It's the way Barcelona team developed defense before the match that affects their result. They have what they could use to win that match but decided to skip some players because they felt it's not necessary with Real Sociedad. They didn't see them as team that will give them tough time. However, Real Sociedad prepared before the game, they knew what was coming for them, they returned more than what Barcelona prepared.

Compare the match with Slavia Praha and that of Real Sociedad, despite the mistakes from Barcelona, it was quickly corrected, they didn't just equalize the goals, they won the match with far goals. This is what I am expecting to see in Laliga this weekend. It's going to be very hard for Real Madrid to take that place, unless I see some changes in the way they play here.

Barcelona hit the woodwork about 5 times, got 2 goals disallowed by VAR for an inch offside, and also got a penalty overturned by the VAR. This is a lot of luck. Let's not forget that Barcelona created a lot of chances. They were creating for fun, but couldn't convert the chances.
Sociedad didn't play exceptionally well, Barcelona were just too unlucky and missed Raphina in that game.
If Raphinha were available, he might have converted at least one of Yamal's chances.

Real Sociedad has been a constant source of trouble for Barcelona and Real Madrid almost every season. So, when they win, I don't think it's luck, but rather the result of hard work and they understand what they have to do when facing a team like Barcelona. When I hear people talk about Luck in football it all gets me worried, because I absolutely don’t think there is anything such as luck in football, you get what you deserve from your performance, and I think it was a very good performance from Real Sociedad, they played a very good game, and they were solid defensively, they seems like a team that have done their home work against Barcelona, when they scored and immediately they had to start defending and Barcelona scored in that 70th minute and I thought that was a game over,  I actually thought Barcelona was going to do something unbelievable by winning that game at that time interval but Real Sociedad was determined to take the 3 points, there game plan was perfectly executed which was more of a counterattack and solidified in defense, I think they have to use the midfield battle to win the game against Barcelona.

I don't want to make this a debate, but there's definitely a luck factor in football. Because some teams play very well, and the opposing team has no chances, they only attack once and score. Your team, on the other hand, despite playing very well, might hit the posts, fail to break down a tight defense, and just can't score. Of course, football is a sport that requires very good analysis, but sometimes you also need luck.

Yes, it's true Barcelona lost one match, but overall they still look better than Real Madrid. They score more goals and create more chances. I still think they are ahead of Real Madrid and have a better chance of winning the championship. I also think Barcelona can do well in the Champions League this year.

La Liga teams almost playing well in Champion League at the matchday 7 except Villareal have defeated from Ajax Amsterdam not really effective yet although playing home, the La Liga teams participants in Champion League only Villareal have been eliminated at phase league round just earning 1 point only of 7 matches played. Last night Barcelona playing well in Champion League get victory from Slavia Praha and Real Madrid won 6-1 against AS Monaco, I think both teams Madrid and Barcelona has bigger chance qualify to knock out round and giving positive impact as La Liga teams reach to higher round.

Atletico Madrid performance in Champion League indeed no quite well but has chance for last match if can get victory will directly qualify to knock out round, in this season has chance to see La Liga teams final in Champion League?

The season is not over yet. There are still many games to be played and even anything can happen. The teams in the top five of the standings are the most likely to win the championship. Barcelona and even Real Madrid are indeed the favorites. But that doesn't mean they can't be eliminated from the top. So I personally would say that we still cannot say which team will win the championship. Unless the round ends soon or there are only a few games left then we can start to predict quite accurately who will be the champion. Perhaps Barcelona has performed quite well so far in terms of performance and even in terms of points. But the points they have are still close to several other teams below them.

There is no way for Barcelona to avoid Real Madrid. They have not become as better team as you could expect from Real Madrid performance. Their defense is still very weak and there are problems with the team. Manager Xabi lost his job due to poor performance. The team has a new manager but under him they lost their first match against Albacete but won the next two matches. The huge goal 6-1 win over Monaco in the Champions League match fulfilled the fans expectations but I have doubts about Real Madrid performance in the next matches because they are an unpredictable team.

Coaches are not always able to make the right decisions, clearly those who referee in the top leagues are much more prepared than those who play in leagues that are not at the top and then when they go to international levels they don't do well but that's how it is, they too have to be..

I do enjoy VAR, and I am glad that it was brought up and it has definitely changed the game a lot. Because offsides used to be just eye balling whatever the referees saw, either the main one or side ones, that is what they saw and that is what they give and that was the end of the discussion.

Nowadays we have VAR and we have the lines drawn and all of that, which makes it a lot easier because that way there is a very small margin of error. People who do not like VAR do not remember the old days, you may have been 10 meters behind and still be called offside because back in the day you were up to whatever the referee saw, and if they saw wrong then you were out of options but to accept a wrong call, now at least referees get to see it over and over again.

Var is one of the most important thing in football and I like Var so much because it has make football more enjoyable and fun, I know some people don’t like it because when their team need a goal and they cancel the goal it very painful but we have to agree that it make football more fun, Var has cause Real Madrid so many things that the team did not like, they complain last season about some decisions by Var and referees in the league and nothing is done about it.

When it comes to var decisions we need to believe that they are doing their work, they makes mistakes sometimes and that makes the fans think that they are doing it to favour another team, in La Liga, many fans complained about how referees officiated games and it is not just in La Liga that is happening, wrong decision is not a new thing in football.

I saw Fermin lopez in the preseason games and i always think to myself what a player he is, now he is having a lot of minutes with the team in the regular season and is showing all of his skills, i really like him and how he play, so is good to see him scoring and delivering assits so Hansi Flick can give him even more minutes in the future.
