After Barcelona demolished Athletic Bilbao 5-0 and after Real's more modest 2-1 win over Atletico Madrid, we're going to have the most exciting Spanish Supercup final.
I'm not sure if odds for this game are yet available anywhere, but I'm sure Barcelona will be the favourite. They demonstrated much better form + they will have one extra day of rest available, which could play a big role.

As for today's game, you have to feel sorry for Atletico, they played very decently and probably deserved the win. They made 21 shots on goal compared to Real's 8 shots, but it's the goals that matter. As much as the 2nd minute goal by Valverde was impressive, it looked like Sorloth forgot what the purpose of the wall is. It looked like he got scared of the ball and intentionally dodged it, although the shot was so strong that maybe he didn't even have enough time to react. Before atletico madrid was well prepared, they fell behind in the match. Conceding goals so quickly was one of the reasons for Atletico madrid's defeat. Mbappe's absence is not certain for the final match yet. Xabi Alonso has stated that he has been training already. Who knows maybe we will even see him in the lineup.

I like Gonzalo Garcia as he can make a good contribution while Mbappe isn't able to play. However in an El Clasico I would rather see Mbappe instead. It isn't to play big games efficiently for inexperienced players like him.

I think Barcelona will be the champion but I'm not sure about regular time only.
