I still can't understand the reason behind Xabi Alonso's frequent rotation and strategy in different matches. If the reason is to find a good strategy with the right players in the starting XI, I think the strategy when defeating Athletic Club was reliable because each player could connect well without giving the opponent the slightest gap. At the start of the season he managed to impress everyone after Real Madrid managed to achieve consecutive wins in La Liga, after losing to Atletico on September 27, Real Madrid returned to the gas with four consecutive wins, after that Real Madrid slowly lost momentum which gave rise to much speculation about his future at Real Madrid.

Xabi must be more confident in his abilities because Real Madrid was previously on a positive path, he must take advantage of the opportunity given by the club's top brass to prove to everyone that he is still worthy of serving as Real Madrid's coach.

It's a long process to find the best format for Real Madrid, Xabi is working on it and it's true that the format against Bilbao was effective but it depends on the opposition. I think Rudiger is to blame, not Courtois, because Rudiger's performance was so poor that Manchester City's second goal was even conceded because he pulled Haaland back in the penalty box. Courtois made many crucial saves; if it weren't for him, Real Madrid might have conceded more goals. Courtois' performance was consistent in goal, and Manchester City's first goal wasn't his fault, but rather Real Madrid's defense, which failed to deal with Manchester City's corner kick, especially Rudiger's performance, which was truly poor.

He as a coach haven't done anything bad that show that he is not capable of the job, the poor performances come as a result of the player’s inability to their job efficiently especially the defenders, so how do you blame the coach for losing a game.

Although I know that he lost some matches that they as Real Madrid are not suppose to lose, and they couldn’t do better when Barcelona was facing injury crises to take the lead in the Laliga title race, however, that’s not an enough reason for a team that is trying to build up for better future to sack coach just like that.

I do acknowledge the match was against City and not the chaos that was in the last round of LaLiga, that Real played way better for at least 1/3 of the game but still with the chaos with the manager and the actual team that can play with injuries and tired players, I still think 1.6 is way to low.
