Rayo Vallecano lost 2-1 in Madrid today due to the mistakes of two inept players. Everything was going in Vallecano's favor until Ciss let the ball go too far forward. This resulted in a harsh tackle on an opponent and a direct red card.

Vallecano tried to hold onto the 1-1 score, but Mendy fouled Brahim Diaz inside the penalty area in the 90+10th minute, and the referee awarded a penalty. Mbappe converted the penalty, and Real Madrid secured three points from a tough match, continuing their pursuit of Barcelona.

If it weren't for the mistakes of these two players, we would be talking about something else for Real Madrid today.

That Madrid's win is indeed a weak win, how can a team as Real Madrid find it difficult securing a win in a game all believed will be an easy game for them. For the past few weeks Real Madrid have been facing difficulties winning games even in weak games as the one they played  against Rayo vallecano today that i and others believed would have ended the same way other big teams like them did yesterday but there's ended narrowly that if not for the penalty it would have ended in point division. It was a tough match for Real Madrid, because I believe they were lucky to get the points against Rayo Vallecano tonight. You are right that it was indeed a weak win for Madrid but notice that they had to fight until added time in today's game to achieve it. In fact, my opinion if French player Mbappe had not scored the goal in the 90+10 minutes with great success and composure, it might not have been possible for this team to add three points from today's match. However, it is very impressive that even though this team lost against Benfica at UCL, we can see that they have won five consecutive matches in the Spanish league and they give a pleasant game.

Real Madrid won today's match through a very tough challenge. If they had not been awarded a penalty at the last minute, the match would have been a draw. It is really sad that Real Madrid performed so poorly against Valladolid. I think Madrid's performance as a strong team was not normal at all. Valladolid attacked much more strongly, their performance against Real Madrid was much stronger. They attacked and defended. If two players from Valladolid had not received red cards, they would have been able to resist Madrid more strongly. A win is good for Real Madrid but this match shows that after a disappointed match in UEFA Champions League in Portugal, losing 2 - 4 to Benfica, they returned to La Liga with many exisiting problems. With several matches so far, Arbeloa have yet shown that he has capability to manage Real Madrid well in remaining months. It won't be too surprising if Arbeloa will be sacked in coming weeks because Real Madrid don't want to fail in this season without titles and have to leave Champions League too early.

It was Madrid that made this game very hard for themselves, how can you play against a team that always find it hard to get a win and they go soft on Rayo, that is too poor for Madrid because they know how important this game is but they could not dominate the game from how poor Rayo have been. It was a lucky win for Madrid, if not for that reckless challenge the game would have ended in a draw and Barcelona would have been celebrating Madrid's draw. Imo Madrid are still going to drop a complete 3pt because they are not in any way ready to challenge Barcelona for the title, no wonder they did not last long as league leaders.

They have managed to score at 90+10 in the game  and that was a very big luck for Real Madrid today because Rayo vallecano almost held them draw in Real Madrid's home. If not for the red card Vallecano got in the 80th minute plus I doubt if Real Madrid would have won the game and they have given themselves another hope of winning the La Liga Trophy that is if they continue winning but if they can play this kind of dirty and boring football with vallecano what chance do they have in climbing the table?

I think something is really wrong with Realmdrid, so if not that they got that opportunity to win this match, infact if not those 2red that was given to their opponent, the would've not win the match, RealMadrid has a problem right now, this problem shouldn't be taken like nothing, I know that Rayo is a stubborn team but what i never expected is for them to hold it down to that extent, it means if they had a complete team, who knows they might have done it the other way round, by my calculation 5 minutes extra time would've been a draw, the time added was much and that's why Realmadrid had the luck to score.

Barcelona could have won the Elche match by a historic margin, but ended up winning 1-3.

Ferran Torres and Fermin Lopes missed numerous scoring opportunities.
After Lewandowski, Barcelona needs to find a striker with excellent finishing skills. Torres is very young but still has many shortcomings.

I didn't like Elche at all yesterday either. They played more resiliently against Real Madrid, but they played very poorly against Barcelona. Alvaro scored and made the score 1-1, but it would have been a miracle for Elche to get any points from this match.

Barcelona easily secured the three points.

Yeah Barcelona should have won this match by a high margin cos there was a lot of goal scoring opportunities missed by their attackers especially Ferran Torres (which is no longer a new thing to Barcelona fans).
With this stat above, I believe the universe wanted to create something spectacular that’s why there was a lot of misses.
Elche didn’t play that badly when you compare their quality to Barcelona, they had a decent performance, also had a few chances that were wasted.

Real Madrid is not easy, especially in terms of consistency. The problem with Real Madrid is not the manager or management, but the players. There are some players in the team who are unable to perform as a team, that is, jealous. Until good chemistry is developed in the team, Real Madrid will not be as strong as before. For this, I expect big changes in the Madrid team. We also saw Real Madrid struggle against Rayo Vallecano, they did not perform like a big team against a small team. Against Benfica I see danger signs again.

Both red cards were the right calls by the way. Mbappe was also having a bad game actually. He missed an empty net on his shot too. But he made up for it by a penalty goal. However Real Madrid had better improve this performance next time.

Managing a team full of superstars is never easy because of the massive egos involved. Ancelotti was actually great at this he had a special way of keeping everyone happy and under control. But when Mbappe joined the team, it felt like the balance broke. It seems like even a master like Ancelotti lost his grip on the locker room.
If a legend like him can’t handle it, how can rookie coaches like Xabi Alonso or Arbeloa manage those big stars? They are still very new to this and it feels almost impossible for them to take control where Ancelotti failed.

The amount of goals Ferran Torres missed was way too much, and while I understand he is not a striker like Lewandowski, that just only means Barcelona needs another striker.

Lewandowski may not play every single game for 90 minutes I get that and he is old, but Ferran Torres is being forced to do something he isn't suppose to do. Don't get me wrong, he is doing a fine job of it as well, he isn't bad, Torres has been doing way more than expected, but getting a natural striker there would be a lot better for them. Lewandowski could leave at the end of the year, he is nearing his contract and there isn't a new one, so they ned to get someone who is like that, and could play full games, that would make them a lot better.

This was a very interesting round, with a lot of suspense in the games involving the 4 big teams.

Elche 1 - 3 Barcelona

Barcelona scored very early, at 6 minutes, it seemed they would crush Elche early, but Elche scored 23 minutes later. I remember that when I was watching this game, the bookmakers immediately increased the odds for Barcelona to win; before the game started it was @1.23 but it went up to @1.40 after Barcelona conceded. Barcelona scored 2 goals and won.

Levante 0 - 0 Atletico Madrid

Many people were probably shocked by this result; Atletico couldn't score against a relegation zone team and lost points.

Osasuna 2 - 2 Villarreal

Villarreal has gone 3 consecutive games without a win and they were close to losing in this game.

Real Madrid 2 - 1 Rayo Vallecano

Another movie; it seems that we Real Madrid fans will have a season where we'll need tranquilizers. This game had everything: Mbappé missing a goal, two red cards, a lot of extra time, something very exaggerated.

Very disappointed with the way Madrid played. I know three points are three points. Yet the way they played didn't even reflect if they were a big club. I was expecting the boost in their performance combined with dynamic display in their mentality after a disappointing defeat by Benfica.

Yet what i've been seeing just the downgrade of performance. They needed a red card combined with a pen just to win the game. It's not what we wanted from a club worth more than a billion. Everyone on the pitch look like have no relationship. They're only doing their own thing. It's getting worsen with no tactic by their coach.

At this point i come to a conclusion their manager is killed the club. But their players are also not good enough. Do you feel the same like me?
