For now, this game looks like a tough one for Barcelona to win Because we can see that both teams are moving forward with equal goals in this game and the score line between them is now 1-1. I think that after the break, this team will change their game plan and Rafinha and Lamine Yamal might start to show their magic against Girona in the 24th round match today. However, if Barcelona doesn't win this match, it will be a loss for them because we can already see that Real Madrid has 60 points, which will automatically make them lose the top spot. Barcelona will undoubtedly need to be united in their commitment tonight and at this stage my guess if they want to win at home to Girona, they will need to reduce their missed attempts.

It will be interesting when the match results end with the score unchanged.

It's just a single loss so the league is still very much open for anything to happen and that's why I don't think Real Madrid have just won it yet or saying that Barcelona have bottled the league just yet . Barcelona are a very good team and they just need to get back in their winning form and you know Real Madrid are also not in the best of shapes so anything and everything can happen so I won't be surprised if Real Madrid actually even dropped point in the long run.

I don't think there's any disputing the fact that Barcelona had a better performance in the first half of the game but football is a game of two halves and for you to win, you have to be the better side on both halves. Barcelona came in the second half less hungry for a victory than the host team Girona, that I think was what made the difference in that game.
Barcelona's defense were almost toothless and lacking in the game and if improvements aren't made in the defence, I see them losing even more LA Liga games in coming weeks.

I was very disappointed for Barcelona in their yesterday match against the Girona, imagine that Barcelona who was leading the Girona right from the first half of the match but they later give the Girona a chances to dominated the match. There right time to take over the top of standings from the Real Madrid have wasted yesterday after conceding a straight 3 goals from the Girona; their 2 points left behind Real Madrid and if Real Madrid win their next match their points gap will be far away from Barcelona.

This same Barce was awarded a penalty in that game, which they fail to convert. They also scored the first goal In the game to take the lead. But unfortunately for them, Girona did a fantastic comeback to win the game. Of course, there was a controversy in the game, especially with the incident prior to the winning goal, but for a supposed team that knows that the league is against them, ware they not supposed to sit tight to their goal lead or even a draw?. You should also recognized Girona where playing like a wounded Lion, they where responding the same energy to Barcelona almost immediately. If that red card Girona had was within 20 more minutes to end of game, Barcelona would capitalize to score. However the incident that led to Girona second goal, was a foul that the referee refused to acknowledge, I saw the Barcelona Coach insisting on Ref to check the build up to last goal on VAR, but he didn't bother.

This game against Girona was one of the worst games played by Barcelona this season. I think the best teams can have games with unfavourable outcomes when actually they were stronger, but in this game Barcelona lost control entirely. They allowed so many big chances against them, it is quite unusual for them to give it away like that. They rarely had chances on their own and the worst part is that I thought they might have been missing like several top players, but they didn't That would at least have been a small excuse.

Now that Real Madrid took over, Barcelona and Flick will understand that the time for errors is now over. They should not allow Real Madrid to increase that gap anymore as there is still the clasico game in May and if the gap by then is too big, Barcelona can't increase the pressure sufficiently anymore.

After all the bad results, especially in the Copa del Rey, Arbeloa apparently gets those problems solved. There is of course some help from Barcelona and if he wins the La Liga trophy and perhaps gets far in the UCL, he may get a contact extension.
