Barcelona scored two goals in two minutes thats quite impressive, there is no doubt that they are going to end up winning the la liga title. I lost confidence on Barcelona when I saw that they didn't score any goal when it was close to 90 minutes but they still managed to score. it is surprising that they have gotten to this point because they were lagging behind during a period but it is good to see them back on their feet

The effort from Barcelona has to be commended, they did a great job under fewer minutes.

It wasn't 2 minutes apart, about 4 minutes between both goals, Dani Olmo scored 86 minutes, Robert Lewandowski scored 90 minutes.

There is little hope for Real Madrid, very little if only Barcelona suffer setback in performance or squad injury in the remaining games.

I almost lost hope for this game I thought we were going to draw this game . Espanol players were really hyped up,  their fans showed massive support. We didn't play good ball at the first half we only had one shot on target .  Barcelona won't sign Rashford and am sure about that , this not the kind of player we need. Hansi was very brilliant to bring up Olmo and Fermin Lopez but at first I was complaining why he substitute raphina. But I was proven wrong today. Brilliant Goal from Olmo and kudos to fermin Lopez for that beautiful assist. But the overall thanks and appreciation should go to Joan Garcia, that guy was sent from heaven.

Barcelona and Espanyol match is not really a difficult one to predict in my opinion. Right now the match is almost over, 70min+ is almost over,  from the first time I thought Barcelona will win this match. But till now they are still drawing 0:0 if Barcelona failed to win the match even with one goal, many gamblers will loose their money tonight. I just hope Barcelona will do everything to see that they win this match.

Espanyol is playing at home, their moral is really high right now, they are stronger at home. Let’s see what will happen in the remaining minutes of the match, but seriously, Barcelona need to win.

We have not been paying attention to Barcelona very well with the goals they have scored, I mean the goal distribution. They have done a better job than any other teams this season, they have total goal of 53, that's far better than what Madrid is having of 36, about 18 goals differences but people think because Real Madrid has decided to make one guy a face of the team, he deserves golden booth. Everyone can now see Barcelona has individual contributions than any other teams.

I actually didn't know that Juan Garcia poseses this kind of quality until Barcelona's game at Espanyol this evening. It was because of his brilliance and great goalkeeping abilities that Barcelona won their game tonight. Because of the quality goalkeepers in the in the Spanish La Liga team, I don't think Garcia will get a call up to represent Spain national team in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

I take my hat off to the mentality he showed today, he completely ignored the ridicule and proved it with an epic performance, he saved Barcelona goal repeatedly, I think he deserves to be named MOTM in this derby.
And I also have to commend Hansi Flick, when his game wasn't working because his team couldn't do much, he made a substitution that completely changed Barcelona game.

Barcelona was not very impressive in this game for me and only focused on hurdling the ball at the midfield with no much attempts on the goals. It seems from my observation lately that big teams get too confident and think they still have enough time to win a game and they end up playing midfield all through the game instead of focusing on the goal. Even with less numbers of passes delivered by the Espanyol, they still had a higher number of shots on target. This shows how goal oriented the players were and this was the only saving Grace they had before Dani olmo and Lewandowski did their thing.

Barcelona is now 7 points clear at the top with Real Madrid still waiting to battle Real Betis of which it's going to be a very tough game for them. If they loose or draw, the gap Keep getting wider and Barcelona keeps running away with the title.

I would have liked a goalless score in this match as it could have made Madrid's chances a little bigger but it looks like Barcelona are still not willing to let their consistency fade away.

I don’t know if you’re familiar with Nico Paz. He’s a Real Madrid academy product who went on loan to Como under Fabregas. There, he is a key player and generally runs the team. Arda Guler’s situation is different , despite all the pressure, Xabi trusts him, and i’m sure he will improve if he keeps working hard. Maybe a loan is the better solution, but it’s a double edged sword. What if he doesn’t fit into the team? What if he doesn’t develop? It’s hard to say, but i believe things will work out for him here

I’m not familiar with most of Real Madrid's academy players, but I do know loaning out these players does help a lot to keep them fit and progress.. Some of these players were coming from playing constantly in their previous squads, and imagine just benching them for a straight season on arrival.

