Just two days ago, Atletico madrid won 4-0 against barcelona. Everyone had high expectations from atletico madrid today because they  were able to win by dominating  against a strong team like Barcelona. But we saw a terrible performance today.

Rayo vallecano managed to score two goals in the first half. In the second half , we were waiting for madrid's comeback. But Atletico Madrid could not score any goals in the second half either. Instead, they  conceded one more goal. As a result,  Atletico madrid was able to secure a big victory in the match by 3-0. I would say this is a  shameful result for Atletico madrid.

The way Atletico Madrid behave sometimes, you will think they are such a team that you can't use to play. Look at what they played against Vallecano, even one goal they didn't score but this same people score 4 goals against Barcelona that went viral. Does that means they cheated their ways to win that match like Barcelona fans were complaining or they just go lucky that Barcelona has one player down by read card and couldn't play 10 players.

It's better they win Barcelona here in Laliga and not do well in Copa del Rey but they have decided to switch roles in this league. Fun fact about the match they played today, Villarreal and Real Madrid are yet to played their match, that means if they both win their match Atletico Madrid doesn't not stand the chance of staying second and third place again on the table, even  the fourth place is becoming a problem in this case because of how they loss.

They lack stability for quite a while now. That loss was a big hit. The issue for them is that they know already that they are not playing for the title, but now that they lose these rather easy points, it could actually become an issue when it comes to UCL qualification. Initially when Arbeloa came up here to Real Madrid he was not too good like his performance level were to strong but now he is undefeated and making 10/01 performance in every matche. I think if he continues like this then definitely they can regain their strength with a strong capacity.....

I blamed Simeone in this game match, I expected him to encourage his players to performed well just as they did against Barcelona, but the way he behaved sometimes is discouraging. I think the lack of competition in this Laliga against the three ever present teams in the champions league positions are actually the reason why most of the time teams like Atletico Madrid do not bother to actually avoid droping points just anyhow. Personally if any one is saying they were surprised seeing Atletico Madrid actually losing this weekend after such performance in the mid week I would say that such fan hasn’t actually watched this Atletico Madrid team for the past two seasons now because I do not think there is any team with so much inconsistency as them, they can turn up to beat Real Madrid or Barcelona comfortably in a game and then three days later lose to a team destined for the drop.

Rayo Vallecano were just sitting in the relegation drop zone before this game and not having any chance until Simeone present them own by actually tweaking his winning team probably because of the champions league play off coming but it would have been best to start well with those players from the Barca game and then withdraw them afterwards and not the other way round, nonetheless they still do not look threatened to miss out of the top in the league and that’s why he is throwing away all this points

Apart from the Copa del Rey that seems very possible for them to win, I'm not exactly sure of other titles that they're competing for at this point. Benching your best players because you're playing against a team that is fighting relegation, is one of the riskiest thing to do. I understand that Atletico Madrid are about 15 points behind the league leaders if I'm not mistaken, but I think it's just too early to give up the chase. Winning just one title without fighting hard for the others doesn't sound interesting to me.
