Especially considering their style of play, we have to say they're behind Barcelona. Barcelona plays better, but even they can drop points. If Real Madrid starts dropping points, Barcelona could climb back to the top of the table. So the possibilities are still high.

What make Real Madrid not really strong but Barcelona are an inform team? You have attachment to Real Madrid because of this statement, Barcelona are hardly complete and when ever the have a complete team they go on a win run but when they aren’t complete they suffer.
Real Madrid have injuries in defense and I believe that they have a potential to reach but that does not make them not a strong team. If to you Real Madrid is not really strong then acknowledge Barcelona injuries to important players.

I don't think they are actually feeling pressured about the second leg especially seeing who Atletico Madrid lost to after they trash them four goals to nil and considering the goals Atletico Madrid conceded. Also, the fans are not really worried or being disappointed since there are many who believe in a comeback and then they qualifying to the next round but the game against Girona was more disappointing for them than that of Atletico Madrid.

Barcelona are having injury woes  but still have a squad to compete and even get wins in these games, overall this is majorly inconsistency.

Barcelona has bad result in last several matches after defeating two games in a row from Atletico Madrid in semifinal of copa del rey match and losing from Girona at La Liga match last week. Currently few matches later Barcelona has most busy schedule matches by facing two teams in La Liga Levante and Villareal then facing Atletico Madrid at second leg for Copa del Rey match.
Has advantage moment for Barcelona by playing three matches later in a row all matches play at home, its moment for improving the performance after losing three points last week and Barcelona have dropped to 2nd position behind Madrid has 2 points remaining.

Well Every season El Classico always have a big say on who will win the league and I feel it will be the same this season. It the fixture 35th and that make it more interesting because I still feel it then their will be a little gap between the 2 sides. After that big loss for Barcelona, Real Madrid now sit at the very top and I know they would surely want to do everything possible to remain at that top. Well when you look at it in recent game Real Madrid are now trying to put that consistency in their game especially in the league.

This happened because Flick overemphasized their attacking style which is always all out which makes Barcelona always lose when trying to intercept fast counter-attacks especially some players like Balde at left-back for me tend to be slow when compared to some left-backs at big clubs like Carreras at Madrid or Ruggeri at Atletico. Actually, it doesn't matter when Flick wants to try to continue to prioritize good pressing and make their attack patterns look very real but this must also be balanced with a defense line that has speed and endurance in roaming the field and currently they don't have it in both full-backs.

Pedri does have a contribution but for his performance this season I don't see anything that stands out when compared to last season or previous seasons because at the moment Pedri also seems to have a decline even though he is still very capable in controlling the midfield for Barcelona.
The next few matches, especially against Villarreal at the end of this month, will definitely not be easy especially since Villarreal is still one of the clubs that can be a stumbling block even though against Levante I am quite sure of 3 points for them.

The counter-attack thing is actually not every team is able to do this to them. Regular mid-table sides who simply sit back? Barcelona mop them off, high line holding, no problem. This particular club is only on a mission with the top clubs, they only play to their full potential then go ahead to become a flop  against weak teams..

Athletico Madrid can just decide to lock their home while capitalizing on the counter attacks for the 2nd leg.. They knew what they were doing when they disqualified the only goal Barca had   and put suspension on the most reliable defender Barca currently has despite their weak defense. Guess what, both had to be manually reviewed which shows a clear intention from the officials of  that game.

I know some fan base will still quote me on this  but you know what , Barca still didn’t deserve the win with their performance. Maybe if they lose it  in the 2nd leg, they will focus more on  fixing their performance against upcoming UCL games.

Real Madrid is currently starting to return to its best form after its players recovered from injuries. Trent Alexander Arnold has recovered from his injury, as is Rudiger who is 100% fit. In my opinion, no one can beat Real Madrid in La Liga. Previously, when they met Barcelona in the El Clasico match for the Spanish Super Cup, many Real Madrid players were injured and absent due to accumulated cards, but now they have returned to their best form. This is very good for their morale in winning the La Liga title and the European Champions League. Moreover if rumors say that Florentino Perez will bring in Pedri from Barcelona and Dominik Szoboszlai from Liverpool, of course if they strengthen the midfield. Why it does not only say for Barcelona alone is that we don't no if the same thing will befall on real Madrid because if Barcelona possibility of not wining all, Real Madrid will also see the possibility of an incomplete point but however the club that would have more losing between them are the one that would watch how the trophy would be giving to other. Yes, Real Madrid did not start well, that's why they were not a strong team. Real Madrid's players were inconsistent in both the attack and defense departments. But then Barcelona reigned and occupied the top spot of the points table with many points. Personally I never consider Real Madrid a team that is not doing well, I only recognised they are have some set backs which at some point took too linger than expected, this set back was due to injuries and a few other situations around the team but then they sem to be back at the time and as for Barcelona, they have shown that strength to wanting to win the la liga but then it sem they could not sustain it for the longest and now if it happens they are unable to keep up with it, then we cannot say no to Madrid but at this time they are both the best contenders and let the best side win the trophy.

Maybe you are not seeing the little defect Real are having because they are winning matches with a goal difference margin, coupled with the fact that some of the decisive moment was converted because of penalty awarded to them, check the Laliga fixtures of Real Madrid and you will find out that for almost every two goals they score, they is always a penalty awarded to them.
I know penalty is an advantage to a team and part of footballing but this phenomenon tells you more about the team than just there position currently In the Laliga
