My predictions about Atletico Madrid, Barcelona and Real Madrid this week:

- Atletico Madrid should be able to defeat Valencia home. They really need this win after 2 losses in a row. Maybe you can say those were tough matches but they should have been able to fight back at least.  

- Barcelona have a really easy one against Osasuna at Camp Nou. I just expect nothing different than a win by at least a two-goal gap.

- Real Madrid are away against Alaves. Of course it is obvious who should win. But recently things are really shaky there so I would still avoid betting on Real Madrid for a while.

Valencia are unbeaten in their last four matches. Draw three and win one. Atletico Madrid have lost their last two matches. Valencia will aim to draw this match. It is easy to predict that Valencia will play defensively. Atletico Madrid must win. But the team's forward players are not in good form. So securing 3 points is going to be a bit difficult for Atletico Madrid.

Barcelona are in great form. We have not seen them lose points in any match for a long time. Not being able to play consistently well. Osasuna is not a weak team but Barcelona has more chances to win. Both the defense and the forwards are very strong in Barcelona right now.

Real Madrid matches are difficult to predict. 7 players of the squad are injured. 6 defenders will also be absent for this match against Alaves. It is impossible to predict how Madrid will perform in such conditions.

Valencia may be unbeaten in four, but deep down they're still a team destined for the lower leagues, betting that Hugo Duro and the odd ball bounce goes in their favour. That's why we haven't seen them drop a lot of points the last few games - they've been adding boring repeatable weapons on top of the nice football.

It is exactly the reason why Real Madrid are in this situation. The disarray between the players and Xabi Alonso recently... They aren't just contented with his ideas as it seems. Considering the way they play, they aren't still adapting well.

Real Madrid might not survive this tonight, City came prepared although I was a bit surprised when they took the lead though Rodrygo opener, but it wasn't long and city responded and minutes later it was already 1:2 in favour of Manchester city. I really want Real Madrid player to put up a fight and get at least a draw so that Xabi Alonso won't be sacked, since it's already known that he will be sacked should they lose this match, so getting a draw might give him another day to fight and save his job.

It was their 2nd loss in the league stage of the UCL, but Real is still doing OK. Currently they are 7th in the table and will have no trouble to advance to the next stage.

Its definitely becoming more complicated for Madrid as the season goes on, especially with the recent run of reults. For a club of thier stature, the standards are very high same with expectations, wining one major title at least is of importance at for them and considering they are preforming badly i wonder how that will go. That said, the point gap still leaves room for recovery, i mean its still Madrid and we have seen them turn seasons before (although then we would admit they had a different set of talents then). If they dont improve soon the pressure on xabi will worsen because Madrid progress without Silverware iis rarely enough.

Why did they sack Carlo Ancelotti and put belief in a young coach Xabi Alonso and why should they sack Xabi now?

Real Madrid must be very realistic before they sign a contract with Xabi Alonso as it's unrealistic to win titles in a first season with this young coach in La Liga and Champions League while competitors are very strong like Barcelona in La Liga and other big clubs in Champions League. Xabi Alonso generally does acceptable management in Real Madrid. There are bad matches, there is disappointment but I think Real Madrid need to give him time, at least a first season together, in order to do his squad development, and they can judge his management job and quality in a next season.
