This season Barcelona has won one trophy already and the stand the chance of winning the La Liga title because they are the best team in the league so far but the champions League is going to be a bit difficult for them to achieve because there are other good teams in the competition that are in a better for than Barcelona.  Last season should have been the best time for Barcelona to win the treble but they missed out in the champions League this season it's going to take more than their performance to achieve that goal.

They might be the best currently, since we don't know if Madrid will decline in form because their performance is not that impressive. However, a point gap isn't enough for Barcelona because Real Madrid shouldn't be underestimated. They can take over the first position from Barcelona if they fail to continue winning their matches. I think the El Clasico will be a good challenge for both of them.

The difference between the win Barcelona had and Real Madrid had could show you the difference between two teams. Barcelona won with 3 goals even though they missed plenty of chances, whereas Real Madrid barely won the game on the last second penalty and had just one other chance (Mbappe miss) which shows you that Real Madrid is playing much worse at the moment.

Obviously they will get better, or they may at least, at this point there is no other option but to get better for Real Madrid, don't know if they will keep their manager or get another one, but it's February now so it's really tough to get someone else. I think it's clear that we are going to see things not be that easy to handle, and for that reason Real Madrid have hard time getting the title.

Atletico De Madrid performance this season have been really inconsistent, up and down path is definitely not working for them. We know them for playing haram football. Atletico De Madrid is an elite team that have been in possession of trophies and also mark their territory in La Liga. They're no average team but also consider as rival for the La Liga title after Real Madrid and Barcelona, Atletico De Madrid comes next on the table.

Diego Simeone just have to exit Atletico De Madrid because he has done enough for the club already. Sometimes I wonder how the club's management trust the manager so much. They are willing to do anything as far as the manager commands. Let's see where the manager can go from here after landing Ademola Lookman who came in from Atalanta.

Benfica really need that match and if they didn't win the match they won't be in the playoffs, but now am sure madrid will really do more better and get the chance to qualify to round 16th in the Champions League and perform more better. Let see who among them will get the opportunity to win the laliga this season because both team are struggling to continue doing well so that they can be getting more point and any team that failed to win there next game in the league competition, they can probably be in a problem so no one will like to lose a point.

I think the rivalry between Real Madrid and Barcelona will continue until the end of the season. I honestly hope so, because when it does, the competition reaches a higher level and leads to exciting matches. Both teams have periods where they drop points. When one team loses points, the other team makes the league even more exciting. The only problem is that this rivalry is stuck between these two teams. I would like to see a third team as a championship contender.

That lost for Barcelona was purely coincidental, and it isn’t that that they didn’t perform well in the match..Real Sociedad were very tight with their defense and also the Real Sociedad goalkeeper had saved eight chances in that game. This Season Barcelona are in really good form and they’ve won most of their matches losing just thrice across all competitions this season.Real Madrid haven’t been consistent in their performances this season, because they stated this season very well but they flopped it along the way allowing Barcelona take the lead.

Real Madrid are in a very tight race with Barcelona for the Laliga title this season and I like seeing this kinda the intense competition between them.

I think we have to admit they're no longer contenders for the championship. Athletico de Madrid level of football has dropped significantly, they are just playing like an average team. La Liga keeps losing its value due to their lack of competitions. And I get it , it's because of Javier tebas who won't allow clubs to spend money in transfers. I saw a picture on X which was showing how much was spent in top 5 leagues during last summer and this winter window, la Liga sit below. Even In the European coefficient ranking la Liga might also slip below which might make them to have 3 teams qualifying from champions League. Imagine my club Barcelona was only able to spend around 25m during summer. This stuff that Tebas is doing is killing the league competitiveness, teams are complaining.

One thing I will say is about the fight real Madrid have in this month of February. They will be facing to play their playoffs against Benfica in two legs and in both legs and at the same time, they are still playing their local, both of the competition to them for now is very much important, as they can not afford to lose both competitions. It will be a striving one for them and hopefully they scale through this month. If they do, it will be a big win for them.

