After the Barcelona game, a lot of fans have been fuming regarding the refereeing and the VAR for both the Athletico and Girona games..
Barcelona had a terrible game for sure, but I will still continue to say that the VAR and the referee officials for this game were terrible.

Firstly, there’s absolutely no reason to stop a game for up to 8 mins just to nullify a goal by all means .

Secondly, Athletico deserved a red card for this particular tackle:

Some of you will defend it, but before then, this particular guy was fouled in the early minutes. Again, it was around his ankle.

Yet, at the late minute Garcia was given a red card for a tackle that’s not as worse as the above, rules are rules right?..

Against Girona, a foul was also committed on Kounde and this goal was allowed. The same foul, which was even a tip, was disqualified against Rayo Vallecano.


Both games came with a lot of dirty tackles from Barcelona opponents without cards from the ref..don’t believe me, go check the highlights of both games.

Again, Barca had the chance to take on opportunities and as well prevent most of these goals, but they played terribly with a bad defense, they deserved it but what the officials did were bad & terrible..

Why is that when Fc Barcelona lose a game their fans, the team and the players will be complaining about referees, I thought Barcelona don’t complain about referees? Barcelona played a beautiful football and they never complained about the officiating in any match, Last season when Real Madrid was complaining about referees and how VAR was hurting and try to report to referee committee Barcelona fans and the team was saying that Real Madrid is crying because they are not good, Atletico Madrid also joined Barcelona and said they should be protecting referees because they are human and human made mistakes.

There is nothing a Barcelona fans will say that will confuse me because they are the club that have a case in the court for paying referees for complete eight years, when Barcelona win matches they will not complain but when they lose they will start complaining that the La Liga referees are doing everything to make Real Madrid win the league, Barcelona team and their fans are so delusional that they don’t know what they want, when Real Madrid lose a game you will never see any of their fans complaining but when Barcelona lose they will not let the media to rest, Barcelona played so poorly against Girona, Girona deserves to win the game, I think the reason why Barcelona are now complaining is because Real Madrid is now leading them with 2 points.

Real Madrid is struggling to execute counter attacks too. when you can't counter attack, the opposition can push into your half comfortably, knowing they won't concede even if they lose the ball. Real Madrid is playing so slowly that they can't even cross into the opponent's half without making 6 or 7 build up passes. Arbeloa needs to fix this issue imo.

Arbeloa isn't a coach at Real Madrid's level anyway. They'll probably keep him until the end of the season and then sign a better coach. In fact, I would love to see German coach Jurgen Klopp return to Real Madrid. Because his management style is very suitable for Real Madrid. I think he's a coach who could revive Real Madrid and achieve great success. If Arbeloa can fix the shortcomings and win the championship this year, then maybe there will be hope for next year.

Madrid lost despite having 81 % ball possession. This is unbelievable. This was osasuna's home match. But we saw Real madrid's dominance in the match. They tried to control the match by possessing the ball. But the  strategy did not work. Budimir scored from the penalty spot in the 38th minute. Madrid equalized the match  in the second half with Vini's goal in the 73rd minute. But in the 90th minute, Raul garcia broke Madrid's defense again. If Barcelona can win today, we are going  to see a change in the points table again.

It was a truly surprising match. Real Madrid's defensive wall was weak. Osasuna played impressively as the home team and it was an unexpected win for them. It proved once again that even if a team plays impressively in a match, they have to be lucky to win the final. Despite having 81% of the ball, Real Madrid managed to put only 4 shots on target. The match was very hot and I agree with you that Real Madrid did the entire playing yet they lost to their host. It's one of those things that are happens in football which is why luck is still a factor in football. I know that such loss by Real Madrid benefits Barcelona who will comfortably beat Levante to climb to the top of the Spanish La Liga table. This year is not easy for the entire competition as we can see how Barcelona and Real Madrid have been alternating the top of table. Even now we know that either of Barcelona or Real Madrid who will win the league.

both teams competing for the la liga title are struggling to maintain a good run of form. the leading team keeps dropping points, while the chasing team fails to gain points, and it continues like this. i wonder how things would be if there were a title favorite other than barcelona and real madrid in the league. currently, with no close rivals in the standings, they're only competing against each other. but in a scenario where a third team were competing alongside them, perhaps we'd see a slightly different, more competitive league.

