It's a very complicated situation that Real Madrid is going through, 5 games and only 1 win.

Real Madrid's attack isn't good either. Despite Mbappé scoring many goals, overall their attack isn't strong. In 16 games they've only scored 32 goals, something Barcelona did much better, scoring 47 goals in 16 games. It's simply a huge difference in numbers. I've been saying this for years: if Real Madrid continues to rely on Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo, the team will eventually collapse because they aren't goal-scoring players. Mbappe was phenomenal, Bellingham the midfield maestro, Camavinga the key left back because he possesses some skills, agility, speed, and the ability to build play smoothly, and Alexander-Arnold has magical passes that are like luxurious gifts to his teammates. Guys I wonder why we are discussing about this four point this early in the season when Real Madrid has got about 23 games still left to collect the first position back and with their depth and home form at the Bernabeu stadium, they should be able to expedite their performance level so they can easily bounce back to the top of the table standing but if they do the mistake of allowing Barcelona to still close more gaps with them by winning more games and real madrid probably missing more games or draws, it will become a big issue to the chances of the real madrid guys in the long run and am afraid for them so they need to seriously work hard every match of the day.

No one is saying Real Madrid has lost out in the title race the fact is that they are not getting better and for a team as big as they are to start playing draws 2 straight weeks and lose at home to a weak team it calls for concern cause the 4 point gap may increase to 6-10 points in the coming weeks if they fail to address the issue in the team. The new coaches of football is not something that the players in Real Madrid are taking it easy becoming used to because it has shown a couple of times how they have lost and dropped points from drawing games that they should be winning. I have stated to think it possible that Real Madrid will go through the season and not win anything  because it looks like the La Liga is for Barcelona and the Champions league is for another team.

He may not get sacked too, talking about the coach, they waited to get him, I mean Real Madrid on signing Xabi, they will give him time.

It was just the opposite that happened in that match. Yes we guessed that Real Madrid is the favorite team to win and to score maybe two or three goals or it will be the goals difference. However, Celta Vigo made Real Madrid suffer in two ways: losing the three points and losing the services of two players because of the red cards.
I feel sorry for the people that counted on Real Madrid in their bet. It became a really unstable team these days, worst than Liverpool sometimes. Now Villarreal is one point away from Real Madrid and they are lacking one game which could make Real Madrid regretting the opportunity to return to the first place.

what an embarrassing loss for Madrid xabi is really going through a difficult time with the team and I don't see him making any progress anytime soon. Real Madrid needs a new coach because the failures of the team is getting out of hand...they are not consistent at all this seaosn, they don't have a chance to contest fot anything title this season because they are in a bad form compared to previous seasons

It's 4 points that Real Madrid fall behind Barcelona with, which we can say is not that many points for Real Madrid not to catch up to Barcelona before the season ends.

I am very disappointed with Real Madrid performance this time, they put in their worst match since Xabi Alonso arrived as coach, many chances were wasted due to poor finishing which resulted in a humiliating defeat at the Santiago Bernabeu. Williot Swedberg became a nightmare for Real Madrid at the Bernabeu, his two goals against Courtois allowed Celta Vigo to steal full points at Madrid headquarters.
Real Madrid next match will be against Pep Guardiola Man City in the Champions League, who are in scintillating form having scored 11 goals in their last three games. If their performance continues like this, their hopes in the Champions League will also become slimmer.

This is the real picture of Real Madrid as they did last season. A shameful defeat at home. I think most football fans did not expect Real Madrid to lose 2-0 to a team like Celta Vigo. The team in trouble cannot dominate the matches they have in their favour and are likely to be eliminated from the tournament. Celta Vigo took the lead with an impressive goal in the second half. The first shame for Real Madrid but while continuing to try to score goals, they were seen to be aggressive and angry. Fran García was sent off in the 64th minute of the match with a red card. They was not getting any chances and continued to try desperately to score. Another defender Álvaro Carreras saw another red card in extra time. Real Madrid were reduced to a team of 9 men and another goal conceded and left the field with a defeat. It was a shameful match for Real Madrid.

This post it's looks sarcastic when compared to the match last night. I don't know how this praise happened when they lost badly 0-2 in front of fans!.
I admit, Mbappe has become a machine goal for this season, and come as top scorer with 16 goals, but that doesn't mean anything when Real Madrid position was shift by Barcelona. Yes, the team look better, they are solid, and not many drama happen for this season. Xabi has succeeded in building team more solid, but there is a big hole which easy to attack; they are negligent because of euphoria.

I am sure Mbappe's position will shift immediately by Ferran Torres; there are only 5 different goals on top score.

It is not always that we blame Xabi Alonso for Real Madrid's defeat; sometimes the players should take the blame. Only two players played as if they wanted to win the game. The rest of them were too reluctant with the ball; they believe they are better than Celta Vigo today. The two players today are Arda Guller and Mbape. The rest, I do not know what they are doing. The worst part of it all is that they lost to a poor-performing club at their Bernabeu without scoring a goal to cheer up their fans at least in one moment of celebration.

A lot of members are dragging me in this thread after supporting Real Madrid to win today, but they failed to. To be honest, I am very disappointed. This was a game I never expected Real Madrid to have lost. The most decorated club in the world has lost its value.

The thing that i worried finally happened. Madrid dropped important points against Celta. I'm getting spechless by seeing how terrible their defense are. They played too comfortably and forget the way how to win. There are also too many experiments made by Xabi in this game.

Don't blame Xabi Alonso entirely for this defeat. His efforts certainly weren't enough to win the match. Several factors were at play in their camp, which led to their defeat at home. Xabi Alonso's philosophy in the match was indeed winning in terms of possession, but the scoreline was different, especially with Francisco Garcia's red card, which certainly changed the course of the match slightly, even though the visiting team's goal came before the Real Madrid player received a red card.
However, the red card certainly gave Celta Vigo some freedom to adjust their play, leading to another goal late in the match.

With this defeat, Real Madrid's position is now threatened by Villarreal, who will play next week at Levante. A win for Villarreal will undoubtedly take Real Madrid's current position and potentially move closer to Atletico Madrid, who currently sit in fourth place in the standings.
