Both are serious candidates to win the league, however I personally believe this season is Barcelona who will obtain the title of the Spanish League. Of course Real Betis can't win the league. Even Atletico Madrid can't. 

There are only 2 title contenders which you also shared. Barcelona are stepping forward obviously not only with their points but also their game.

Real Madrid are even harder to predict with Arbeloa now. Florentino Perez made a decision in a hurry which might not have great results for them. There was no guarantee with Xabi Alonso either but at least he prove his skills before.

The gap is only 2 point right now, which means to top Barcelona, Real Madrid needs a win tomorrow. I think it could be a week where both of them could win, which isn't a rare feat and sometimes happens.

For the past two weeks both of them won, in the last five weeks, four of them ended with both of them winning and this could be yet another week where that happens again. Real Madrid hasn't lost a game in a long while, they didn't even get a draw, they have been on the way to recover and be at the top.

Your personal favorite team is in a weak position and has very little chance of winning the trophy. Considering the current performance, Real Madrid position looks strong from the outside, but I think they are becoming a weak team. Most of their players are not in good form, they have become a less strong team like last season. I agree with you that Barcelona is in great form this season like last season and they will probably win the trophy. Hansi Flick is leading the team and motivating the players well as a coach. He never considers the opponent's strength as weakness and uses his skills to defeat the opponent.

Though real madrid are the clear favourite in this game since they are playing a team that are in a relegation zone, but it will be regrettable if they are complacent in this game, because teams fighting for their survival can be very tricky, but this is a game that real madrid must win if they want to compete and stay in a touching distance with Barcelona that are leading the chart now.

Trying to outscore their opponent may be productive in the Spanish laliga and other domestic trophies in the Spanish league, but in the uefa champions league, that approach will be costly because they will find it difficult to outscore some team, while the team can even do a lot of damage to their porous defense.

I don't know how you came to the conclusion that Real Betis will stand a chance because a team at 5th place in the table doesn't have any opportunity to win the League, the gap is too wide that they have to cover that points and then put another effort to want to displace Barcelona and Real Madrid and we all know that is not possible for now, unless they have some kind of tricks they are yet to unveil to the public but you and I know they have nothing.

Barcelona is going to win this league as long as that 4 point remain for now. The way Real Madrid has been playing doesn't look like they are going to win, Barcelona doesn't look like they either going to lose too but they have some mistakes they have made that has slow them down, if they can use that opportunity to uplift their place on the table, they might do better and get the opportunity to win the League.

The fact is Real Madrid is winning today's game no doubt comes rain comes sun they are definitely winning today's game though it won't be an easy win for them but one thing I'm sure of is they will surely win the game, but let's face reality who will agree with me that if not for the fact Real Madrid had got some pretty good talents and quite make an influence on their name if not for this facts they could have been finding it difficult to win games this season, judging from what I'm seeing from their performance it's not really impressive and I doubt if they can catch up with Barcelona even though the point is not much.

Real Madrid is breathing on their shoulders, if they lose points in any match, then Real Madrid will occupy the top spot. There are 15 rounds of games left, Barcelona will have to maintain the winning streak in these 15 rounds. If they lose points now and deteriorate in the table, then it will be very difficult for them to win the title. The busyness of the Champions League will affect the teams.

I get your point mate, sooner or later one amongst the 2 will definitely drop point, well from the beginning of the season considering how Real Madrid started we all thought it was going to be their season but then things began to change and they stayed losing points, some of their fans were complaining about the injury crises in the team but for me I always think it going to be Barcelona season. When Barcelona plays we all see how they are in total control in their games but even if Real Madrid should win they always look like a team that could lose anytime.

I find this to be one of the most important aspect of building a team, the psychological aspect that builds in the minds of players that they can actually go into any game and emerge with 3 points. That’s the sort of aura you find with the Barcelona team, they come on the pitch and immediately starts to dominate you, even when you start the scoring, it doesn’t matter because they could always attempt a come back successfully.
There was nothing Mallorca could do against a more dominant Barcelona team, once they started the scoring, it’s a matter of how many numbers they can do.

That winning mentality is really what I love about this current Barcelona team, not that they don't lose matches but the truth is that, it doesn't happen often but their winning mentality is what happens often. Even though I'm not a fan of the club, the truth still remains that I admire the club, their philosophy of keeping the ball in ground and playing is another aspect of my admiration for them. This mentality of playing and always being confident you will win even though you are behind. The aura of the team when they are losing , they maintain their cool and still come at you till you start making silly mistakes, boom they will score 2 - 3 goals within minutes. Last season we all saw the numerous comebacks of Barcelona and at that time I felt the only that could stop them PSG but unfortunately, they fell to Inter Milan and that was how they didn't make it to the finals.

Honestly, Barcelona deserve more than the three goals they scored. Barcelona really performed so well today, and if they were lucky enough, they should have scored more goals in the match because they had about seven shots on target, which, if they were lucky, could have reached five or six goals. But the main point is to secure the three points, and that is what they were able to secure. Barcelona did not have any chance to mess up the match,if not, Real Madrid might take over the top position from Barcelona, which would be something bad for Barcelona because they would hardly get the position back. So it is better that Barcelona continue winning their games and continue accumulating points until the season ends.

Barcelona really deserve more goal because they dominated the entire match with pretty numerous of shots but unfortunately due lack of luck they didn't delivered many goals. But I think it's still okay for Barcelona like victory is important. Barcelona get teg 3 points successfully and now it up to Real Madrid if they failed to win against Velencia then probably their difference will be slightly drop and Barcelona will have more confident to monitor the standings form top.....

However, the match were quite interesting because all players delivered super brilliant performance especially Lamine Jamal, Casado and Bernal. Like all of them were enjoying the ball possession. Lamine Jamal is really getting better and better and even now he is the one who are having more contribution ratios in playmaking.

Madrid won the last match against Valencia 4-0 . But madrid lost the home match last season by 2-1. The possibility of madrid losing points in today's match is very low . Although the madrid team is a bit off form , they are  quite strong. Hopefully madrid will not make any mistakes. They are not able to regain the top spot of the table. In this situation, if they lose points again, it will become even more difficult for them to  occupy the top  spot of the table.

Athletic Bilbao = 19 shots; 9 shots on target; 54% possession

Levante = 6 shots; 3 shots on target; 46% possession

I believe that if the Levante player hadn't received a red card in the 17th minute, Athletic Bilbao wouldn't have scored 4 goals and wouldn't have won the game. But luck was on their side, and with this victory they end a run of 7 games without a win. Perhaps this will motivate the players for the next games. One thing is clear to me: they have no chance of qualifying for the European Champions League and they probably won't be able to qualify for the Europa League or Conference League.