For now, Arda doesn’t have any choice but to just wait and hope everything works out while trying to get better, but I still stand on the point of getting him loaned out if they eventually sign new midfielders…

I think Arda Güler's playing style isn't currently suited to the Premier League, but rather the Spanish league. The Premier League is very physically demanding, and Arda Güler hasn't yet reached that level of physical strength. In my opinion, he needs at least a few more years to adapt to the tough competition there. However, considering his passing ability and football intelligence, Arda is a rare find. I understand why Real Madrid wants him in Spain, because he's a player who plays football with his brain. I hope Arsenal doesn't make this transfer because he might have trouble adapting to the Premier League.

Until it is over it is not over. This is one good thing I have leary from football. A bit of observation says that, Barcelona defenders are shite. They will need to imvest in that area or get a younger player who can help organise that. Joan Garcia truly showed his class against the team he once played for, even though Barcelona won thanks to goals from Olmo and Lewandowski and a superb brace of assists from Fermin Lopez, it was Garcia who was the hero in Barcelona victory over Espanyol. Throughout the match, Barcelona was continuously pressured by Espanyol due to the opponent's repeated attacks and threats. Luckily, Barcelona had Garcia who performed brilliantly, he managed to thwart at least 4 golden opportunities for Espanyol.
It was not in vain that Barcelona spent 25 million euros to recruit him, It is natural that Hansi Flick prefers him as the main goalkeeper because his quality is better than Ter Stegen.

These two goals were scored within five minutes of the end of the match, taking advantage of the weakness that arose in the Espanyol players, who found the match difficult due to the unfavorable weather and fatigue as the match was coming to an end. Dani Olmo and Lewandowski had the opportunity to score two very quick goals. I also thought the match would end in a draw because from the start, it was just a back-and-forth exchange of attacks without any goals. Whether you like it or not, Barcelona's victory shows their consistency, and I also don't like it when Madrid has to keep chasing their deficit. They must defeat Betis tonight; otherwise, I don't know what else to say about them for this season.

True, that's one thing about playing Barcelona and defending, ones you start with defending make sure of doing it very well because the Barcelona boys are hungry desperate players who can't relax when they need that 3pt to extend the lead on the log, they ones lost that 1st position to Madrid and at this point they don't feel like letting that spot go so they'll definitely make sure of getting a goal to win the game. The host Espanyol looked like a team that can spoil the party for Barcelona this year but they weren't clinical in front of goal, they had better opportunities to take the lead at halftime but the chances went begging, non found the back of the net. So it will be Madrid to start playing under pressure against Betis and I'm not expecting too much from the visitors Betis because they play less against the big side.

Obviously without those brilliant saves from Joan Gracia yesterday it would have taken Barcelona extra effort to equalise or even start a comeback. Espanyol made so many incredible attacks in the early minutes of the game in which only Garcia saves prevented those attempts from going in. It was really frustrating to his former team mates, I concur to your conclusions because if those saves weren't that accurate Barcelona maybe would have just managed a draw or even lose that Derby.

Barcelona failed to score until the 85 minute of the match and Espanyol succeeded in not allowing Barcelona to score. But Espanyol could not maintain that success with a spectacular goal from Dani Olmo. Just four minutes after the first goal, the experienced Lewandowski put the team ahead with another spectacular goal. Espanyol had a huge chance to draw the match but Barcelona excellent performance and their ability as an experienced team defeated the opponent team and strengthened their top position. In the current context, Real Madrid will be under pressure to win the next match against Real Betis as they are already 7 points behind Barcelona.

Before the match between Villarreal and Elche, most analysts predicted their victory. Villarreal were the favourites in the match and won and returned to third place in the table. The result was quite expected.

I don't think Garcia will get a call up to represent Spain national team in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

He will be called for the World Cup team. He was called in the last international break, but he got injured before the break, so he couldn't go. He and David Raya are currently the best goalkeepers Spain has. Uni Simon has been in a horrible form for a while now. The coach has given him a lot of grace, but he hasn't improved. I don't think he will be used in the World Cup if he keeps up this current performance. The starting position in that tournament will be between Raya and Joan Garcia.
Even if Garcia won't play, he will be called to the World Cup as a third choice. He is certainly ahead of Alex Remiro
