madrid deserve winning today.

IDK what's going on with Real Madrid lately, it seems like they're having hard time scoring goals & getting full points in matches. They got 3 draws in a row:

1. Rayo Vallecano 0 - 0 Real Madrid
2. Elche 2 - 2 Real Madrid
3. Girona 1 - 1 Real Madrid

An interesting fact about all three matches is that Real Madrid played as the away team. Today's match against Athletic Bilbao will also be an away match for Real Madrid, somehow I feel they will get another draw. However, given their disadvantage in the La Liga standings, they should wake up & start fighting for all three points. For that reason, I've placed $124 bet on Real Madrid to win.

Today, Real Madrid has a match against Athletic Club, considering the opponent, Real Madrid will start the match ahead of Athletic Club.

I'm back with another game to bet on. I'm picking Madrid's game to bet, but avoid to bet on them. The reason is clear they had very poor performances in the previous games. Getting draw three times in a row enough to make me feel so skeptical on them.

So I personally think Real Madrid is experiencing internal problems. This has affected their performance in several recent matches including the current match between Athletic Bilbao vs Real Madrid. Mbappé is really a terror upfront, the ATH defence has been finding difficult to hold him down. Although this is an improvement judging from last season how Madrid were finding very difficult to play ATH,  Madrid are more composed now when compared to last season, although this is just the first half and you don't know what the second half will bring but so far Madrid have been doing well with their composure.

If Xabi doesn't win today's match against Bilbao, I'm very positive That Rea Madrid is going to sack him. Somebody was saying they so far Real Madrid has played only 14 games, they won 10, draw 3 and lose one but it seems a lot of people don't know that Real Madrid is a highly competitive team. They don't appreciate draw and if you want to see the other side of the club, lose and you will get it. Xabi knows very well the demands of this club before he accepted the job.

From my game, I'm expecting atleast 2 goals from Real Madrid, that's possible but what I don't want to see happening is if Bilbao are able to attack Real Madrid very hard. Defense is there problem, if it's about scoring goal they have the numbers but Atletic are the ones playing at home, they can pull that off and used that to get back Real Madrid. I'm not convinced about their early goals, I have seen this many times in matches they draw and they started this way.

It's still very good but for now I'm still a little confused with Xabi what they want to try with some out-of-position players even though it's still very good.

Valverde's new position = Unlocked
he is currently a winger. He's very good everywhere but at the end of the day it's still a bit confusing for Xabi as he's still confused about where to put some of the players.

We've seen this kind of change so often that in almost every game Madrid try to explore some of their players.
Jude, Camavinga, Valverde are the most likely to be played in any position. While this is good, it can also leave some players confused.

Even though the results have now been felt with quick goals, Xabi should be able to emphasize their formation more because in this case I think it can be a very important thing to emphasize.
