The Barcelona players played with high confidence, which made their performance very impressive, and I truly believe that they could defend the La Liga title if this situation continues. I think Betis chose the wrong tactics from the very beginning. They decided to defend right from the start of the match and conceded a goal quite quickly, you can't allow Real to attack almost all the time. I understand that Betis may have been counting on playing on counterattacks and trying to score that way. Celta managed that quite well, but Celta attacked much more, while Betis simply sat deep near their own goal. Barcelona's victory over Espanyol was not easy, in fact I almost thought the match would end goalless because both teams' defenses were quite good throughout the match. Espanyol's defense began to crumble after Olmo's first goal, then Lewandowski doubled Barcelona's lead to seal the match with a win.

To be honest, it's a rather dull match and it's quite likely that it will end 1-0 in favor of Real Madrid. Betis, who usually play good attacking football, seem to be at a loss, while Real, without Mbappe, seem to have no one to score. It’s no longer the case of squandering chances now, Real Madrid is off to a quick start and are attacking with some precision in this second half. The score is now Real Madrid 3:0 Real Betis and they aren’t giving off much chance for Real Betis to create and take any good chances. Although, I don’t see Real Madrid to be very good defensively and so, them keeping a clean sheet against this Real Betis side is highly questionable but, they’ve been really good going forward.
