Crazy result in the Atletico vs Barcelona game. I did not expect Barcelona to suffer an embarrassing defeat like that. I see lots of Barcelona fans blaming the pitch at Metropolitano Stadium which seems a bit far fetched. It's only the 1st leg but you have to think thT at 4-0 it is probably too much for Barcelona to do in the 2nd leg to reach the final.

I was kind of expecting it for Atletico-Barcelona, a match that seemed to be written from the beginning, but instead it turned out to be a real surprise that left everyone speechless. Clearly no one expected such a clear result for Atletico Madrid, but with that four-nil they made everyone understand that they are still alive.

They pushed for the attack together with the midfielders, so that each time an attack was reverted on them, they'll have have to run themselves down to their original positions to secure the empty spots. They just kept doing the same thing till they ran themselves into exhaustion. Atlético Madrid took full advantage of that repeated mistake and scored not 1, 2 or 3 goals, but 4 to nil. It reminded of what I said when he was signed and I said he was a very good player but the limitations he might get was the coach style of play which is always defensive, I said something like this when someone said even after the signing of Lookman, the club still lost the league match. It is looking like any major match without Raphinha starting will end in disaster for Barcelona. The mistake has been made and I don't expect Barcelona to allocate resources trying to remedy the match, that will likely yield no results and instead of that, they can put all their  energy into winning the La Liga that Real Madrid is about to snatch away from them.

Atletico Madrid really hit Barcelona where they least expected it. A four goal margin from the first half is really a big blow that will even destabilize the team and not have courage to actually get themselves back on track on the game. Barcelona performance was not really encouraging and they don’t even have a chance on this game, so the win was a well deserving one for Atletico Madrid. I doubt if in the second leg Barcelona will be able to get themselves back and prevail against Atletico Madrid. When those goals entered it looked like a magic looking at how Barcelona where dismantled without a single replay at all,now we say the probability of qualifying is sure and certain if they are ready. Eric Garcia's own goal wasn't his fault. He passed back to the goal keeper Joan Garcia who tried to control the ball but his leg was high to see the ball go pass underneath his feet.
It was an own goal but wasn't Eric Garcia's fault.
And the red card does not make his the worse player. Eric is a brilliant player and he has been reliable for Barcelona this season is many positions.

It's just one game, so I think they just put in their all and fight for it. That one match is not going to stop them from winning the league, nor will it stop them from competing for the league. If they somehow win, the final is the only match left in the copa dey rey. I dont believe they are going to win though, but they will at least put in their all.

At this point in time I really think Barcelona should forfeit the hope of winning the Copa del Rey and focus more on the Spanish LA Liga title and the UEFA Champions League also because they're no way they are gonna beat Diago simeone's team 4 goals or more to nothing it's nearly impossible, like Athletico Madrid play a defensive football on a norm talk more of leading with four goals ahead hmm they are definitely gonna defend with all they've got so I really advise Barcelona should forget about this cup and push their focus on something more pleasant.

I don't think Barcelona will ever forget exactly what happened to them yesterday when they were playing against atletico Madrid because does guys were on fire and I don't blame them they protected there home with everything they got because just first half and they already scored four goals and it was just crazy, and since they were playing home I expected it,  and even the second leg I don't think Barcelona will be able to score exactly the four goals so to me automatically atletico have the advantages here.

I did not see that it's football and we should understand that anything can happen, and even from the beginning I know that it won't go well, what ever the case might be the game have finish and Barcelona lost nothing more nothing less.
