I have never been this disappointed with Real Madrid. Because, well, they should have won this match no matter what the circumstances. Anything they need to do to win that league, now is the time to start doing it, they don't have time to relax anymore

Well, if Barcelona managed to turn things around before, then Real Madrid could do the same again. But it is quite funny to see these two teams, Barcelona and Real Madrid, constantly experiencing ups and downs in their performance, always in opposite directions. When Barcelona improves its performance, we always see Real Madrid experiencing a decline. And conversely, when Real Madrid experiences an improvement in performance, we see Barcelona experiencing a decline. The two are like two poles that can never come together. I'm really glad with the type of mentality barcelona has been displaying recently, and I am applauding them as they really deserve to win the league this year. Real Madrid has some decent players and a decent coach, but the motivation isn't there anymore at this point. You can't compare this to the previous years they were in front with maybe 5-6 points. They could have beat their recent opponents in the last 3 laliga games and gotten ahead even more, but in the end, got just 3 points because some players didn't give in 100% of their efforts. At this point, I can't say anything more or less.. It'll be a miracle if they can hold on to their position henceforth as Villarreal isn't joking around.

I'm really glad with the type of mentality barcelona has been displaying recently, and I am applauding them as they really deserve to win the league this year. Real Madrid has some decent players and a decent coach, but the motivation isn't there anymore at this point. You can't compare this to the previous years they were in front with maybe 5-6 points. They could have beat their recent opponents in the last 3 laliga games and gotten ahead even more, but in the end, got just 3 points because some players didn't give in 100% of their efforts. At this point, I can't say anything more or less.. It'll be a miracle if they can hold on to their position henceforth as Villarreal isn't joking around.

There is still lots of games to play and beside its a four point difference and remember Barcelona themselves can still have some setback despite the fact they are doing exceedingly well this period. Real Madrid need to work on their winning mentality as that would definitely give them an edge over other smaller team and avoid defeats like yesterday night game against celta vigo, with this kind of performance I would definitely not play them to win even in the champions league.

When they down 10 men, they played with mental urgency that pushed them to move up and down everytime. I'm wondering why they showed their intention to fight after the red card.

It's very weird to see they did nothing when they have eleven players, then started to press when they went down with 10 men. They will have no excuse to play like that in their upcoming game against City, otherwise, they will be humiliated.

Yes, even before the match against Celta, Real had problems with their defenders, and it is very unfortunate that Militao got injured again, but he keeps having the same injury come back. Currently, I see Barcelona as the best contender for the title because they look so serious and stronger than Real Madrid, Barcelona is topping the table already and real Madrid was defeated yesterday, this also wide the points gap between them and Barcelona. There are still many matches left and Real Madrid points are not satisfactory compared to the smaller teams and they are in second place in the table. The gap with Barcelona is still tolerable. Barcelona will go 3 points ahead with a win against Osasuna in the next match. This means that they will be 7 points ahead of Real Madrid. If Real Madrid does not win against Alavés in the next match, it will be difficult for them to survive in this league. A few weeks ago, Real madrid were  5 points ahead of barcelona and now they are 4 points behind barcelona. Barcelona have won all of their last  5 matches. On the other hand, real madrid have won only one match. They have drawn three matches and lost one.
The title race has become more intense. It is unlikely that barcelona will continue such  a winning streak throughout the season. So it is  possible for Real madrid to regain the top spot in the table. But for this , they will have to perform consistently well . Real madrid are currently out of form. Several defenders have also suffered injuries. So it will be very  difficult for madrid to regain the top spot in the table.
