I understand why Barcelona are the favourites (Mbappe's absence and all that), but the imbalance in odds is unreasonably large and I think Real are undervalued. In their worst years, Barcelona could win a single game against Real Madrid and vice versa, but this season I don't see much of a difference in the strength of these clubs. Is it really impossible for Real Madrid to win one of their three games against Barcelona in the current situation? If no, odds of 3.30 are worth it.

Mbappe's absence is not certain for the final match yet. Xabi Alonso has stated that he has been training already. Who knows maybe we will even see him in the lineup.

I like Gonzalo Garcia as he can make a good contribution while Mbappe isn't able to play. However in an El Clasico I would rather see Mbappe instead. It isn't to play big games efficiently for inexperienced players like him.

I think Barcelona will be the champion but I'm not sure about regular time only.

Well, it's knee injury that Mbappe had, that he will recover from around middle of January. I don't think, it will be ideal for Real Madrid to risk that, to play Mbappe in Super Cup finals that is scheduled on 11th(few days) despite Mbappe knee injury. Maybe Gonzalo Garcia will be the one to one that will fill in the gap of Mbappe in the finals, in some other match of LaLiga Mbappe will be featured. For now, let Alonso do without Mbappe in his line of squad to challenge Barcelona. I wish them luck because it will not be an easy match to have a lucky win like they did against Atletico Madrid

..the bookies will give the odds to Barcelona because they are more consistent and topping the table but don't forget that the last El Clasico clash was in favor of Madrid and they won that match.

Maybe, this will be a revenge match for Barcelona like you said. I don't want to underestimate any of these two teams because their clash is unpredictable to me.

You misunderstood my first post, Barca isn’t coming for any revenge, but Real Madrid is(maybe). The last time they faced each other at the Supercopa finals, they lost to Barca by a margin of 3 goals (5–2) (that could be the first), the second is the Copa del Rey final.

Normally, I have the believe that Barcelona is not far ahead that Real Madrid can’t compete with them, surely Real Madrid will compete with them in the La Liga right now. The final is not going to be an easy final, as both teams are in good form. Despite it seeming that Barcelona are in a little better form than Real Madrid, I still see both teams as having equal chances of winning the match. Most people are seeing Barcelona as the favorite team, but I will say that Real Madrid will not allow what happened last season to happen again this season’s final.I have confidence that Real Madrid will try their best to do everything possible to win the match and get the title. If Real Madrid are well determined, they can win the cup from Barcelona. Yeah, the goal from Valverde was insane, I really did not expected that at all, it was definitely something to behold. Dude does have some powerful shots without a doubt, but I did not expected him to be able to score from there.

Real Madrid winning wasn't really unexpected though, considering they are much better than Atletico Madrid, we could easily say that they have done a good job beating a team that they should be beating. Simeone needs more help from the team to get better, they are still third and having trouble breaking into top two after all these years.

There is this way Barcelona play that don't makes me doubt about them to win the Laliga. If they start the season and be at the top, along the line they came back to the top and refused to lose any game, then know it's a finished game for them. If Real Madrid hasn't been losing, maybe we can say that there is hope for them to try and reach Barcelona later but they are not consistent with their games and it's not helping the club to get a hold of Barcelona.

I know Real Madrid is trying to do everything to be there at any step Barcelona is doing but the fact that Barcelona has refused to lose any match, I'm not sure they can reach them. 4 points now means they need Barcelona to lose 1 game and draw 1 match, then they need to win 2 games in a row before they can match up with Barcelona. That means they need to win 3 games and Barcelona to lose 2 and draw 1 or lose 3 in total and that's not possible, at least for now.

I have seen both on television and also when playing physically.  That Velverde's free kick got a whole lot of people stunned for real. I knew he was good but, wasn't expecting that hundred percent free kick. A full-time draw will be the outcome between them come Sunday. Maybe the final result will be decided with the penalty kick and or after extra time.

All the credit is due for Valverde's free-kick goal, but he will never do it again a lot. Valverde is a great midfielder with a strong fighting spirit. His powerful shot is one of his strengths, and I think we all know that he has scored some great goals while wearing the Real Madrid uniform. Atletico Madrid fought hard in that match, but it was clearly not their lucky day even though they actually had more chances to score.

The final match was certainly what I expected, yes it was El Clasico. The match was definitely more thrilling than Barcelona versus Atletico Madrid, but I don't think either team needed much time to determine who the winner would be. This season Barcelona has already lost to Real Madrid in La Liga, so I think they will force themselves to find a way to beat Real Madrid in the final.

What to say about the yesterday game between Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid, Real didnt play good at all, they were more lucky and ended up winning the game only that no much more.

I feel like Barcelona is gonna win the final not in a easy way since Real Madrid is still a good team with great players but Barcelona as a team is way better right now, lets see how all of this affect Xabi Alonso.

Valverde goal at the first two minutes looked very clever and contributed immensely to the success of the team, if Real Madrid was stronger like before, they would have scored more goals especially with the first ginger which came from the goal scored by Valverde in the first few minutes of the game. What I was expecting was they will crown the goal with more goals and more statements to leave ahead of the final which is most likely coming up with the Barcelona guys and an El Classico battle yet to be finished on this game.

Valverdes goal should be considered for Puskas. I know that Puskas is given to the goals that also look not just good but also a bit like acrobatic and what not, usually it's someone who scores an unexpected goal.

But this should be in the discussion, we have seen what we should as a talent there, because not many people in the world could score a goal like this at a stage like this, it was as powerful as it gets, not sure what the speed of the ball was but it was definitely a very fast ball. He isn't a scorer normally, he doesn't score that many goals, but when he shoots, dude sends a bzooka and this was one of the best because it was a free kick as well, not just some in game situation. Definitely a goal to remember for years to come.

It is looking more like everyone is shining in their own way and they have more freedom to express themselves on the pitch, either individually or collectively. Although this time around, it's amazing that they were able to secure a scoreline like this instead of just the usual 0:0 draws.

There was a glaring defensive error by Rayo Vallecano for Aranbarri's equalizer. They can't concede that goal from a set piece, easily defendable, in stoppage time, Seriously? C'mmon, you guys should probably defend tough matches like that at all costs!

I expect the final between Barcelona and Real Madrid to be quite intense, even if it goes to a penalty shootout, to see who will emerge victorious. However, I'm eager to see both sides produce some epic attacking and defensive performances during the match, as a penalty shootout is all about scoring. As for the other action, I'm eager to see how both teams attack each other to see who is truly stronger this season, even though it's a Super Cup final, which isn't as prestigious as it seems.

Real Madrid players are most likely enjoying the freedom to play as individual players while they also partner as team mates to get good results but in the absence of Mbappe it's been a smooth ride for them the team do not depend on a particular player to score the field on like when Mbappe was almost getting all the goals but it they keep getting good results till Mbappe gets back the cash should do some adjustments since hl the team to improve in their performance and get good results.

I thought about that even before now and since the French man has been off the field of play it looks different. Everything is going well, not that he's a problem but the way they play as a unit without him is just different, not channeling everything on one position or person but playing the game like they're all chasing one goal.
I would love to see Madrid play without Mbappe on any of the big games they'll have in the coming days, let's see if this togetherness will continue. From how things have been going on for the club and players is like they are to feed Mbappe and make him the man in the spotlight, could it be that they're all playing to make him the main man over everyone else?
