I support the claim of the guy above me, i feel like Barcelona despite this bad phase is the best team all around, Real Madrid doesnt have that flow in the team and they only win thanks to the high value players they have, but they dont play as a real team, Barcelona plays much better than them but they have a big trouble right now which is the defense.

There was a time when high value players do matter in football but that law of gravity began to fade the moment Barcelona sold their faves and lose some as free agent. I remembered when Neymar and Messi exit Barcelona, everything about their structure collapse, that's was the period it was reported that they were dealing with Financial crisis but later on, they pass that phase and now the little they have are doing well and are not using money to compensate players anymore.

Real Madrid is also undergoing that phase but for them I don't know when they are going to outgrow that phase. Vinicious is asking for huge fee, look at Mbape performance and the team is not going anywhere. Until they learn to differentiate between money and performance that's the time the club will adjust and do better. Look at the way they just loose this spot to Barcelona just after 1 week they had the chance to turn things around but all went down for nothing.

I think they should give honor to whom honor is due, so you believe now now player is earning huge amounts of money in that Barcelona team? The fact is if a player is entrusted with so much burdens he should equally earn huge to match up his hard work because no one is expected to work like an Elephant and eat like Ant, you made mention of Vinicius and Mbappe, now take a good look at them both what ever wage they are been paid or ask of are they not worth it? I often say that a coach can only give directions but cannot play on the field. So I agree with you on this. The weakness of Real Madrid at the moment is that the coaching identity is not clear. As a result, the performance of the players has to be in line with the club's politics, but in reality, the focus should be on football. I agree with the point that Barcelona ought to score lots of goal in today's match, it felt like they were focusing too much on the defense rather than attacks, but Levante is not a good enough team to perfectly test Barcelona's defense to see whether they are ready for other big teams like ATM.

I know it'll be a very difficult task but Alvaro Arbeloa has all the quality players needed to get it done at the end. Barcelona is currently at the top and I don't expect them to give up their top place, however, I'm optimistic that the League trophy will return to the Spanish capital ay the end of season

Seriously, Xabi Alonso managing Real Madrid was kind of challenging for him due to how the players doesn’t want to follow what the manager said. And yes, if it’s like that there is no way we will see improvement from them, because if the players cannot follow what the manager said there is no way the team performance will go as everyone wanted.

I really get your point, the reason why it feels like the El Clasico and the rivalry was more intense back then was because of the fact that the rivalry wasn't just about Barcelona and Real Madrid an additional factor was the rivalry between there two aces in Messi and Ronaldo, majorly, those two took the El Classico into another dimension and they brought different league fans attention to the Spanish excitement.

Now we don't have that kind of rivalry and it was only Yamals posts on social media that sparked that intensiveness in there past matchup.

The coming weekend is likely to bring some changes in the top 3.
Barcelona plays Villarreal at home. If they fail to win, Real will have a chance to jump back in the 1st place, provided they win their own game against Getafe (at home).
But if Barcelona defeats Villareal, it will be a good chance for Atletico Madrid to steal Villarreal's 3rd spot.
