Atletico Madrid's performance seems to be lacking at the moment because in the match against Levante, Atletico Madrid did not win even though Levante is currently a team in the relegation zone, but Atletico Madrid could not beat them and the match ended in a 0-0 draw. Barcelona recorded the highest XGs but still couldn't score many goals. This ferran Torres is not reliable as a striker, he keeps missing important chances, hadn't been lewandoski is getting old and slow, ferran won't see the spotlight of becoming a 9 for Barcelona. Chances were begging yesterday. The first half was really good, but the players improved themselves in the second half. I think Elche was on a home record. The person I want to talk about is Rashford, it's like that guy has lost his goal scoring touch. That one on one he missed should have been an easy goal for. Barcelona can't afford to be wasting chances like this because as from  this month is where the season gets tougher.

Yesterday I really enjoyed watching Barcelona’s match against Elche. I placed a bet on Barcelona, even though the odds were low, I really like watching games like that. As expected, they comfortably beat Elche and could have scored a few more goals.

Today Real Madrid need to beat Rayo Vallecano at home in order to reduce the gap back to one point. I looked at the history of their meetings and can see that Rayo Vallecano have always been a difficult opponent for Real. I think that after the loss to Benfica they will want to win to make up for the disappointment of that defeat. However, I won’t be betting on Real today, because I see Rayo Vallecano as an uncomfortable opponent for them.

Ferran Torres isn't actually a center forward, but he's been able to do his job well this season. In the match against Elche, he was just unlucky, which is understandable, as his natural position isn't a center forward. Statistically, Torres' contribution this season has been far superior to Lewandowski's, and he's even scored more goals. Barcelona shouldn't rush to find a quality, expensive center forward to replace Lewandowski, as they don't have the money, and Hansi Flick will undoubtedly rely on Torres.

Did you see the xG stats for Barcelona against Elche? It was 4.56 at halftime and 6.44 at the end of the match.    That must be the highest level of goal expectation I have seen in the recent years.

Now Real Madrid are struggling against Vallecano... This is just poor football I'm afraid even if they find the winner in the remaining 15 minutes. Arbeloa ball doesn't look that consistent yet.

With Barcelona current form it will be very embarrassing for them to draw with Elche. I knew Barcelona wouldn't have a problem burying Elche which they did. I also expected Barcelona to score more than three goals because they created numerous chances to have more than the three they scored. But you know Ferran Torres problem  always, he likes missing chances Fermin Lopez also had clear chances and wasted them too. Rashford keeps impressing me with his finishing. Not betting on real Madrid is a wise decision that you made because they are not reliable.
