They're a magical club and we all know that with all the financial benefits and the players they have but that's a story of the past and we can't compare the squad then to now because it's quite lopsided.

We know that even when things were tough in the past they still had the control to show that they were a superior club because their mentality was absolutely incredible. But now there's a missing piece where their mentality is fading.

If Barcelona can win the first leg then I am very sure that Barcelona will win the Copa Del Rey title because in the second leg Barcelona will be easier to defeat Atletico Madrid at home, these two teams are indeed equal opponents in the semifinals and in the final later Barcelona will meet one of the ones who will qualify for the final between Bilbao or Real Sociedad of course the opponents are not equal that what makes me believe Barcelona will be the winner, it's quite strange if Barcelona doesn't become a winner if they don't intentionally give up but if it's this far isn't it better to be able to score a definite result and collect more than 1 title during this season because it's most likely that Barcelona can also win the La Liga title.

No, that’s not a realistic way of thinking if we’re talking about chasing the UCL title. In that competition, any team can end up lifting the trophy. If you remember last season, PSG didn’t even look like serious title contenders, yet in the end they managed to win it. So even if a team looks weak right now, we don’t really know what will happen. The reality is, ATM will also give everything they’ve got in the UCL. That’s why I’m more inclined to agree with @KTChampions.

The soap opera created by madrid since a few years ago is finally over. They're officially leaving from their own super league project. Perez clearly turned them into a joke. He put so much focus on his abandoned project instead of thinking how to improve his club.
I have been thinking the idea to created a super league was just waste of time. yet perez was keep yelling his dream project.

Even though Atletico Madrid are quite inconsistent in the La Liga they should still be able to maintain themselves in top 4 easily. Because there is no real competition from 5th placed team and below.

Indeed has a lot of drama about the Super League created by Real Madrid but nowadays the UEFA Champion League match adopt format of Super League by playing based on the league phase not group stage format. I don't think fully bad how Real Madrid initiative with Super League and promising much compensation earn by the participants.

Finally the Super League over after one by one club leaving that and lately madrid become the last team leaving the Super League, against by UEFA and warning for all teams participant will get suspend I think reason why many club leaving the Super League actually has much profitable earn by the team participants than playing at UEFA Champion League match.

If you follow La Liga better you're probably right, but there are teams in Italy that have spent more and are not in third place
so I don't know whether to judge it as a failure or not, or rather, I don't know how to put it on a list of fails
