However, i've heard the acquisition can't be completed due to the relegation factor. Nevertheless, he and his consortium already in principle agreement with the current owner of sevilla. Hopefully, it can be finished asap.

Honestly speaking, I haven't seen more of  Athletico Madrid fans, I always thought ATM fans are Real Madrid fans when they are facing Barcelona or Barcelona fans when ATM is facing Real Madrid, it's nice to see.

You're right, they are playing in the champions league and also in this competition but their chances of winning the titles are slim. The champions league is not a competition to debate about or hope they can do something, I know it's not impossible but with their performance currently I doubt if they can do anything serious in the competition. A lot of tough teams are there so it's even the most difficult competition they can hope to win.

Facing Barcelona in this game is really a difficult one for them, Barcelona has always have their way around when playing against Atletico Madrid, they always seem to have a way to win but I just hope Simeone would have thought of something different to see if his boys can challenge Barcelona and hope to win. I think Barcelona will be difficult for them to beat but it's still worth a try. The champions league won't be easy if they focus on it. Well the cup is the most new one right now which they need to achieve before going to try the champions League where they will have more teams to compete with, in the cup against Barcelona their chances are high because they are familiar with the team they will be playing with which is Barcelona. I don't think bookmakers are actually confident like you stated. The odds are quite close, but there is a chance for Barce to win probably because they are the most in form side in la Liga so far this season, but that does not mean that they're writing Atletico Madrid off in this game. I think this is the type of game to bet on because it's going to be very classy. Defensively, both teams aren't that perfect, but attack wise, I think we might be seeing a couple of goals from both sides. I would risk a few bucks for over 3.5 total. Expecting 4 or more goals.