Since they won the trophy in 2020 it seems that they are not expecting the championship especially with the superiority of Madrid and Barcelona as 2 candidates who are always above them so that the conditions that occur now for Atletico are like their characteristics no matter who will lift the trophy in La Liga, the most important thing is that they enter among the top 4 to be in the Champions League zone and always like that every season.

Even though they have a lot of players who actually have potential including Julian Alvarez and Sorloth who actually in the last 2 seasons have been the top scorer in La Liga.
But because of Simeone's monotonous scheme, the style of play that is actually far from good makes the situation actually turn into a very difficult thing for Atletico but the funny thing is that the fans and club management there do not see this as an urgent matter that must be reshuffled because until now they seem calm without fuss for the trophy.

It's true Barcelona have always done well and played positive games this has been seen despite the big drops they have had, but when they have had several problems with injured players in the end you have seen the real difficulties of a team, but this is something that happens to everyone it is impossible to withstand the pressure without having a strong team.

I even still see Barcelona as a team in good shape at the moment, and there's no excessive pressure on them in La Liga at the moment. Since Real Madrid, their closest rival, isn't in particularly good form at the moment, Barcelona will never be afraid to compete as usual against any team. So it's natural that Barcelona is still in good shape and performing well in every La Liga match, despite having suffered surprising losses to weaker teams.

This season has been a very rough season for many top teams even across Europe entirely. A lot of teams are suffering from inconsistency either caused by injuries or other problems known or unknown. I would classify Barcelona as one of the few teams in form this season because even though they are not perfect they are able to win games and stay ahead in the league. They also manage to dominate Real Madrid in recent meetings which is a good thing for them.

Real Madrid on the other hand are struggling with consistency, they have suffered a lot in the hands of Barcelona and also they haven't been able to maintain good form even against weaker teams but they are still 2nd placed. No matter how these teams struggle they always manage to make the champions league.

I know that Diego Semione is one of the best managers in the history of Atletico Madrid, but personally, I think it’s not something serious, but the team needs to step up and play modern football which means the entire playing pattern of the team needs to be changed and if that changes will be effected by the team management they need to hire a modern manager that can read and study every game which simply means that Semione needed to be replaced by any modern problem.

Tomorrow, Barcelona has Copa del Rey quarter final match against Albacete as the team success eliminating Madrid at round of 16, interested will Barcelona get difficulty when facing the segunda division team how Madrid has loss 3-2 or its easily match for Barcelona?

But Simeone has little incentive to leave Atletico Madrid as he signed one of the best paying contracts in football history as a coach. His salary is said to be up to €40 million per season. He won't get that much money anywhere and he won't have as much power anywhere else. Whatever he says is the law and the club knows that it is not realistic to compete with Real Madrid or Barcelona. It is possible in a great season, but not for many yearsas Atletico Madrid can't buy players the same way the other two clubs can.

Barcelona have a very good team that is close to the squad of Ronaldino, Mercy, Xavi and Samuel Eto. I have confidence in them that they will get good result this season if injuries did not spoil things for them. Right now they are in the best position to win the league because Real Madrid that was supposed to challenge them are not doing great at the moment. But I will not remove the possibility of everything changing in favor of Madrid.

Maybe what you said, but I’m also little bit surprised with their performance, but as you said maybe the board isn’t unhappy seeing their performance like this, they will do better. Athletico Madrid should do well, even if they are joining the champions league, they’ve fans and for their own also. They should do well.

However, let’s see if Athletico Madrid will do better, we should say because they’re joining the champions league that is why they don’t boarder how their performance is been going recently.

There was a rumor that he was going to leave before the season started but later we heard nothing again after a while only to see the news from Fabrizio Romano about his new contract eligible for 1 year with the team. I don't know what gave the club some comfidence to give him a second chance to ride the club he has almost coach for 2 decade, the club need to let him go so everyone can leave in peace and the club can be in better place with Madrid and Barcelona.

If the way he has even try over the years and was able to put the team in good place even though they couldn't get close to Real Madrid and Barcelona, a better manager can change that and make it work. If only we can do this one the whole of Spain, we need to break the monopoly of the Spanish league trophy been shared between Real Madrid and Barcelona, we need to eradicate this farming and this family football that is been repeated every year.