I was not expecting too much from Real Madrid in yesterday‘s match. The reason is because they just played a very difficult match a few days ago with Benfica they are not machine they need enough rest to be able to perform very well, let’s remember also that they have a return Match very soon with Benfica and I believe that is where there interest is more. Barcelona would win against levante. They cannot lose against levante that is at the bottom of the table. Barcelona will claim the top spot as they would definitely beat levante. Real madrid lost was a big slap, if they cannot beat a small team like levante I doubt if they can beat benfica in the UEFA champions league. Real Madrid statistically dominated ball possession in the first half and even in the second half. I personally think that the 4-4-2 formation used by Real Madrid was not suitable for the match against Osasuna. Perhaps Real Madrid could have played better with the 4-3-3 formation they used previously against Osasuna in the first round of La Liga. However this result means that Real Madrid could easily be overtaken by Barcelona if Barcelona wins against Levante in tonight's match. Isn't this the case for many teams? If you have too many star players, it becomes very difficult to manage them. That's exactly what's happening at Real Madrid right now. Vinicius and Bellingham, who don't want to be overshadowed by Mbappé, are disrupting the team's entire structure. I agree on that. It is never easy to handle a team with so many stars... I can't say they are selfish all the time but they have been like that so many times. Sometimes it was even in critical times which led them to lose points.

You are right, Barcelona will want to approach this game by going all out, this is their chance to reclaim their top spot after that unfortunate lose to their local rival Girona. Hansi flick wouldn't want to waste that chance. Levante are not really doing well this season so playing at Camp nou will be quite tough for them. This is nothing new, the biggest thing is that big clubs mean media pressure, so Barcelona fans say the referee helps Madrid. Again, Madrid fans say the referee helps Barca. However, I think the biggest truth is that the team that loses complains and the fans of that team also talk about that complaint more, it is the same for both sides. Although VAR was introduced to eliminate this controversy, but with its arrival, every decision can be analyzed by people, so instead of reducing the controversy, more has emerged.

Turns out luck wasn't on their side, it is normal to have high possession and yet lose the match. Girona scored late minute and defended very well that secured them the win, to an extent of collecting red card before the final whistle. Girona played well in the match, we have to acknowledge them for that, it wasn't an easy win because Barcelona made good efforts, it didn't just work for them.

Barcelona just had a bad day, they were just unlucky that day, because they had all the possession and were in the best position to win that game , Girona did played well and aswell got lucky with this one but I believe Barcelona will doo better subsequently and still gwt to top the table with a good point gap to stay ahead while Madrid contends the top position with them.

However, the momentum is the one that is not understandable and we can't really see them as a team that can afford to lose these games. They lost the game against Atletico Madrid as well but because it wasn't a league game nobody really dwelled on it too much, they also lost to Sociedad not too long ago, that is six points that is gone, which they could have lead by 5 points if that was all wins.

Some say Real Madrid doesn't need a coach who understands tactics and strategies. They just need a coach who can manage their players' egos. Every Real Madrid player feels like a star because they play for the best club in the world. That's why a coach like Ancelotti can deliver numerous titles for Real Madrid, even though many say Ancelotti is a tactically poor coach. Furthermore, Zidane, who lacks extensive coaching experience, managed to deliver three consecutive Champions League titles, the first and only Champions League title in history. Zidane isn't a tactically savvy coach. He hasn't been recruited by any club since leaving Real Madrid. I don't know if Zidane doesn't want to coach another team or if the club simply doesn't think he has the capacity to coach, which requires a variety of tactics and strategies to maximize the potential of each player. But what made him successful at Real Madrid was Zidane's ability to manage his players' egos, and he is a highly respected legend.

You might be right to some extent that these players are seeking personal acheivements. But they have been winning games and playing good football. A single loss shouldnt be the reason to write them off. I have also observed that these players are becoming selfless to some extent.
